Nice selection of items (albeit overpriced), but the shopping experience is extremely uncomfortable. The moment we stepped foot, an employee was tailing us. Felt eyes on our backs the whole time. You could say it's because the staff were trying to be attentive and see if you needed help, but in all honesty, it felt like we were being racially profiled lol. I did not see the East Asian customers in the shop getting the same tailing and staring treatment. We went in hoping to buy something (and liked many of their items despite how overpriced they were) but the sheer discomfort of it all made us want to leave expeditiously. I caught one of the employees staring at us and looked at them and they kept staring back LOL. What a shame, would be so much more popular if they didn't treat customers like thieves and heathens smh

This place never gets old to me. They have the cutest organizers here. They have things for everything you can imagine. My favorite are the sketchbooks and notebooks. They have the best planners and pens. I definitely recommend this place if you're looking for cute organizers and accessories.

Would I recommend? Definitely 10 out of 10. Will definitely be back! :)

This store is simply a joy to walk through, and we usually do walk to the card area at the end of the store. Toys and stuffed Asian figures are the specialty here. If you are a fan of Japanese film director Miyazacki, you will be hard pressed to walk out without a Totoro related figure or a river creature from Spirited Away. The staff here is always polite and friendly. The cards aren't cheap, but they are always utterly unique. Like the roast duck vendors on Main Street, this is a Flushing treasure.

Cute overpriced little shop. I had stopped by this shop last week and bought some cute presents. Service was great and they also do free gift wrapping if you spend over a certain amount.

Today I stopped by to pick out some last minute gifts with my brother. Everyone was very friendly except this one Asian employee with shoulder length dyed red hair. This particular employee was very nice to my brother and even handed him a basket to put his stuff in. Unfortunately, I was treated differently by her. I came for a certain merchandise that was displayed on one of the shelves in the middle aisle. It had a sign do not touch. I waited for someone to come but no one did. I decided to bring the two items to the cashier to let her know I would like to purchase it which I probably should've just went up to her and told her instead.

I grabbed it and was about to walk away until this employee came out of nowhere, yelled at me telling me to not touch. She grabbed it from me and told me again to not touch, word for word, I replied " okay, but I want to buy this". She just said okay, turn her head and rolled her eyes. I have never encountered anything like this. I understand it was my fault for touching it but this is not the way it should be handled. I saw her putting the items back and I had to ASK her, are you grabbing me new ones from the back? She didn't say anything but nodded her head slightly in annoyance. She could've nicely explained to me that she will be grabbing me new ones in the back. I waited by the cashier thinking that she was going to bring it there. No one came and then my brother came up. Apparently it was in HIS basket already. For your information, my brother was not the one that had requested for it nor the one purchasing it.

This small little shop is very cute and convenient for last minute overpriced gifts but service is a hit or miss based on the majority of the reviews here.

To the red haired employee: if you are going to roll your eyes, you definitely need more practice on hiding it from customers.

I've been coming to this store since high school to get gifts for friends or for the holidays and I can never resist stepping in whenever I pass by and see the huge character plushies sitting in the front windows. They have shelves overflowing with cute merch - stationary and school supplies, stuffed animals, gift baskets, household items, toys, and even a small clothes section. The quality can be hit-or-miss though. I remember the sticky note packs and notebooks are usually pretty good, while I once bought an embroidered pencil case and the stitching started to unravel only a few weeks later. While there's always a lot of things that look tempting to buy, the prices definitely bring me back to reality :/ Still, a really cute place to browse if you're ever in the heart of Flushing.

There's an employee tailing you throughout the entire time and it's very unnerving. Turned me off from purchasing anything. The selection is average. You can find similar stuff in other stores in Flushing.

What a super fun store! Morning Glory is a super popular Korean Brand and known for its iconic Blue Bear (Babu) character, equivalent to the Japanese Sanrio who's icon is Hello Kitty. I grew up with these stores back in the 80's and always love the Kawaii and cute-sy trinkets. How many stationary sets and pens can you have? The answer is LOTS.

This store carries a slew of items from these cute trendy brands - BT21 (from the LINE brand), Sanrio, San-X Rilakkuma, Sumikko Gurashi and Gudetama items. I spent a full 30 minutes perusing and $60 later, I left with a shopping bag full of goodies.

There is a beauty counter just to the right when you walk in (which I totally skipped over). On the left and to the rear of the store you'll see all the characters I mentioned and more. The fun stuff first - plushies and more plushies. Then there's backpacks, stationary items, home goods and decor, toys, and more whimsical trinkets. It's just a fun store overall. Lots to see and plenty of things for gift giving especially for kids or "Big" Kids like me. LOL

Credit cards accepted so splurge away.

If you come to flushing, check this place out! It's better than the daiso at the mall (by a lot). Without a doubt you'll be able to find at least ONE thing here that you find adorable. My friend and I always get tricked buying something every visit.

This time I got a bean sprout pen and a notebook. My friend got stickers and a few pens too. So many tempting purchases for another time.

I love this store. Has been my go to stationery store since I was little. Honestly have probably been going here for at least over a decade. They have a decent selection and everything is cute. HOWEVER I am sorry to say that there are better prices at other locations. (There's an artbox that opened up in great neck with cheaper won to usd price conversions)
That being said for the location and convenience of access this is the best you can find for cute stationery in flushing :)
