Outstanding. Chuck has been repairing our dryers,clippers and blades for years and they always come back to us like they are brand new.
Even thou their space is small, their customer service is huge and he carries everything we need at really great prices. Should anything break at your shop and you need it replaced immediately, Midwest Grooming is the place to call.

I am not a groomer but bought a clipper for my cats...groomers are so expensive!! The blade was dull and wasn't working properly. It was quite a drive there as there are not many grooming repair shops. The owner was so responsive and prioritized my repair knowing how far I traveled. His prices are super reasonable and he is great to work with, so knowledgeable!! And such a nice guy, I highly recommend him to anyone needing help with their clippers. Note that the storefront is a little hard to see from the street look towards the back of the storefronts.

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE & SERVICE. The owner sent me wrong item & then started arguing with me about how it wasn't his mistake! Yelling over about paying return postage on an $11.25 item!!! Save yourself the aggravation & buy your grooming supplies elsewhere!

Great place. My scissors always come back very well sharpened and last for a long time. Chuck is always very accommodating.

I love chuck and I am a loyal customer for life. Everyone at my salon uses him. His sharpening kills are excellent and he always has a quick turn around. I would recommend him to anyone.

I live in Chicago and I drive out to midwest grooming when I need supplies in a pinch! Chucks store is a lifesaver! He's always been super nice to me as well. I ordered tables for my shop and they were cheaper than anywhere I could find online. Plus you don't have to pay the shipping fees! Chuck delivered the tables to my store and helped he set them up. I am going out this week to get some dryers fixed and pick up some tools.
Stopping in I have also been introduced to the newest grooming tools. Screw petedge or ryans, the shipping alone is a rip off!

I used them for the first time last September. I needed by blades and scissors sharpened and I was going on vacation for 7 days and I figured this was the best time. I sent in my stuff at least 7 blades and 5 scissors with a note attached if I could please have them back by the time my vacation was over within the 7days that would be great. I got home and my blades/scissors were waiting for me.
They were cleaned and sharp! Very good!

I agree with the other review the hours are a little short and I too drove there once a long time ago, during business hours and they were not there. So I understand that frustration. But the service they provided for me recently was very good.

Today I am actually ordering a new pair of scissors, I have had mine since 2005 I think I can get an updated pair. I will update my review. I will be buying their brand scissors, since they refund within 7 days if I do not like them. And the price is good.

I Placed the order Friday early afternoon and it shipped the same day. I live locally and I did not pay extra for expedited shipping, but I got it the next day, Saturday! I used the scissors Saturday and Monday and I love them. The heavy duty clamp I ordered as well is awesome, my other 3 that I have all move on me especially with a big dog on that table. Those clamps came with the grooming arms I purchased through PetEdge. Paying 50.00 for a clamp I thought I never would, until now I was desperate I needed to save my table from damage and Im happy I got it.

They're stuffs are very over priced. Small place, owner is rude. Dont waste your time and money here. I wont be coming here ever again.
