After going up and down the escalator and taking a shuttle bus forever, we found our car on level 4 and are checking out now. The lady was very nice and asked us if we wanted the gas option. She's very friendly and has nice red hair!! She thanked us for renting from National.

I really appreciate the business model of National, where you can reserve in advance and don't have to wait in a long car rental line. You just arrive and choose a vehicle in the price category you booked online.
I was disappointed when the first car I chose turned on with an alert saying it needed to be returned to the dealer for maintenance. It shouldn't have been in the lot so I'm removing one star from my review. The employee said I could ignore the alert but I was renting the car for a trip to an area with minimal cell service. Decent selection of cars. When we first arrived we chose a car but couldn't find the keys in it.
We ended up with a Nissan altima that was basically brand new. There was one car in front of us when leaving. I'm not sure if it was national or the renter, but they didn't seem to have it together. We were able to chose another exit lane and get on our way.
Checkout was a breeze. Mark helped us at return and he was excellent.

Quick and easy. Definitely get Emerald or Executive and bypass the line. Take the car, drive, and sign out at gate.
Lots of cars to choose from and they were all clean. We stayed away from the Hyundais because the theft issue lol. I understand the newer ones have immobilizers but many thieves don't know that.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0Business owner information

I rented a care here last week during a business trip to Seattle. The experience was ok. You need to take a bus to get to the car rental center. What I found confusing is that when you get to the cars they don't have them organized by the car type. The agent told me to go to the mid-size section which doesn't exist. Everything is labeled with their Emerald Club so I walked around aimlessly for a while trying to figure out where to pick up a car. On top of that, you need to go around the vehicle closing every nook and cranny as they leave everything open after cleaning the cars. The agents I dealt with were great and the overall experience was ok.

Had a wonderful first time experience with National! I'm an Enterprise gal, but they were sold out of all their regular cars due to the rental car shortage. I read through several reviews from other rental spots that had lots of cheap cars, but the reviews were all horrific. One thing about me and rental cars though; I usually drive them to the bone. Because of this, I really need a reliable car. I'll pay more if I know that I won't have any issues.
That's exactly what I did. Let me be clear; it wasn't cheap. BUT... the service was excellent and I had absolutely no issues with my vehicle during the time of my trip. When I arrived at the kiosk to pick up my car, a representative from Alamo actually assisted me. I wish I would have gotten his name, but he was awesome! Didn't have to wait in any ridiculously long lines either. The car was spotless and completely functional. Drove this baby from the Olympic National Forest all the way to the North Cascades with absolutely no issues.
When it came time to return my vehicle, the entire process was painless. The rep sent me a digital receipt for my transaction and I was good to go. All of the associates that I encountered were terrific! I'm thinking that I'll be renting from National a lot more often in the future. National Rental Car is my go-to choice for renting cars. I have rented them all over the country. Due to the car shortage earlier this year, I've found it very hard to get decent rentals at most NRC center airports, even as an Executive member. This location had a great selection to choose from. We flew into SeaTac and rented this car for a road trip from Seattle to Portland, to Cannon Beach, and back to Seattle. The location of the Rental Car Center is a short shuttle ride from SeaTac Airport. Once you get off of the shuttle you can find your way through the lobby to National. We ended up renting a blue Nissan Rogue. It was clean and had a couple of Clorox wipes for us in the cup holder, which was very nice. We had the Rogue for 4 days and it drove great. Gas mileage was good and we only had to fill it up 1.5x for our road trip.
Checkout was quick and easy. Checking back in was made very easy with Ray. Ray was friendly and offered top service. He also double-checked the car to make sure we didn't forget anything.

National has been my rental car of choice for years now. I never have a problem renting from them. This time is no different. Their prices are higher than other agencies, but their hassle free process, great customer service, and the option to select your vehicle keeps me coming back. During the day of our rental they seemed to be very busy. Their selection of vehicles was very poor. We were looking for a standard suv, but they only had standard cars, small and large suvs, and pickups at the executive aisle. Hesitantly we decided on a Nissan Rogue SL for our party of three for 11 days. It did the job but was small for all our gear. Great on gas and tight parking spots. Would definitely rent from National in the future.
