About the Business
Not your average Mexican food cart. We offer great tasting, fresh, and healthy Mexican food with a Pacific Northwest twist. We use quality ingredients to create delicious meals for large and small appetites. We specialize in Mexican brunch but have offerings for the not so early birds as well. Come try our signature "Osita Burrito" with handmade salsa, free range eggs, flavorful chorizo, Tillamook cheese, and fresh Pico de Gallo. Or try our tasty and addicting Love Bowl" made with avocado sauce, spinach, warm quinoa, black beans, chopped cucumber, bell peppers, salsa, cheese, Pico de Gallo and topped with sautéed shrimp or fresh avocado slices. We also serve a variety of refreshing and delicious smoothies and other guilt free snacks. Lastly we proudly serve Espresso with @proyectodiaz coffee beans. We love the great coffee in Portland and have created another place to get high quality coffee with beans from the best coffee producing regions in Mexico and Central America.

Great burritos. Very tasty. And the service was fast. Was able to stay in the car while I waited for food!

I've been to La Osiris before and remember really liking the food, but I went back yesterday and the meal knocked my socks off!
Let me start by saying I wanted everything on the menu. Their breakfast burritos look and sound incredible. Trying to be healthier, I ordered the Love Bowl and a mini quesadilla. I also got, to share with my friend at work who loves mochas, a Mexican mocha.
I know more about the drinks than the food, so let's start there. I walked over while my car was being serviced at Ron Tonkin. It is not close, but I was directed there by one of the agents at the shop. I still remember that first mocha - it was the flavors, which are so comforting and delicious. The cinnamon and whatever other magic they use in the kitchen makes such a good drink I'm thinking about it years later.
When my bowl arrived, I took it back to work before I opened it. Folks, I wish you could see it, but I was hungry, it looked beautiful, and so tasty, and so did right in. I had the shrimp and avocado topping. All the fresh veg, the perfectly cooked quinoa and beans, the loaded on spinach, and perfectly cooked shrimp came together in perfect harmony. I wanted to stop and save some for later, but couldn't. Not wouldn't, couldn't.
To make an amazing thing even better, all their containers and utensils are made of compostable material.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Apr 25, 2024
Such an incredible food cart! Love the carne asada burrito from here, but have also had their breakfast tacos and bowls. Love that their burritos have black beans and spinach in them, which makes them less heavy and greasy but still packed full of flavor! Coffee is a bit on the sweet side for me, but something you can easily ask for less sweet. It is in a bit of a small parking lot and it can be a bit difficult to find. I saw that they were planning on opening a brick and mortar which would be wonderful for this family owned business. Some of the best Mexican food on the eastside side hands down!

Perhaps the best burrito I've had in a LONG time?! This food truck is super hard to point out - it's just a black trailer in a small parking lot with no signs indicating what the place is called at all. There's only one single picnic table for people to eat, luckily our group was able to snag this just in time before the wave of people came.
I ordered the Osita burrito ($10.25) - it comes with eggs w/ chorizo, black beans, pico de gallo, pepper jack cheese, and sour cream. We were coming back from a hike and the burrito definitely brought my energy levels back up lol. The chorizo was flavorful and perfectly spiced, the cheese was oo'in and goo'in, and you could tell it was wrapped with care because it held itself together nicely!
The cashier was the sweetest person. She was super patient with us as we were taking our order since we were a larger group, and was very generous with the amount of salsa given to us when we asked.
I'd definitely come back during my next visit to Portland! The crispy taco options are also great, try the brunch taco!Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 3Oh no 0 - Jul 8, 2023
drove by this place as we were heading back to the airport and not much in Portland is open before 8am.
It's pretty hidden, the food truck is covered by a building and it's black, slightly hard to find.
Everything is made then and there, Expect it to be about 15 minutes as it can get crowded.
Osita chorizo Burrito: 5/5, I'm usually not a fan of chorizo but WOW, this might be the best I've ever had. Definitely a must try.
Breakfast tacos were ehhh okay, not something I'd get again.Helpful 6Thanks 0Love this 6Oh no 0 - Aug 2, 2023
Got the steak and eggs breakfast burrito and the carne asada burrito.
Loved that they toasted the tortilla to a beautiful crisp. You just gotta make sure you eat it fresh!
Great amount of filling. They actually include a good portion of meat in their burritos, instead of rice or bean fillers.
Totally non-descript- they're just in a black food truck. Apparently they'll be moving to a brick and mortar soon so they decided not to label the food truck. Where they are now, there's one picnic table seating area tucked in the pine tree.
Great service. They open early, so they're a good option for when you're trying to get to early morning hikes.
Really good food with a solid burrito that could fill a hungry pregnant woman.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Oct 12, 2022
Found this little gem via eater.com's "Where to Find a Real-Deal Breakfast" list.
The brunch taco and vegan taco were delicious, love the thin crispy (but not hard) shell. Also enjoyed the steak and egg burrito with pico, their most popular item. They offer three varieties of hot sauce.
The Mexican Mocha is one of the better, just hints of dark chocolate rather than overpowering.
The owner is very customer service oriented, very nice. Spanish speaking customers which is a good thing at a Mexican food cart. Prices are very fair.
It took me a few passes to find it as the cart is Black and somewhat hidden.Helpful 10Thanks 1Love this 9Oh no 0 - Jason T.Sherwood, OR533121Feb 3, 2024

This place rocks! The food is great, service is very friendly. Coffee is also great (specifically the latte). We had the osita burrito, steak and eggs burrito, and the Ronan bowl, and they were all great. There's definitely something special about this place, and I can say with full confidence that it deserves its 5 star rating.
