Lunch Box

I believe this is an extension owned by the same people at House of Bagels (I could be wrong though!)

They serve mostly sandwiches and hot dogs. I mostly come here for their hot dogs - there are very interesting topping choices, and most of them are really good (patron dog or hot-waiian are current my favs)! The only downside is that their hotdogs, while tasting decent, doesn't have natural casing and is on the non-crunchy side. I just wish they would let you have a choice there - I miss a good crunch on my hot dog!

There are a few seats at the place if you choose to eat there, and they mostly only open for lunch. I also don't think they are usually open on Sundays as they always look closed when I walk by - don't trust the Yelp opening hours! (I should really find out the actual hours and update it... or maybe you should ;)

Great lunch spot! Cute little spot on Laurel. The workers are super nice. I think this is the only place nearby (walking distance) with salads? I ordered the chinese chicken salad and they really load up on the ingredients! It is also right next to starbucks so you can use the wifi. Love it and will be back.

Ordered a Chicago Dog and a Hot Link. When I picked up my order I saw that they only gave me a Chicago dog. When I told them I was missing my Hot Link, they made one for me.

HOWEVER, what they did not tell me was that the Chicago dog was actually a frankendog consisting of a Hot Link with Chicago style toppings. I do not recommend this combo.

The sausages in both were inadequately heated and lukewarm. I hope they were otherwise fully cooked.

I'm not sure how this place has such a good average rating. The Dutch Crunch is perhaps the doughiest I've ever had. The ingredients all taste cheap -- fresh, but not delicious. It's not disgusting by any means, totally edible. But considering how many other options we have in the Bay Area, I won't be returning here.

The sandwiches and hot dogs here are simply amazing! You can never go wrong with the "heater sandwich"!
Also their Hot-waiian (hot dog) is to die for!!!!!

I had a amazing lunch there today. Ruben Dog, all beef dog, pastrami, Swiss, sauerkraut, 1,000 island, mic drop.

Go the Patron dog here because I miss those Sonorans I used to get in Chicago.

I'll see what's up with the Chicago dog next time!

Sandwiches are tasty and good quality. Solid place, nothing fancy, very little seating.

Stopped here on my lunch break. The service was quick and easy. I ordered two hot dogs. Each of my dogs were packed with flavor! I would definitely recommend the Chicago.

Highly recommend this little gem of a shop. I love what they sell; sandwiches, salads and hot dogs! Perfect place to go during lunch breaks!
