Another one of those meat markets with a taqueria. The tacos are a knockout. Also try the gorditas here. This taqueria also has a little bit of Salvadorean bits--Pupusas and Tamales de Elote. It's clean, quiet.. . the music is not blasting in store, which is a welcome occurrence. Oh. . and it's the honor system on ordering. Pay on your way out at the cashier.

The food and products sold in this place is the best, it's just the customer service that's bad. Almost every lady who works there quickly gets inpatient, they always give off a bad look on purpose. Today, the cashier was giving us attitude because of our type of payment and that's one of the many bad customer service experience we've had in this store.

This place seriously need to watch out on who they hire...

The barbacoa is legit. I haven't had anything else. The menudo looks good but haven't tried it. But their barbacoa is clean and very flavorful. It's my go to.

I went in earlier today for a torta and it was good, all things considered. The torta came to $6.48 with tax and all around I enjoyed it. The employees took my order in Spanish, which to me is a sign you're getting authentic food. The wait time was fairly short and the staff was friendly. The price was around normal for a torta in the Houston area. I would recommend here to others if they are in the area.

Definitely my Sunday go-to...pickup & go! Best barbacoa, tacos & pozole in the area. Prices are very reasonable. I would say bring your patience too... because the quality food here is no secret to the surrounding communities.

Every monrning on the way to work, I have been trying different places in search of the best bang-for-the-buck breakfast tacos. I have to say I like this place for a few different reasons which I will lay out for you, oh noble review reader. Their food is already hot; just tell them (or point if you don't speak Spanish) what you want, they roll it up, mark your paper bag, and send you to the cashier. They offer all sorts of choices- beef, chorizo and egg, chorizo and potato, just chorizo, egg and potato, egg and ham, refried beans, and several other options. I have to say, the beef is my favorite. The flavor lingers in my mouth until I arrive to work and get my first cup of coffee in me(I don't get coffee and La Guerrense because they dont have lids for the cups; if they did, I didn't see them, and I didn't want to complicate the matters of the language barrier by asking for one.). Also, the coffee wasn't that good the one time I did get it; too weak for my taste. Aside from the beef tacos, the potato and chorizo, and just the chorizo by itself were pretty awesome. If the beef wasn't so good, I would probably mix it up each time I went, but the beef is so tastey I cannot justify straying from it to have the others. On top of the taste, the price is excellent ($1.50 per taco) and the serving size is very generous. I will make this my regular spot for breakfast on North Fry Rd (at least until the new Panera Bread opens at 290 and Fry).
