Tricia Bjornstad is a superstar!!! I came in with my fiancée looking for a wedding fragrance and Tricia enlightened us on a few beautiful gems. She gave her opinions and expertise and made our visit personable and memorable. Her customer service is unmatched!

This is not my usual rating for Nordstrom South Park, as I have been a customer for over 8 years. Yesterday, I had a doctor appointment and wore a sweat suit for comfort. I decided to do some shopping afterward. I noticed a new Salesperson in the shoe department. She greeted every person who came in, but me. I walked passed her 3 times while viewing shoes, she did look directly at me, but said nothing. Normally, when shopping for shoes, I buy 3 - 4 pairs at a time. Yesterday I bought none.
No, I was not dressed up in my usual "I belong here" wear, but to assume I was not shopping put a dent in her commission. Nordstrom should teach all employees to treat all customers the same. I am just relocating here to Charlotte. Stop by Nordstroms to grab some dress shoes for a work event next week at the Fillmore. All of the sales associates in the men's shoe department looked at me several times but did not speak nor offer any assistance. So, I found some shoes I wanted on my own and went to the counter. The Italian/spanish guy finally helped me but then. asked me to wait so he could assist a caucasian guy. I was appalled, so I told him no worries I no longer want the shoes. I spoke with the assistant manager who was extremely kind and professional in trying to resolve the issue. She stated would address the issue. But after the experience with the sales person, I'd rather spend my money somewhere else. Back home the nordstroms employee's are extremely helpful and professional to all.

I've been a regular shopper of Nordstrom (and Nordstrom Rack) for many years. They have the brands I love (Liverpool, Wit & Wisdom, Jag Jeans, NYDJ, 7 For All Mankind, CeCe, etc.), and I can often get items on sale by adding them to my wish list and getting notified when the prices have dropped. It's convenient to order something online for pickup at the store, but not many items I want are available locally.
Recently, I purchased a bra on sale for pickup at the store. My usual size felt too big, so I grabbed a smaller size in the lingerie department to try on. The associate, Mary, offered to have me fitted so I'd know what size was right for me. We found the same bra I had purchase online for an exchange plus another bra, and both were on sale. What a difference it made having a fitting! I ended up getting different band AND cup sizes than I've always gotten before, and the bras I purchased are so much more comfortable!

Terrible experience today at the Nordstrom in South Park. Tried to spend money but salespeople were all rude and not helpful. Left and spent my money at other stores at the mall instead.
The commission structure they have is an issue. We tried to buy things from different departments and 1 shoe department lady told my wife she has to buy everything from her because of commissions this made us feel uncomfortable. If that wasn't bad enough, we asked a salesperson to try on a north face. She said we couldn't because of the security lock. I asked to unlock and she said come back later. Came back later and she was no where. Tried to ask other salespeople and was completely ignored.
We ended up leaving and will not come back to this Nordstrom. You guys really need to train your employees on customer service. Commission is not everything. I purchased my wedding shoes at this store. The shoe clerks were very helpful. So many options to choose from. They said if I don't like how it look with the dress I can always return them. I felt good leaving this shoe. I would recommend this department store for wedding shoes

I truly used to love Nordstrom but my experience tonight (and a few recent other experiences) have been pretty bad.
My mom & I decided to have a girls weekend in Charlotte and go shopping. In total, we spent about 6 hours in Nordstrom and we barely got any assistance at all. While trying on clothes, multiple employees were in the dressing room talking (which is totally fine) but when I asked for help, they seemed annoyed that I interrupted. They didn't have a rack to hang clothes you don't want on & when I came out with my hands full of clothes, they still offered no assistance even when I asked. Because we were in the store for so long, we interacted with many employees & only 1 was remotely friendly. This might not seem like a big deal but Nordstrom used to have the best customer service & when you're in a store that's supposedly high end, it's nice to at least have some assistance.
By far the worst part of tonight though was when we were leaving for the night. We purposely parked right by the entrance so that we wouldn't have to walk around a parking garage at night. At 8:56, we noticed the door we parked near was locked. When we asked an employee if they could unlock it, they said the alarm was already set. The only door unlocked was on the opposite side of the store. When we voiced our concern about walking all the way to our car, they told us we'd just have to walk around.
I understand that they close at 9 but walking around an unfamiliar area at night (especially as a woman) isn't ideal at all, and is actually pretty unsafe. I find it frustrating that there wasn't even a sign on the entrance stating that it locks before closing so we could plan accordingly. After 6+ hours of shopping & a ton of money spent, it felt like a slap in the face that our safety wasn't taken into consideration at all, even when we voiced our concern. I know employees want to go home but locking almost all exits before 9 & refusing to open them is a little ridiculous. A lot of department stores carry the same items so there's really no reason to shop here anymore.Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0Business owner information

This was the last day of the anniversary sale and I though all the deals would be gone. But luckily I found one pair of gucci glasses and Tory Burch purse and wallet on sale. They normally have all the high-end designer merchandise marked down so reasonable I don't mind spending on myself.

BEWARE! Nordstrom Charlotte - South Park sells counterfeit clothing! Last night I purchased a $350 Alice + Olivia dress. The e-receipt picture of the dress looked nothing like what I bought. It ended up being a $64 dress sold at many retailers.
When I brought the dress back to the store, the Sales Associate, Skardy, & Manager couldn't have cared less. They didn't say "I'm sorry this happened" or "I'm sorry for your trouble" nor did they indicate this would be escalated appropriately. Complacency at its finest.
They Associate and Manager also showed a complete lack of concern for the integrity of the store. When I asked the Sales Associate if this happens a lot, he said "Well, it's America." Recently ordered something online for a friend and picked it up at this location. It was super easy and better to get it in person since it was an expensive accessory that would cause me to freak out if it were delivered in my building's package room.
Easy parking in the parking deck. I went to the Customer Service design near the escalators, and the online order pickup was upstairs next to the cafe. I was really surprised they had a designated area and a whole shelf full of merchandise waiting to be picked up. Easy Peasy.
Not going to lie, I usually just breeze past all the sections here at the location to reach the mall if I park on this end, but you could probably spend hours here depending on what you are shopping for. Lots of designer/high end stuff here with plenty of folks to assist with looking for stuff. I always worry that I'm tracking mud into the end-cap of a mall, especially a Nordstrom, but I just have my own issues to work out.
