Authentic Italian Cuisine in a Casual, yet Hip setting. You will never believe what the place is like until you see it. The outside does not do justice of what to expect once you come inside. The friendly service and the great food will have you coming back time and time again. We have a great Happy Hour: $3 Domestic Beers $4 Imported Beers $5 House Wine & Rail Drink $6 Orange Crushes $8.00 Selected Appetizers

This is one of my favorite places, especially for special dinners. The food is always fabulous. The service is pleasant. Their special events are always top-notch.

I haven't been to Liberatore's for a long time. Was here for a family event and had the buffet. We had the salad, bruschetta, fried ravioli, penne pasta and chicken masala. I was super hungry since I didn't eat anything all day. Even though I was hungry, the food was bland. The chicken masala had too much sauce. We had the cannolis for dessert and I thought that was tasty and paired well with my cappuccino.
I thought our server was the best. She was on top of things and got our drink orders quickly while we were waiting for everyone to show up. She was always asking us if we needed anything and took our plates away when we were finished eating.
The ambiance was nice. This particular Liberatore's is two stories. It's a big restaurant and was surprised that it wasn't as crowded for dinner on a Sunday.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Trina T.Baltimore, MD51196502Dec 31, 2023
Went for a catered event and was pleasantly surprised about the taste and quality of the food. The restaurant was largely than expected. Will return to eat with my family.

Nestled in a shopping center in the retail heart of Bel Air, you'll find this gem of a restaurant, perfect for casual dining, an evening out with friends, cocktails and conversation, date night or a special occasion all at the same time.

We were seated rather quickly because the place was empty. Nothing spectacular about our dining experience. Server was attentive and friendly. The food was just ok and it didn't take long to arrive. We thought it was a little bland. Not very flavorful. And they serve instant mashed potatoes, which was disappointing. If you want some place super quiet for a quick meal, then this is your spot. As I stated, it was empty when we got there (only 3 other couples came after us). If you're looking for a party/ festive atmosphere, then don't waste your time. We probably won't be going back.

Arrived there at 1pm for lunch with 3 friends. We were able change our seating the tables were very small for 4 people. We ordered our drinks. The server didn't come back for 30 minutes to take our order.
The server apologized after we asked about our food. It took an hour for our food come out.
The food did not make us for the wait it was very bland and forgettable.
Will not be going back.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Erin H.Bel Air, MD041Jun 6, 2022
I hate to even write this review because I used to love this place. We've had quite a few family celebratory dinners here and it was a top 5 place for our date nights, but we haven't been since before the pandemic. I don't know if they're having hiring issues or a new manager or what? I try to give restaurants the benefit of the doubt but my experience this weekend was not great. There were two parties going on and, although there are party spaces, they are in no way private. It's all out in the open in a huge room with lots of wood. SO loud. On top of that, they had Italian music playing in the dining room and an acoustic guitar player in the bar - the mix of sounds was headache-inducing. I know I sound horribly picky but if I'm paying $100 for a meal I'd like to enjoy the atmosphere and hear my husband when he speaks.
Our server was obviously new and very sweet but very, very, very slow. We didn't get our drinks until we finished our appetizer. I had to ask for them a few times so they did give us our second round for free, which was nice. The food was eh... not nearly as good as I remember from a few years ago. We had the fried calamari which was rubbery and barely breaded. We were not asked our dipping sauce preference and forgot to request the Thai sauce we liked so we got marinara (I'll consider that our fault though they usually ask). I had the alfredo, which was okay though the sauce was kind of thin and the noodles a little too al dente. My husband had the lamb chops which he thought were very good. In my opinion, Enotria has much tastier pasta.
Needless to say I was pretty cranky when we left. The cherry on top was the outside waitress. It was impossible not to notice her as we walked past - she had on cut-off ripped jean shorts that literally showed her butt cheeks. Like, actual butt cheeks hanging out of the bottom. I'm not a prude by any means (I have a 20-yr-old daughter, I get it) but for work??? At what's supposed to be a decently nice restaurant??? Come on... I would have been sent home in a heartbeat back when I was a server. The clientele at this place includes a lot of older/elderly diners, I can't imagine what they thought. Even I would have been uncomfortable having that in my face every time she turned around, let alone how mortified my husband would have been!
Overall, this place is just not what it used to be. Pretty disappointing.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Margaret E.Bel Air, MD023Apr 15, 2023
Service is not very good. Waited 10min and then finally asked if someone was working. Manager at end of bar checking his phone. Happens a lot on early Saturday ended up leaving and going down the street. Hope it improves.

Sadly, the last time we were there about a month ago food was pretty terrible. Things were cold, just not to laboratory standards at all.
