Spent the day at the pool with some friends as their guests and we had a wonderful time. The pool was warm and there were plenty of towels, freshly folded for us to use. After some swimming we decided to order margaritas and food. The staff on the pool deck was speedy and polite. We couldn't have asked for freshets fries as the food was served hot and in a timely manor. If we lived in SoCal we would be members in a heartbeat.

NBTC is like home away from home and the people treat you like royalty. There's not much else I can say but it's nice knowing you can go somewhere and see some familiar faces who are happy to see you walk through the door

      Wow! What a beautiful location.

Maybe one star I had a hard time picking between one and two.

Everything else - or I don't know if everything else - but by and large you can find better for cheaper elsewhere. Management is new. My experience is that they have favorites and are cold and judgmental unfortunately. One man's story so I hope there are more positive reviews from others. At the same time I don't want this dishonest, impatient ownership to mislead informed consumers.

Ownership at the palisades tennis club down the street is much more open minded and friendly. Ken, the owner there, used to be on ATP and is as kind as they come. His facility is also beautiful.

Compared to the few tennis clubs around here, this spot is the best because it has a nice bar and patio /dining area so players can hang out and be social..
Definitely a happy place for all to enjoy. I met so many amazing people here and we look forward to coming here daily!
July 4th at the pool was a lot of fun too. Nice job NBTC :)

If you're coming for tennis--it's a pretty good facility. I used to play on club teams back in the day and this was one of my favorites. Fun place to play and great to watch pro/charity matches.

However - if you do the Groupon thing for a swim membership for your kids like I did... just don't. The pool is smallish and idk what their "saline" situation means but I got an ear infection *every* *single* *time* I went in the pool. The whole area is crumbling and the bathrooms are pretty bad.

Also - they know who you are when you start with a Groupon membership and were never, ever friendly to me and my family. I was never sure if it was the Groupon thing or if it was because I'm overweight. I joined for my family and me to swim for exercise, not sure why I need to justify that? But it wasn't very fun to go.

There is a food/beverage minimum which wasn't a problem, it was great to bring the kids and their friends and make a day of it with lunch and snacks at the pool. When i was charged a $200 "gratuity" in November for a holiday bonus for staff without my consent, that was it for me. Canceled my membership and never wanted to go back. We don't miss it. And I had converted to a full membership and it was still terrible.

Under new management and soft opening this week for dining. I ordered a southwest chicken salad for lunch. Sadly, all lettuce, grilled chicken, 5 kernels of corn, and 3 or 4 one inch tortilla strips, Wow?? I kept looking and tossing to find the ingredients? That day, by the pool , 2 employees were sitting talking at a table under the green awning . I asked , when convenient, may I have 2 waters with ice. Both men looked up and said, we will be with you in a few minutes and continued chatting. I thought... Huh? Well, we see the "new management" is slow to get off and running and we are disappointed at best.

I came here to watch my boyfriend play in the Michael Chang tournament. The courts are really nice here! As soon as you enter you will see a colorful court which I thought was pretty cool.

There are plenty of parking and courts. I'm not sure about the men's locker room but the ladies locker room is clean, spacious and had ameneties such as sunblock, hairspray, towels and lotion. Although, the past few days I felt the staff was noy keeping up with the cleanliness of the bathroom.

Also, the staff who worked here were friendly. However, the people who are a part of this club seemed a bit pretentious and seemed to have difficulty coming off their high horse. Due to this reason and the bathroom reason my review dropped (technically I would give it around a 3.5).

If I played tennis and wanted to drop $$$ amount for a membership, not sure if this is the club I would want to join. I thought there were other clubs nearby, such as RCI, (Racquet Club of Irvine) that had a better facility and friendlier members.

Really incredible burger!! Went to the club last night for a quick bite for the first time under the new management. There is new menu. My wife order the salmon. Review so so. The skin was spiced but naturally that did not make to the salmon. I ordered the burger. It looked good. Large bun with lettuce, tomatoes and onions. I decided to add some ketchup. Flipped the burger over and removed to lower bun. The "meat patty" consisted of 2 small patties. Think McDonalds burger size (small). Naturally they didn't cover the bun. I have never seen anything like this!!! How do you serve something like this? Never eating there again.
