Mission Viejo Nadadores Swim School

My 10yo has been to swim lessons, the spring break day camp, and the Marlins "squad" program.

The squad program readies children to participate in swim team. It's eight weeks, daily practices, multiple clinics for strokes and diving, and two competitive swim meets.

My child, as well as two other kiddos from our neighborhood, is about to enter her third session of squad. These kids LOVE this program, have strength and stamina, and so much athletic confidence.

I recommend this program highly, it's a great deal.

We have been apart of the swim school program for a year now and absolutely love it. My son started out a level four and with the dedication and guidance from coaches he has now made it into squad. Each member of the team is so caring, and really is attentive to each individual child and their learning and skills.

We are now starting our 2 year old and excited to have another one of our kids become a strong confident and skilled swimmer.

Living in Southern California water safety is massive and knowing that I have a place like the nadadores for my kids to learn and become safe in swimming is everything to me!

Our kids have gone from being able to swim to being swimmers. The coaches are amazing. They are heavily focused on swim technique and ensuring the kids learn the skills to perform in practice and competition. Most importantly, they ensure the kids are having fun.

Our family has had a long history with the Nadadores as both of our boys have swam here. Our 21 year old son started here when he was 6, and with the guidance of his coaches, continued for many years on the competitive team. Though no longer swimming competitively, the Nadadores have provided him with a love for swimming that he still continues as an adult.

Recently our 7 year old moved into Squad after being in the swim school and league, and is loving it. Coach Mo and Callie are wonderful as they hone the skills of the swimmers and provide them with confidence for the sport.

I've had a great experience so far signing up for adult swim class. I saw an Instagram post on the city of Mission Viejo page in regards to kids swimming. I reached out via email to inquire about adult classes. Miyuki was so helpful in finding a solution to work with my work schedule. She was great at providing me the information I needed and following up in a very timely manner. When I showed up to my first class, she was so kind and enthusiastic. Coach Barbara was my swim instructor and she was also very nice and patient with me. The facility itself is very beautiful and clean.

Everyone here is extremely RUDE. They are a bunch of teenagers that clearly hate what they do. Very condescending the way they speak to kids. Not kid friendly at all. not professional and very disorganized. Not to mention very expensive for what you get including shitty service. Had 3 kids here for a few months until I sat in on one of the sessions and realized how disrespectful they were to all the kids. not even worth a 1 star.

I love the MVSS and currently my 8 year old son is participating in the Summer League. My son has a disability and I am so grateful for Cristina (MVSS Manager) and our wonderful coaches (Eliza, JD, Jacob, and Aiden) for their compassion and support. My son has made new friends, has improved his swimming skills, and more importantly, is HAVING A BLAST! I also have a 5 year old who is taking lessons at MVSS and he is learning so much and always enjoys going to his lessons. What I appreciate most about the MVSS is the quality of the instructors and the strength and structure of their program. My children are learning important swim techniques, not just survival skills. As a former swimmer, I can honestly say that there's nothing comparable and I would not hesitate recommending MVSS to anyone looking for a solid swim program.

We absolutely LOVE the Nadadores swim school and summer swim program. Having been a swimmer in club, high school, and college, I'm not easily impressed with swim programs, but Nadadores is far and away the best program around. My son took lessons at a few other local schools and most of them were fine. Nadadores is special. The staff is enthusiastic and so on top of things. I've never had an issue with billing or scheduling. The coaches at both the school and summer swim league have been beyond outstanding. Extra big high-fives to Midori, Bennet, and Nicole who went above & beyond to help my son with his dives. Nadadores swim school prepares him for competitive club swim with true coaching (as opposed to instruction) from coaches who are swimmers themselves. My son goes into and comes out of every lesson and every practice with a huge smile on his face. He feels confident in the water and has a great time. We are so glad to be a part of the Nadadores family!

Had my kids for 3 lessons and soon figured out not a place to get kids swimming lessons. Overpriced, billing errors, no call back and horrible communication. I have told multiple times, kids need help with two particular stokes but coaches were doing ever except those two strokes. Told office few times, got told "yeah we hear you, sorry about that" and same thing continues. Their swim teams and practice might be good but lesson or swim school is not upto par. Would suggest hire a private instructor and it will be worth rime and money.

My son has been with Nadadores for about 8 months. At first I loved it. He has had wonderful coaches. Ever since the large turn over of staff, I couldn't be more disappointed with how it is run. I was completely overcharged numerous times. Instead of refunding the last charge mistake, Gaby had me use the overcharged classes as make ups. My son was put with random instructors and in semi private classes when I had paid for privates. I pointed out to Gaby that during the semi private the instructor had no clue he had jumped off the platform BEHIND her. Gaby's response was "at least he's lifting his head to breath and there is a pool guard". My son is 3! If I wanted him to be in the pool doing whatever he wanted, I would take him to the community pool for free. I was trying to continue since I love coach Laura, but I can't. We are officially done.
