We make a Chicago'ish Dog, with peppers and seasoned salt, but the relish isnt the bright green as in the original. Come give us a try.

The staff and people are always pleasant and real nice
I came In today and she was so nice to ask if I had a few minutes wait to have the hotdog fresh and heated to cook
I got the macaroni salad and my usual (Chicago-ish hotdog)
Perhaps I'll try a different one each visit
The place is chill, good music (playing oldies today) , and it's nice to have alone time to enjoy !!!

Hot dog restaurant if you're looking for a quick lunch or early dinner. They pretty much have hot dogs, sides, a few sweets, and different kinds of baked potatoes. The cashier here was really nice but was doing everything by herself, preparing food, order taking, and order transactions. Maybe she could get some help. Items ordered were primarily with chili add on which was not yet ready. I ended up waiting 20 minutes for my food but she did apologize and offer a complimentary drink for the wait time.

Although the woman upfront upfront was very nice I don't understand how hard it is to make a hotdog correctly. I asked for two cheese dogs with just cheese and mustard. I trusted this wasn't a hard request so I walked away to finish a text. Didn't notice the mistake until I got home. Don't eat at this place. The first time I went they were suppose to be closed at 4 and I was there at 3:30 and the lights were off. I asked if they were closed and she said yes almost. I told her I needed 4 hotdogs and she said they were out of hotdogs and she wasn't making more she gave me the last two polish dogs and locked the door after I left. Very poor service.

The hotdog I had was really good and the service was really fast. Whoever helped me was really nice and I think I would go here again. They seem to get here busy around lunchtime, but it was totally worth it.

MO's hotdogs are so good. My grandkids (6 of them) love Mo's.... Super friendly and always greeted by Nicole and her staff when you walk in the door.

Kudos: to MO's for keeping up the great quality of the dogs, buns, chili and fresh condiments.

Jul 5, 2017Previous reviewWhen you only have one main item at your restaurant, you need to get it right. Sac's has nailed it when it comes to hot dogs.
I first visited the original Sac's in Vallejo in 1985 and It's great to know that some things never change: Sac's still has the best hot dogs, at both locations, 32 years later.
The keys are quality hot dogs that have a "snap," steamed buns and fresh toppings, which include thinly shredded cheese, sliced tomato wedges (all bright red and firm), and freshly cut onions. Although I don't usually get chili, it's excellent, as well.
The service is friendly, helpful and efficient, as well.
My favorite is the cheese dog with yellow mustard and sliced tomatoes. Rather than melted, the cheese is piled on top and the trick is to make sure that you evenly redistribute the cheese after each bite, because what's great about the cheese, that is finely grated,and piled on, also makes it very mobile and essential that you reposition it after each bite to get the maximum cheesiness!- Alicia A.CA, CA03Jun 24, 2023

Cindy, I am sorry you had a bad experience at our shop. The team starts to close part of the dining room at 6:30 but we are open for orders til 7pm. If the doors were locked, then you are correct we have a problem and I will address it. Please let me know... MO
