The last appointment I made was a debacle from start to finish. I made an appointment for the first week of September. With the promise if something became available they would call. The call came. I made accepted the appointment. I showed up and was told my appointment was the day before. I would not have taken an appointment the day before. I already had an important appointment for that day. In the meantime this salon had taken $120.00. Even after explaining why I knew I would have never scheduled for the day before. They made no attempt to set things right. I am disappointed because I truly liked this salon and the young lady that did my hair.

Younger or new stylist require a little more guidance! Although this salon is listed as natural hair care it may be mainly because of the products not because of knowledge related to hair texture or styles. I went in for a consultation two weeks before my actual appointment the stylist appeared knowledgeable but my results were less than desirable.

I can say well after my appointment the dye job was perfect it has lasted longer than most applications. However, I showed a photo of the style I desired and I understand upfront my hair texture may not be the same as the person in the photo. But when you're chopping off your hair the cut should be close to the photo. It was a 'good' cut but, the thinning area on my sides were not considered when 'fading'.

During my initial consultation the stylist said washing my hair will help to see the curl pattern it will help determine if I need twist or product for the desired look. None of that happened! My experience is really hard to explain I didn't get what I asked for but I was able to come home and work it out for myself.

In the end I got a decent haircut and a good dye job so it wasn't a total bust. Would I go back or suggest this salon of 'natural hair care'? NOPE!

I am so happy that I chose Naturally Crowed. Sometimes all you need is for someone to take an interest in your hair and give you guidance. My hair is silver (gray) and until I came here my hair wasn't getting the care it needed. Courtney knew just what I needed from the conditioning, color brightening to the haircut. My hair looks FABULOUS! She took the time and interest to tell me how to keep my hair in good shape. I made another appointment before I left so I can continue to maintain my hair. I am so happy with my hair. Thank you Courtney and all the stylist in Naturally Crowned for an excellent hair experience.

I don't let everyone do my brows, and have reluctantly floated around to different nail salons in the city trying to achieve a certain look. Unfortunately, most places are prone to over-plucking my thick brows, when most of the time I just want a subtle shaping or clean-up.

Unfortunately, my requests most often get lost in translation. So, I was happy to see this place pop up in my Groupon search, and happier when I realized they are black-owned.

I arrived on time, and waited in the car to be texted on when to come in. I appreciated them doing this for safety during this pandemic. Masks were worn and my temperature was also taken. I waited a bit long to be texted, but based on hearing her tell another customer they were running behind, I let that go. Everyone is adjusting to this new normal.

Cortney did my brows and I think they came out looking great. I didn't even have to tell her to just do a soft arch and not overpluck them. I think she did one of the best jobs I have seen in years on these brows. I really can't overstate enough how frustrating it is how some of these salons just immediately go to taking off too much of my brow.

Cortney was really pleasant, and I didn't have an issue getting an appt right away (no one answered the phone originally - so maybe they were overwhelmed). I think I'll return.

Oh yeah, they also have a little parking lot.

I had a great experience for my first visit. The salon has a good vibe, there is on-site parking, and everything was exactly as quoted. They are organized, friendly, and clean. I will be back and plan on bringing my daughter to get a service as well. @naturallycrownedhairstudio

This Black owned salon is conveniently located a 15 minute walk from my home. Could not be better. I've had a conditioning treatment with the mist machine and my wash n go is exactly how I wanted it. And it was in and out, just over 1 hour in the salon. Previously, I got a perfect pedicure and manicure. I've found my new salon and stylist

This place is amazing. I loved the salon. I LOVE my hair. If you live in DELCO and you have natural hair PLEASE don't waste any time and just book an appointment here. I got a lovely silk press and my hair is so soft! Cortney is really nice. I'm booking braiding appointments here for my daughter. Look, there are many reviews here for the salon but what you really want to know is if they follow all the rules to keep you safe during Covid and the answer is YES!!!! They sanitize. Masks on. Contactless payments. Everything! PLUS great hair and beauty services. Just book already!!

I went to Naturally Crowned after a recommendation from my friend and had an awesome experience! Destiny did my triangle box braids and she did an amazing job! It was my first time getting any type of braids and she walked me through the process and even offered suggestions on length and accessories! My braids look amazing and I can't wait to go back to the salon in a few weeks!

Also, all the other stylists were super nice, funny and welcoming! Offering drinks and all! Will totally be coming back for not only braids but my natural hair Maintence !

Amazing service! I am a naturally curly girl and I'm VERY particular about who I allow to touch my hair. I've been getting my hair done at high end salons since I was 13 so I'm always apprehensive about trying new salons. I trusted Cortney and she exceeded expectations.

I wanted my hair dyed a burgundy/red color without having to bleach it blonde first. Cortney was able to achieve this and told me about the color line she uses and the benefits it comes with. I was so happy with how my hair turned out. Afterwards, she deep conditioned my hair. Then she simply put in some of her natural hair oils (which she makes herself) before drying my hair and it feels very light and moisturized! Usually my hair is weighed down by an overload of products but thanks to her my hair is full and shiny.

I highly recommend the salon. Cortney and her team are very professional and will ensure that you walk out the door beyond satisfied!
