The worst Pas See Eew I have ever had. Soggy flavorless noodles. I should have read the reviews before ordering on DoorDash. I are a few bites and threw out the rest.

The service is impeccable. Atmosphere is very pleasant good for kids too. The Food- all I can say is WOW! I lived in Thailand years ago and I can say that it was as close to the real deal as possible. Do yourself a favor and try this place I was surprised most Thai restaurants today don't speak Thai but this the real deal I greet them in Thai and they replied in Thai. You really need to experience this place. Sorry they don't have 6 stars.

I think all owners should sit for a meal at their own restaurants. And truly taste the food going out of their establishment. Because perhaps they forget what it's like to be the customer.

Such great food, I never go wrong when I come here. The gentleman behind the counter is always so pleasant and welcoming. You feel at home with how warm he is. The place is dimly lit, with a lot of space and it feels almost like you're walking into a classic movie scene for what you expect a Thai restaurant to look and feel like. The food is great quality, you can tell there's pride behind the food being passed out of that kitchen window. You can taste the QUALITY ingredients that make up their dishes and they're open late! They're one of the only Thai restaurants open this late in the city and that alone makes them deserve your business.

My boyfriend and I found this gem in Beverlywood and had such a wonderful time! Right when we sat down my boyfriend said to me "I feel like I am at someone's house about to have a home cooked meal. The food is delicious and tastes authentic to Thailand. Paul the owner told us his wife was cooking in the kitchen so no wonder we had the experience we did! If you are in a huge hurry and an irrational person who doesn't like to wait a little. I suggest to order online first , but if you want to enjoy a nice meal, relax, and share some laughs with Paul then you will be overly pleased to eat here!! Thank you again Paul and Wifey. See you soon!!!

*Yelp's Thank You Thursdays*
Thank Paul & Melanee Thai. You're always there & here when I need & needed you. And I'm truly grateful.
You're always extremely kind, considerate & professional and you continue to show genuine gratitude to me and all your customers. You're also some of the hardest working people I've ever known.
Your lunch specials are all delicious, plentiful and reasonably priced.
You offer a wide variety of Authentic Thai food and what I call "Paul's Americanized unique spin on creative Thai cuisine."
Your steamed fish & veggies is one of the best and still one of my favorite quick go-to meals whenever I don't feel like cooking or tired of eating the same ole foods from my daily rotation.
Every friend & family member I've taken here, and everyone I've recommended, all enjoyed their meals and returned for repeat dining experiences.
Even though I'm not usually awake & hungry after midnight, you provide a necessary & great service with staying open until 2am for those night owls - too bad we didn't know each other back in my night owl days :)
Thanks again for being a true gentleman & restauranteur. The neighborhood & regular customers appreciate you so much. As I do too.Helpful 6Thanks 0Love this 5Oh no 0Aug 31, 2022Previous review*NOW OPEN UNTIL 2AM*
What is there to say, that I haven't already raved, about Paul & Melanee Thai.
Thank god for him and being open so late, because I really needed some plain steamed rice to settle my stomach.
They're now open until 2am which is great - even though I'm usually asleep at that time.
Please...give this place a try because Paul & his wife are tireless working hard to support their family. Everything I've ever ordered & eaten is fresh, piping hot, delicious, and just as good the next day if there's leftovers - or as my grandmother says: "plannedOvers" :)
I've been a regular here for several years, and as you will see & read from my previous reviews, Paul is a godsend & saint, genuinely cares about all his customers, and greatly appreciates our business - even when it's just some plain steamed rice & noodles.
They also offer a wide variety of lunch specials that are reasonably priced.
But wait, there's more: 10% off your entire order through Yelp if you unlock the offer.Mar 6, 2020Previous reviewPaul is godsend and Saint there is a reason why Melanee Thai has been here for 25 years. There's nothing more I could say & convey that I haven't already other than...Paul & Melanee Thai is like a fine bottle wine - they keep getting better & better over time. Thank you Paul for being a one of a kind gentleman & restauranteur.
This review is long overdo...
Back in late January, I suffered a horrible injury & had major surgery that left me unable to drive nor shop/cook/prepare meals for months. And thank goodness for Paul and Melanee Thai.
I live nearby and been here before, but not like lately - at least 20x (mostly takeout & a few dine-in's) within the past few months. Not only is Paul (and the female cook) a master chef, he is kind and always asks how I am doing & feeling because it is/was obvious I only had use of one arm. And even though I'm now a regular customer and he knows my name, he still insists on calling me Sir :)
Without trying to defend some of the negative yelp reviews I've seen & read, I'd like to say this...Thai Food is different everywhere you go...and Paul skillfully has a broad selection of Authentic Thai and Street Food, Americanized Thai, and what I like to call, Paul's Creative Spin on Food Period.
I've never had a bad meal and everything is always fresh, hot, packaged securely, and ready on time. And if for some reason you have to wait a little longer? It's because it's all freshly prepared once you order in a healthy manner, inside in very comfortable setting.
Some of my favs are:
STEAMED FISH = omg the best and large portion...and I'm pretty sure Paul refers to me as the steamed fish guy because I've ordered it so many times.
Garlic Noodles with Crab Meat: excellent!
Garlic Chicken: sweet & garlicky and not salty nor oily.
Bangkok Noodles (Pad Se U) delicious
Yum Ya Salad: I've had a Yum Ya from almost every Thai place in LA that still serves it - and this one is the BEST I've even had. They do things to their's that I've never seen...such as: they lightly fry a split hard boiled egg (instead of egg slices) and they use romaine & mixed greens opposed to everyone else using just iceberg lettuce; that contains no nutrients whatsoever, and it cause the salad to be watery.
Here's a little tip: if you order Spring Rolls for takeout, sometimes the steam inside packaging makes them a little soggy once you're ready to eat...so heat em up in the oven and they're just like new - fantastic & piping hot like when dining in.
Thank you Paul and Melanee Thai for assisting me with my recovery. And I'll be seeing you very soon :)Jun 14, 2018Previous reviewThis review is long overdo...

Open until 2am, clear vegan options, and a chef who is actually from Thailand practicing his craft in the kitchen for decades, say no more. Wanted to order vegan take out to ensure they do not use fish oyster sauce, egg, meat, shrimp oil etc. Kind man answered the phone with so much positivity I had to place an order. Huge portions, wow. Ordered Pad Thai with vegetables (broccoli, carrots, sprouts, green onion), no peanuts. Half thin rice noodles, half pad see ew flat rice noodles. There was a different orange color in noodles which I'm not normally used to, but I believe it's from tamarind/paprika/light chili pepper like sriracha without brown colored oyster sauces etc. Chef Paul is amazing and really cares about customer needs. If you order through DoorDash or delivery services, just specify in your notes! I called in advance to be sure and they will pay attention to your instructions if you have allergies. Thank you for a great and loving Pad Thai experience!

Such a great hole in the wall restaurant that's been in the same location for many years. Food is consistent, portion is generous, and the service is very nice.
