I've had barbeque all across Texas, but this is by far one of the best I've ever been to. It was my first time to this location and right from the walk in I was greeted by a friendly man and was very patient with me and my friend (it was his first time having barbeque) and answered all our questions and even offered us samples of everything.
We both got the brisket and it was very tender and the flavor had a great smoky wood flavor. I forgot which wood..... I had potato salad and macaroni and cheese. The potato Salad was homemade, fresh, and it was a mustard based not a mayonnaise based which I love. The macaroni was good. My friend had deviled eggs and potato salad. I've never had deviled eggs, but I am so glad that I came here to try them. Because they were amazing.
For dessert we had the peach cobbler and pecan pie and they were both amazing. I love both but I have to say the pecan pie was better they were both sweet, but not to sweet to make you sick.
This was a great choice for lunch and I plan on visiting again.Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - David B.Burleson, TX736Feb 22, 2019
Having recently become Cleburnites , we happily discovered Leach Brothers BBQ . We have tried to other area places to mixed reviews but this place knocks it out if the park ! Everything we have tried has been exceptional . Where many places have generic or even purchased side dishes , theirs are home made and truly exceptional !
Couldn't give a higher rating but if I could I would . Check them out asap !Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Nicky T.Arlington, TX11213May 17, 2021
Ummm so does this place even open? I've stopped twice (both on Wednesday), well within opening business hours as stated on the door, and both times the doors were locked and I even tried calling the number on the door. But I guess everything happens for a reason, the first time we ended up getting bbq from hickory in kennedale and it was good. The second time we stopped by with no avail, we went to hard eight in burleson and that was amazing.

Their ribs fell off the bone. I would give them five stars for this. The service was not so great. I had special requests due to allergies and i heard our server muttering under her breath as she walked away with our order. It felt very condescending and I was disappointed as I read many reviews about how sweet the people here were, The pulled pork was fantastic. The turkey was extremely disappointing. I would ask for a little more patience and understanding for those of us who have to be careful about what we consume. Believe me, if I had my way I would not choose to have allergies that make it difficult to find good food and restaurants who are accommodating and tolerant.

Id really like to rate this place higher, simply because the male owner was so dang nice! The man takes pride in what he does and his establishment.
FOOD: The brisket was in the top 10 of what Ive had. Good flavor, fat ON(as it should be). Ham was great. Ribs had an unusual flavor (I think maybe they were "pepper crusted, which I do not care for), but after eating one I loved the other two!
BBQ sauce- not a fan. Only offer the base saucy which is sweet and I simply do not like sweet sauce. They have some other sauces to "mix in" with it to make it hotter, if youd like. It was ok, then. But fact is, good brisket does not require sauce. And I was only trying the sauce for giggles. The brisket was good by itself!
PRICE- expensive. I could not believe the price. While I am all about supporting local businesses, and paying for quality, Id just as soon go to Dicky's and save $5 for NEARLY as good bbq.
Ultimately, neat place. Passionate owner. Quality food. The price brought this review from a 4 to a 3.
$22-24 for a 3meat plate(that is not even "generous servings) and a soda is just too much.
But DEFINITELY better than Buffalo Creek BBQ(feel free to see my review on that one, as well).Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Geoff B.Rusk, TX1324117May 2, 2020
Dropped by today for some pickup BBQ. The owner was so friendly!!! Wife and I had an assortment of Ribs, brisket, links and veggies!!! We were kinda tired and asked if there was somewhere we could eat out of the sun. The owner told us we could eat out back, he had big shade trees and nice grass!!! It was awesome!!! Will try it again if we come to town!!!

By far the worse BBQ joint I've ever been to in TX. When I placed my order I asked the cashier if they had moist brisket because I'm not a fan of the flat end of the brisket which is the lean part of the brisket. She said that wouldn'the a problem and when she brought me my 2 meat plate I told her that wasn't what I ordered. She tells me well we had some moist brisket, but the cook chopped it up. You would think that they would do right to correct their mistake, but no not this place. She later came by and asked me do you not like the sausage and I said ma'am the food is cold and unfortunately the meal was ruined from the start. I guess when you hear the microwave going off constantly that's a good sign of a restaurant not serving fresh food. This place is a joke!

Brisket was tender, but not much flavor at all. Sausage was not worth ordering again. Pinto beans were ok, as was the Coleslaw. If you like good bbq like Pecan Lodge, skip this place.
