Loved this Doctor!!! he is the best! if you want any kind of procedure done he is the man. Love the office and staff! I would recommend Dr. Zimbler to anyone any age or any procedure.

Awful! My nose is crooked, bigger than when I went in if that is possible and upper bleph, eyes are now 2 different sizes and crease too high! Awful job, I would never, ever see Dr. Zimbler again, not worth taking the risk. And he's not that friendly either.

This office has abominable customer service.

Dr. Zimbler himself is informed and skilled, personally I found him mildly dismissive and lacking in empathy, but you can't always get a home run with personalities. Pluses: his office is clean and beautiful, and I'm sure he's very skilled/talented as he came highly recommended. I can't speak to his abilities because he decided not to perform on my scar, but the misunderstanding I had with their billing department was the issue...

Sadly, the front desk is operated by a kind and courteous woman named Francesca, but the office manager Jenna is among the more demoralizing, patronizing people I've ever dealt with in medical profession. She claims to be "direct" but in my experience she is simply rude. When she picked up the phone she sighed deeply like she had no time for me, and it all went downhill from there.

For me, anything medical requires the utmost care and compassion, and this experience left me in tears. If you need help with something as profound as healing a facial scar, why would you elect to put yourself in the path of human beings lacking in the basic skills of pleasant customer service, let ALONE a little compassion.

I'm sure Jenna feels she was perfectly professional. I respectfully disagree. Dr Zimbler, your office and your skills I'm sure deserve better. I will not be returning to find out--and neither should any of you.

Nearly 10 years ago now, I had the great fortune of landing in Dr. Zimbler's office for a mole removal on my ear, requiring otoplasty. I was terrified because the surgery involved skin graft reconstruction -- I honestly did not want to go through with it but I had no choice, as the mole was precancerous. Both my dermatologist AND the excellent plastic surgeon to whom they recommended me were reluctant to operate due to the delicacy of the procedure, and I was subsequently referred to Dr. Zimbler. Dr. Zimbler is an expert. My ear looks completely normal now, even 10 years after the surgery, which feels miraculous to me because he had to reconstruct the outside of it. I would not normally share such a personal story over Yelp, but after 10 years I am STILL grateful for this incredible surgeon. He is wonderful. Thank you, Dr. Zimbler!

I had a rhinoplasty done by Dr. Zimbler August 2016

He was incredibly nice and very professional and listened to my concerns. I was always self conscious of the tip of my nose because of its size and Dr. Zimbler expressed he would be able to reduce the size about 30% but would certainly get the job done. Months later, I couldn't be happier with the results. The moment he had taken the cast off I could see the difference and was extremely happy with the results.

I have two friends and a family member Dr.Zimbler operated on. I'm also a patient of Dr Zimbler. I can say without hesitation, I have never seen such natural work-
He's not only one of the most skilled surgeons around, he is an artist. He is in a league of his own-
Jenna, the office manager is a little rough around the edges, however she's very effective when dealing with insurance companies- If you need a little extra TLC ask for Francesca.

I had a facelift with Dr. Zimbler eleven years ago and it was the best decision I ever made. He specializes in giving you the most natural looking faces, noses, etc. with none of those tightly pulled looks that scream plastic surgery. All you have to do is look at the before and after photos on his website and you won't have to look any further. You will have found your dream surgeon.

I saw Dr. Zimbler to remove a small cyst on my scalp (lovely, I know) and to have a mole removed on my face. I have several of the latter and was having Dr. Zimbler do the tiniest, least-noticeable one first as a test before doing others. He's in a swank office with lots of accolades in magazines and so figured I'd pay top dollar but be assured of top-notch care.

Dr. Zimbler removed the cyst effectively (though the area was only vaguely numbed so I could feel the tugging and I could see what he was doing in the reflection of the painting on the wall, which left me a bit queasy). After healing (several weeks with a bandaid on my face, whee), the mole looked no different than before I'd gone in. I had a follow-up appointment at which Dr. Zimbler agreed the mole was still fully there and said he'd be happy to fix it.

About the same time I had moved away from NYC, so I called to book an appointment to have the results corrected at a time when I planned to be back in the City for work for a day or two. I adjusted my flights to meet the Dr.'s schedule and confirmed several times by phone and in writing that since I live on the other side of the country I needed to ensure the procedure was done at that next appointment rather than just have another follow-up consult. I also confirmed by phone that I would not be charged since Dr. Zimbler was correcting work that wasn't done correctly the first time.

Showed up, saw the doctor again, was told they weren't prepared to do the procedure that day and I'd have to come back. Frustrated, I rescheduled almost a year later when back in town. Procedure was completed with better results. Then I received notice of payment due. I got in touch to clarify I shouldn't be charged and was told if I didn't have anything in writing there was no proof I'd been told I wouldn't be charged. Lesson learned.

They said they'd bill my insurance and then bill me for any remaining costs. I then received another bill for the full amount and emailed to inquire. The response:

"If we just spoke, and you just received a bill, one would assume they
crossed in the mail.

I replied and asked to talk to the doctor directly but received no response. I'm paying the amount owed and I think Dr. Zimbler is probably a good doc who just didn't get things right first time around on this one case. However, his office staff turned what could have been a "no biggie" correction and a potentially-happy patient into a frustrating, rude experience.

I just talked with the lady who picked up the phone this morning. She said: 'since you're an out-of-state-patient it does not really make sense for you to have a scar removed here. If you were interested in rhinoplasty, a facelift or some other major thing, it would make sense for us to see you as a patient - but with scar-revision - jezz...find someone local'. Then she hung up on me.

My 17 year old daughter just had rhinoplasty- it is so natural and she doesn't stop getting compliments. Dr. Zimbler is not only a true professional but his disposition is wonderful as well. His entire staff was lovely as well, especially Jenna who worked wonders with my insurance company which was out of network. I would highly recommend Dr. Zimbler for any procedure- great results!

This is the first negative yelp review I've ever written.

I had my earring holes closed up by Dr. Zimbler in the fall of 2015 because over time, they became too large. After multiple visits because one ear didn't heal correctly, I had my ears re-pierced almost a full year later in 2016. It took me a good year to heal from the re-piercing bringing us to summer of 2017. Now in 2018, the earring holes are way too low only allowing me to wear studs although the purpose of the surgery was to be able to wear any earrings. The original issue is still here and has gotten worse because the hole is so low I still need to wear disc backings which are now very visible and not aesthetically pleasing. I can't wear regular ear backings because the holes are too low on my ear and they don't stay in.

I called Dr Zimbler's office today and spoke with Jenna who was unkind, unsympathetic and rude. She doesn't know any of the above because she wasn't interested in what my issues were. She accused me of interrupting her when she herself was doing all of the interrupting. No self awareness. All she cared about was that it was past their 1 year policy of seeing a patient for a procedure and charging me $150 to be seen by Dr. Zimbler for an issue with a procedure I already paid for. She referenced the fact that I visited Dr Zimbler 5 times without additional payment as if they had already done me a favor! The reason there were so many visits was because one of my ears didn't heal correctly, but again she didn't care to hear or want to know that. She wouldn't set up a call between Dr. Zimbler and me to discuss my case. Be a human being. It's not always what you say, but how you say it. The way I was treated today was the worst part of this whole situation.

All I can say is BIG MISTAKE (a la Julia Roberts in Pretty Woman)! I could have referred many people to this office and now will be sure to tell my story when asked.
