Came in here for a business coffee meet. The place is great! The staff is friendly and the coffee drinks are amazing. I also had a margarita toasted Sammy and it was delicious.
We had actually googled it and the directions on google are horrible. Just know that it is next door to the Qdoba. It's kind of tricky to see.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Jain K.Seattle, WA4982235Jan 23, 2016
A cute, comfortable little coffee shop!
So this morning I wanted to get a breakfast+coffee while finishing up some work, so I first tried to go to poverty bay and it was just way too busy and crowded over there.. I lived in federal way for like 15 years, and I've always passed this place but today I was in desperate need of a place to get coffee and study so I finally came here and what a great decision it was!!!
I called ahead of time to see if they had a table available (and they did!). Baristas are incredibly sweet with great service.
There's not that much space or tables in here, but it never seems to crowd or get super loud, so it's a great place to get your work done or have a little coffee date.
Food: Coffee's great here, but the food is okay. I ordered the cheese, egg and ham bagel sandwich and it was pretty plain. Still good tho! My boyfriend got the banana bread and it was pretty plain too, nothing too extravagant.
I'm so surprised that this is my first time, but I will definitely be coming here more often!! Sorry it took so long!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Phyllis F.Seattle, WA40176100Jan 12, 2017
I have been coming to this shop consistently every morning this week. I have been taking a different route to work so it has been convenient.
The pricing is a little more than I am used to, but the level of great customer service received makes it worth it.
The place on the inside is warm, cozy and welcoming. They open early which is a huge plus for those who have to head to work really early. My drinks have been consistent even though a different person makes it each time. They have a large selection of food items which are also a bit overpriced. I recommend this coffee shop for coffee lovers looking for a great cup of coffee from wonderful baristas!Helpful 5Thanks 0Love this 4Oh no 0 - Cindee H.Federal Way, WA06May 12, 2020
They sold my daughter a $25.00 gift card- she gave to me for Christmas. They forgot to tell her they were going out of business soon- So whoever she would be gifting the card to- should use it fast!
Never got to use the card. When I went there, the place had already closed. Wasn't expecting that. So they got her money but we didn't get any coffee!
Is that a MORAL thing to do?Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Jesse P.Federal Way, WA6191Apr 14, 2017
I love this place. This is my favorite coffee shop in the area. The baristas are always very helpful and polite and they even try their best to remember my order, which is difficult because I'm an infrequent patron.
The coffee shop itself is small and cozy. It's a good place to just sit and relax and pass the time or meet a friend. Their drive thru service is great as well. They have free WiFi and the music volume isn't overpowering like it is in some coffee shops.
And the biggest bonus of all, free refill on their drip coffee. Gotta love that.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Jun 28, 2014
Finally gave this place a try and I regret not coming in sooner. I've driven by many times when I get gas at Safeway and I think to myself, 'I should go in there because I love Tully's coffee'. Anyways they were busy this morning, lots of customers coming inside and in the drive thru. The 3 gals working today were very efficient. There's a good selection of pastries. I shall return to try their 'Train' drinks and smoothies!

AMAZING coffee, great atmosphere. They're super quick at making drinks and they also have a drive through! :) Haven't had any of the baked goods yet but so far it all looks good! :) would definitely recommend to anyone!
Just a small warning. It is a small place, so a few people may make it feel packed but it's very calming inside with a wonderful coffee house feel!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Melia R.Tacoma, WA135199Mar 13, 2016
Decent coffee and assortment of non coffee drinks, also love the convenience of a drive thru that isn't Starbucks. 3/5 stars simply because of the service I've had every time I have visited this place. Every experience was through their drive thru and each barista has sounded incredibly inconvenienced by a question regarding a drink. Their customer service can definitely use some improvement from drive thru to the delivery window.
I've worked customer service and as a barista in the past for years and I know attitude and even smiles go a long way in any customer service related job.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Olimpia A.Puyallup, WA236820May 21, 2018
Used the drive thru- no long wait. Ordered 20 oz cappuccino skinny, sugar free toffee nut-- it was very delicious & not scolding hot. The almond croissant was very moist & soft. I'm definitely going back & saving my money &time.

After weeks of searching for the perfect study spot, I found it. So stay away because it's mine! (Only joking but today I had to wait for a spot to sit so I'm already regretting telling you they are so great) The espresso is delicious and the crew is friendly and kind (especially the morning crew). I love the atmosphere! As a long time student and participator of coffee shop studying, this is actually my favorite ever.
