Landscape Plus

We made arrangements to meet at our house on Saturday morning. WE explained our design and he showed us color options for the stone and concrete and took measurements. He listened and provided good input along with design ideas and options.

He said he had a few jobs but would be available to do the job in the near term. He also said he would provide the quote by the next day, Sunday.

We had not received the quote by Monday so I contacted him and he said he would provide it by the end of the day. Well, it is now Thursday and no attempt to contact us in any way. Rude, rude, rude...

This lack of communication and curtesy by contractors is annoying and unnecessary. If you don't want or need the job just say so, I'm a big boy, I can handle it.

This is a long overdue review! Froi and his crew, Antonio & Salvador, were the absolute best. We contacted Froi and set-up our initial meet for the following Saturday. Froi was prompt, very professional and listened to what we wanted for our front & side yard. He also brought a book of different pavers, explained the cost differences for us & provided his guidance.

Once we decided that we were going to proceed, Froi took measurements and sent over initial CAD designs (our HOA requires this for approval before we can start) which made the process so easy! Once everything was approved from our HOA, we could start - Froi and his team came early every morning, worked so hard and cleaned up every day. Froi was communicative with me during the leveling process to ensure I was happy providing options (ex: adding a step since the leveling degree was so high). He also provided guidance on what types of lighting to buy as well as plants. His team was very patient with me as I was very particular with the plant placement and they planted them perfectly for me. Froi installed a drip system so our plants have been flourishing. We absolutely LOVE our yard and extremely happy that we went with Landscape Plus and we plan on using him again for future homes. :) :)

I highly recommend Landscape Plus. They demolished and replaced a damaged 26 ft concrete and stucco garden wall that, due to my Homeowners Association regulations, needed to be re-built to the same specifications as the original wall. They did an outstanding job at a very fair price. They are obviously very experienced and take pride in their work. The owner, Froilan Nunez, arranged the city permits and provided the specific drawings required by my Homeowners Association. He is a friendly, honest and ethical man who was on-site every day and was exceptionally easy to communicate with. He and his crew arrived on time every day, were respectful and kind to me, and cleaned up my yard every evening before they left. They even accommodated my very tight timeframe. They truly deserve this 5 star review.

Froy and his team transformed both our front and backyard.
We had a very 90's Arizona flagstone and river rock look going on in the front, and more flagstone with colored concrete in the back.
Slate now brings a more modern look both in ledger board around the garage door and planter. Slate tile lines our driveway as well.
The backyard has been brought back to life thanks to Froy. He was able to tile directly on top of our existing 25 year old concrete and flagstone. We were ecstatic to not have to tear out the old patio.
We originally wanted slate like the front, but Froy steered us to porcelain tile for the durability factor. We chose a grey tile with small accent tiles for the planter/pond. The monochromatic scheme makes the space appear larger than it actually is. It's so fresh and inviting now.

Froy was very easy to work with, and his prices are fair. He and his guys are punctual, kind and clean.
We had a couple hiccups, but Froy was quick to remedy them. We appreciate that. It's rare to find excellent customer service these days.
I highly recommend Landscape Plus!

My daughter and I were looking for a landscaper to do what is largely minor work in two patios of our town home. The old owners didn't do much and left us with debris to remove in front yard and two small interior and back patios (non functional drip watering system, electrical lines, old broken lights and more). We need sand, primer, paint on an old patio trellis/cover; replacing some uplifted old wood boards with wood-like tile; as well as taking out one concrete stair in front for my walker accessibility; and adding stucco and brick planter. Froiland came to look at the property twice and advised us he would do the job in only 3 days (Saturdays) for labor (he quoted that only) and materials ONLY. We were thrilled!! There were two items which he could not do, and was calling contractors for a quote (a new lattice wood enclosure for the AC unit and concrete stain slurry through patio back and front). In the meantime, we asked for a signed contract and copy of completion bond as well as sketch for our HOA. On a handshake deal, we went ahead and got the appropriate dig alert markings for the utilities lines and removal of concrete step. He did not send us a contract OR completion bond info, but Froi sent a sketch that was not what our HOA needed and did not follow up on costs of materials OR the two other contractor quotes. We called and emailed several times asking for those specifics BEFORE he started the work. The night before he said he was "passing on the job". He has left us in a lurch with our much needed improvements. Froi was personable, but he made promises he could not keep. Very disappointed.

Landscape Plus gave us a complete backyard transformation including pavers, planting, and a great outdoor kitchen. I can't say enough good things about Froi and his crew. From the estimate through completion of the job they were very thorough and professional. (Froi also recommended Renee French to design the project and she did a wonderful job!)
Froi and his team were here every day from start to finish, showing up at 7:00 like clockwork. They cleaned up as much as possible after each day, too.
We feel very lucky to have found Landscape Plus. We believe the pictures speak for themselves.

We have been procrastinating to give Froi and his team a great review for a long time ago.....Sorry, it's been over 2 years!!!
The bottom line is, Froi and his team are great! They transformed our backyard into something awesome! They came to our home, on time every single day and worked so hard! Although we took our time to decide the pavers and stones, Froi didn't make us rush but patiently gave us guidance and advice. I am so particular (picky) but they are all so patient. Whenever, an issue came up, they came back to fix it quickly! Thanks to them, our backyard is now beautiful and great for entertaining.

We just had our sunken and cracked driveway replaced with a better built concrete driveway. I'm very particular in getting into the technical details with contractors on how they are going to build and do things so I can ensure the job is performed per recommended practices and beyond so I can get a product that lasts and lasts, and to detect if a contractor will take shortcuts. I can tell you that this contractor did a phenomenal job and built this driveway perfectly and to last. We had trowelled expansion joints put in on the driveway and they are beautifully done with nice round corners, exceptionally straight lines, and at the proper depth. And the brushed finish on the surface was done to perfection. I won't get into the other technical details that are very important on constructing a lasting driveway but will say he covered and did the job just as I expected it to be built. Froilan, the owner, is very responsive on his calls and adheres to his schedule. On top of that, he is very friendly and is VERY ethical and hardworking and does it all for a fair price. He is easy to work with and will accommodate special requests...in my case, it was laying PVC sleeves under the driveway for future irrigation and electrical repairs before installing the frames, rebar, and roadbase. He has earned a permanent spot on my contractor's call list as he is top notch and is a person that won't nickel and dime you. He puts in a lot of personal pride in the work he does and wants it to be done right and directly supervises and works with his crew. After the job was done, I received A LOT of extremely positive comments from our neighbors and from the tenant who is living there about the top quality work that was performed and how clean they left the worksite each day. I am more than pleased to award Froilan 5 stars for his work, outstanding customer service, performance, knowledge, and results.

Froilan completed a backyard project recently for us. Froilan and his team did a phenomenal job. Froilan's team arrived early and worked hard to meet the timeframe which was very difficult to manage with all of the recent storms. Froilan is very responsive and professional. He is the best contractor I have ever worked with on any of our home projects. I definitely recommend him for any landscape project!!!

Froy is an amazing landscaper. He is a great communicator, employs talented people, and has an eye for design. I would recommend Landscape Plus to anyone. Froy will take great care of you!

Had Froy come over to check out our yard for a quote on a Monday. We were told we'd have the final quote Tuesday. We waited till Thursday and still nothing. When we called Thursday morning to check-in he told us he has been "tired" and to go with another company without even giving us a quote. Very unprofessional, not reliable or responsive and waste of time. Would not recommend.
