About the Business
Nonni was an amazing cook and her Grandson Dennis always wanted to open a Restaurant duplicating not only the great food memories he had but also the Italian Hospitality and feeling of family that he grew up knowing...We specialize in our Daily risotto which every day has a new creative recipe, Cannelonni which like our meatballs is made with Beef, Veal and Pork and our Lasagna which is delicious. We also make all of our own sauces and dressings and desserts and pasta are fresh. Happy hour 3 pm - 5:30 Northern Italian Cuisine

Doesn't live up to the menu.
We were really excited to try this spot. From the menu, it sounded authentic and good! So disappointing. Not even close to Italian. But it's not just that.. the food was BAD. They use way too much cheap white wine in their white sauce. Like the sauce was sour! And carbonara doesn't have wine in it, so not sure why it was even added. The seafood Alfredo had the same sour white wine sauce. The crab was drenched in lemon. In an Italian cream sauce? Lemon?? That's just to hide the taste of bad fish. Even the child's order of meatball and spaghetti was bad. The meatball tasted like frozen tv dinner meatball, but with even less flavor. Kind of like meatloaf with no seasoning,
The Caesar salad was gross. Tight romaine hearts with store bought dressing. An actual anchovie has never been near this restaurant. The weirdest was the crouton. Crunchy outside and mushy inside, with the flavor of pasta noodles.
I don't often get up and leave because the food is so bad, but I did here. Felt sorry for the waitress.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 2 - Seth M.Peachtree City, GA07Feb 27, 2024
With one single meal, Nonni's became my favorite restaurant in all of Seaside, Canon Beach, or Astoria.
The service was impeccable. The chicken piccata was the best Italian dish I have had in the United States.
You've got to go.Helpful 3Thanks 1Love this 1Oh no 0 - Feb 16, 2024
What a find!
When you're at any beach town, you think fried...
Fried fish and chips, calamari, french fries, etc. Nothing really sounded good until we drove by Nonni's. A quick Yelp search taught us that you don't have to settle for typical fare while staying at the beach. Nonni's is some of the best, if not the best Italian I've had anywhere.
From the moment we walked in we were greeted by the friendliest hostess (but also our server) who seated us promptly by the indoor fireplace. It was cold outside, so this was a welcomed treat.
The bread was outstanding, the wine was better, and the food was to die for. The Caesar salad was crisp and cold, and yes, they'll add anchovies if you're so inclined.
Then came the chicken piccata - truly outstanding. Moist, well-seasoned chicken breast, with just the right amount of tangy caper sauce. The veggies were fresh, and homemade pasta! We split the entree, so double what you see here for a single order.
We only wish we lived closer, as we'd be regulars if we didn't live in Seattle!Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - 214232155Mar 30, 2024
This place came highly recommended and it is now on my recommend list. Each dish I sampled was fantastic but the lasagna makes my top 3 list. A great menu with a curated wine selection, signature dishes, appetizers and delicious desserts. The interior is big enough to seat large parties without drowning in crosstalk. Our hostess for the night gave great suggestions and was very friendly.

Food was above average Italian Atmosphere was a little lack luster. Tried getting a drink at the bar and sitting down but only allowed customer eating at bar to sit. A bit expensive. Rating just above average.

Do you like homemade Italian food? This family spot in Seaside is spot on! My husband ALWAYS orders the risotto and he has never been disappointed. The risotto with a big hunk of salmon on top is a favorite. I love the chicken piccata- so fresh- but I do admit I get risotto envy when his dinner arrives.
Service is friendly and attentive. Since opening their second room, we've gotten to sit with much shorter waits.
The nicest cap on the evening comes with a complimentary liqueur at the end. It's great that our accommodations are within walking distance. Settles that delicious dinner down!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Ach H.El Cajon, CA22273Apr 13, 2024
Fantastic service from the front door until we left. Everything was so delicious and our server was able to give recommendation on choices between this dish or that. Want to go back soon. FYI.... The best raddichio salad we've ever had.
