Very quirky layout that changes constantly. Grocery section is frustrating and doesn't progress to the next logical section well. Clean store just an odd layout. Love Meijer but this layout is not our favorite. Much prefer the Cascade Meijer.

Being from Florida I have never seen this brand . I would say it's a cross between a Publix and Target . You could get anything at this location. From made sushi to bedding.

This review is for the bakery.
I ordered a 2-tiered wedding cake (minus all normal decorations...we personalized it later) from this location plus 7 dozen (?) cupcakes for our daughter's wedding reception downtown.
The bakery manager (sorry, can't remember her name) was amazing and assured me that my instructions for the cake/cupcakes would be correct.
They were and the cake was SO yummy. I was beyond thrilled.
Thank you so much for a great transaction!!
I'd order from them again in a heartbeatHelpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Nov 17, 2022
A quick 2 minute drive from work, this has been my go-to Meijer for years.
Compared to other Meijers in the area, it's clean, safe, large, and has the widest variety of items.
I really enjoy their fresh section. You can usually find good in-season produce, and they have all kinds of pre-chopped vegetables, shredded chicken, fresh baked bread, etc if you're looking to shorten your cooking prep time.
I love that it's a one-stop shop if you need a wide variety of things like home and lawn maintenance, groceries, toiletries, and gifts.
The main issue I have with them is that they are VERY frequently out of stock of the items I need. Their bread selection is usually very picked over, and they do not restock the fresh or shelved items as frequently as they need to.
Overall, given the options in the area I'll definitely keep them at the top of my list.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Steven H.Grand Rapids Charter Township, MI044Nov 19, 2023
Probably the worst experience I have ever had at a Meijer. On the Sunday morning before Thanksgiving and it is very busy and they only had two checkout lanes open, both of which had more than 5 people waiting in each. A woman was standing at a lane without a light on, doing nothing, and got incredibly rude when asked if she was open. She was so rude to me that another customer told her that she should be nicer. Then, when I finally got to checkout, the checkout person insisted I put the bigger items in the cart. I explained that I was handicapped and it was hard for me to maneuver the items over the side where they put the item and they just rolled their eyes at me. I honestly almost walked away from the cart at that point.
After I was check and loaded my car, I was putting my cart into the labeled cart corral and the employee who was gathering carts told me I had to bring the cart over to them. She was about 30 or 40 ft farther from the corral. I told her I was handicapped and not going to bring the cart over. I got in my car and she came over to my car and was trying to get my attention, telling me I had to bring the cart to her.
Pretty disgusting behavior from multiple employees.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Tabitha R.Oacoma, SD3104Dec 21, 2022
Clean, bright, though I do like how they seem to dim the lights during dark hours so going in and out isn't so jarring. Friendly employees for the most part. Morning hours usually has a good amount of registers with people, though afternoon shifts should consider adding a couple more.
I had a rough time there the other day, bank troubles and mysterious PINs, but the cashier helping me was so patient and kind while we figured out which one of my cards was the one with the money. The kindness of her and the bagger really helped me from having a full on panic attack and crying in public. So I am eternally grateful for that.
I also like the parking lot. Comfortable to drive through.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Clifford G.Grand Rapids, MI230Feb 17, 2023

This is my go-to Supermarket in Grand Rapids. I shop here on a regular basis and my experiences have been consistent and positive. This store has it all- from fresh produce, a super efficient pharmacy, to Blue Buffalo dog food, fancy cheeses, champagne, fresh meat and fish, to home goods, toys, and electronics. One stop shopping at its finest.
They have so much variety, it's almost overwhelming. I recommend shopping in the mornings, or after 7pm at night. This is a busy store so in order to avoid the rush its best to come when they aren't so packed. Weekend afternoons are usually the busiest time in the stores.
The aisles are always clean, the shelves are well stocked, the cashiers are personable, and the carts work great! I love shopping here.
Meijer is open 24/7 including all holidays except Christmas Day. They never let me down and I always stop here for last minute cards, gifts, or flowers as well as my regular grocery runs. The best part about Meijer? You don't have to spend an arm and a leg to get super high quality products.
They stand true to the motto: Higher Standards, Lower Prices.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Payton P.Grand Rapids, MI010Jan 6, 2023
The night shift manager, Greg is hands down the most helpful and awesome worker at any store I've ever met. 10/10 service and attitude. Someone seriously needs to make that guy district manager. You'd be doing your company a huge favor.
