Called for a quote and was greeted by a freindly voice not a machine. They offered me a great quote and explained the difference between the coverage I had now and the coverage I needed. I am now covered correctly and paying less than before. Thank You Copeland!

On the evening of April 21st 2015 my friend backed my car out of his driveway and backed into a gas meter. It did an estimated damage of $1,281.70 worth of damage to my car. When he contacted his insurance agency Lisa Copeland Insurance with Nationwide said that the insurance goes with the car and they weren't going to pay the claim. They said I must first contact my insurance company State Farm, and have them pay it and submit the claim back to them for payment. When I contacted State Farm they said it would go on my insurance as an accident and my insurance would go up and I would have to pay a $500.00 deductible and it would go against me for three years. The adjuster Pamela Gentzler in Iowa was VERY curt and rude when speaking to me, pretty much told me that was the way it was and tough if I didn't agree. The Lisa Copeland agency was nicer, but said the same thing.

My three year Nationwide automobile policy went up three years in a row, and when I would call to ask why every six months, I got the same BS answer about how everyone's insurance went up... it was the State of Texas that was at fault... you had a claim on your vehicle two years ago... Melissa never returned my phone calls--just let me leave messages that were ignored. I would send E-Mails via their website only to get those ignored, too. Why would I pay $1300.00 per year for a 2012 Challenger with under 20,000 miles on the odometer, that I hardly ever drive, that stays inside my locked garage 99.5% of the time. Once I dumped their insurance and went to Esurance, I got a friendly call leaving me a message asking me to call their office and discuss my reasons for leaving Nationwide. It's because they are NEVER on your side.

I'm sorry you feel this way. Our clients generally experience a better outcome with our agency. Thank you for your input though on how we could listen better.

Nationwide is on my side. The staff there are friendly and helpful. It looked like only females worked in this office. lol
