Lake Time Brewery

A neighbor of mine brought me an assorted 6-pack of Lake Time's brews. Each was uniquely delicious, but the Red Zeppelin was a fantastic red ale! Just the right amount of sweetness with a slightly hoppy kick. We will certainly be making a trip down to Clear Lake to see what this place is all about!

Good beers. Small house converted into small brewery, food truck on site always pretty good.

Cute little place that brews a diverse variety of beers. I stopped by mid-afternoon on a Saturday and found a steady flow of patrons. The taproom is in an old house, so it's not incredibly big, but makes for a tremendous atmosphere. There are a few different seating areas, including a small bar, which results in a cozy environment. They offer flights of 4 beers or the full 10 that they have on tap. I went with a 4-beer flight to try a few, and didn't have any misses. Oreo Speedwagon was the winner of my flight (as expected, as I've previously had it). The servers were inviting and friendly to everyone that came through the doors, and checked in on me just enough so that I felt taken care of.

Easily a five star rating. The beers are fresh off the tap. The location is nice. The service is accommodating and efficient. They serve hundreds and everyone feels well attended to.

Absolutely amazing brewery. Showed up at 4pm when they opened and the inside was packed by 5. We went with the 10 flight special, which is every beer that they have on tap. Additional beers are offered by the bottle but this way we got to try most of them. Usually one or three are disappointing when you go this route,but we enjoyed every single one!

I wish this beer wasn't only in clear lake IA!

Went in to support a local business, but was saddened to find that there was no mask mandate in the brewery, as well as the server wasn't wearing a mask. Due to the pandemic, I find this incredibly disappointing & we won't be returning.

Nice place. Really good beer, I had the stout. It was a beautiful day so the deck was nice otherwise not a lot of seating inside. Too bad it wasnt on the lake.

Stopped here on our way to Kansas City. Really glad we did. They had a really great beer selection and some unique options. I had the limited edition Pumpkin Spice Cappuccino Stout and tried the Octoberfest Vienna Lager, super flavorful and malty. Service was great. We drive to KC a lot so will definitely try this location again! They also sell six packs of most of their beer and have gluten free options!

The best beer they have is maybe average at best.

The building is cute, great location, but not conducive to a comfortable environment. Loud and very close quarters. The service most of the time has been shotty (unless we've been the only table there). Examples have included taking too long to serve or leaving me with an empty glass too long, while just being plain rude. I've also witnessed what I could assume to be a regular get smashed at the bar and then jump in the car upon departure - a business can be held liable for anything that may happen in that car. Shouldn't we all be good stewards of society?

It's unfortunate because Clear Lake could use a place like this but I cannot support, and not only for the less than mediocre service they provide, and questionable patrons.

I will also refuse to support because of an incompetent business owner and management.
