Excellent flavors and food. Their outdoor patio is perfect with covid spacing. We started with the the samosa with a creamy mint sauce. I could make a meal on this alone! We also had naan which was crispy and super good. We had the vegetarian curry which was very flavorful sauce.
We will return.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Katie C.Napa, CA108174276Oct 22, 2020First to Review
Yum! I had a great lunch here. Had to get samosas, they offer veg samosas--very good! The crust is light and flavorful filled w curry potatoes and peas. We asked the waitress for curry recommendations and she said they were making Malai kofta, so we went with that w basmati and their butter naan. Everything was fantastic! The butter naan was super crispy and delicious. The curry had a nice flavor and the koftas were nicely fried and seasoned. They remind me of the Indian version of Mediterranean falafel. Will be back (primarily for the naan)!!

This new place was fantastic! I had it recommended to me by a coworker and was not disappointed. They were extremely busy, but they still took my friend and I, who did not have a reservation. We sat outside in their covered area.
They sat us down immediately, and brought our menus out right away. There was a little wait until they came to take our order and bring water, but it was Friday night at rush hour.
We got our drinks and appetizers, the artichoke pakoras and the veggie samoas very quickly. They were the BEST pakoras I have ever had! I am pretty picky when it comes to my indian food, and they were delicious. The samoas were pretty standard and both came with the usual mint chutney and tamarind sauce.
We had to wait for the main dishes, and they forgot my garlic cilantro naan. It took another 10 mins, but then they also brought me out my completely new and hot dish to go with it. I got a vegan baingan bharta, and my friend got the chicken vindaloo. We both loved them!!! I appreciated that the dishes came with rice, I added the special naan for an extra $2.
Overall, they were very considerate, even though they were absolutely swamped with 2 people as servers, maître d's, bussers, and cashiers. I have been recommending this place to others. I will definitely be going back, but probably not at rush hour if I am really hungry.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Brian L.San Francisco Bay Area, CA125Nov 30, 2020
I am reviewing Momo house. Not sure if it is just a name change or ownership change but The butter chicken is to die for. It was so good we ordered two to go. The owner was nice and sweet.

Visited yesterday for lunch and it was SO delicious. My friend and I sat outside and split an order of mixed Momos, both our first time! Both kinds were yummy, the veggie was more chopped rather than paste type filling, like the chicken. I ordered chicken tikka masala and my friend ordered veggie tikka masala, both with coconut cream. They were perfectly spicy, but not over powering and really flavorful! We both agreed we would eat there again! The only comment I would make is to maybe add some music on the patio! The food was fantastic and the service was great!

Having ordered takeout from them three times recently as well as visited their local alternatives on many occasions over the years and post-COVID, I can say that Namaste is easily the best restaurant in town serving Indian and Nepalese favorites. I have nothing against Napa's other options, especially during this difficult time for small businesses, but Namaste stands alone in terms of consistency, quality of ingredients, care of preparation, and layering of flavors. On the protein front, the impeccably tender lamb, chicken and paneer each hold their own in all of the curries we've tried. As a curry base the saag is a standout, and from a starter perspective you can't go wrong with their signature artichoke pakoras. I'm not a big momo fan, but theirs are easily the best I've had thanks in part to the delicious homemade chutney served alongside. The only item I'd knock a little is their naan.
We've ordered Namaste for takeout every time, but their outdoor patio looks inviting and adequately socially distanced for those choosing to dine in. Slightly off the beaten path, yet just steps from the center of downtown, Namaste is highly recommended as our new go-to for Indian and Nepalese cuisine in Napa.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0
