Dr. Badger and her crew are so great! My kids have actually enjoyed going to the dentist the last couple of years. They are totally kid-friendly at every step. Definitely highly recommend!

This is actually called Hollywood children's dentistry located on 39th catty corner from the McDonald's.

They have a check in computer which makes it easy you don't have to talk to anybody if you don't want to. But The front desk ladies even the medical assistance & the dentist are extremely nice I was surprised!

I haven't had that much good customer service in years.

There's two parts to the dental visit first the kids go with the dental hygiene to get their teeth cleaned, pick out a toothbrush & toys. Then they go back to the waiting room to play and watch movies (they have theater seating) until the dentist is ready for the full exam.

She was very friendly as well

Amazing. This place is everything a children's dentist practice should be - fun waiting area, friendly staff (from the front desk to the hygienists to Dr. Badger herself), and a happy, kid-focused attitude that permeates the whole office. More than once they have managed to find time to see each of our small children with emergencies, even though they were already very busy. One hygienist in particular, who cleaned our 4-year-old daughter's teeth, was just magical. I sat in awe as she managed to put our daughter at ease and even make her laugh.

So glad we found this practice (and so close to our home!) after moving to Portland last summer. Highly recommended.

I just want to start out by thanking everyone at this place!!! I took my very scared 5 year old son here. Everyone was so amazing and made it a wonderful experience. I want to especially thank a very nice woman named Kayla!! She made my son feel so comfortable and calmed his nerves. She took the time to explain everything to him in an age appropriate way. When we left the dentist appointment my son was actually sad it was over and was asking me when he could go back and how soon!!!! All I have to say is thank you so very much. I already made appointments for his two older sisters

The best experience for my 2 year old. From booking the appt to checking in plus the cleaning and exam the staff at Hollywood Children's Dentistry were all wonderful. The hygienist was very patient, kid friendly, used good terminology and was personable. Dr Badger herself was kind and wonderful. Thorough in the discussion of my sons pacifier use and flouride intake. We felt they spent quality time with our son, who was very unsure initially about the visit. They give stickers and balloons and prizes too. My husband walked out and before we made it to the car he said "wow, what a great experience". Would highly recommend dr badger and her team!

Wow, these ladies are great!! I was a little nervous taking my son to the dentist (he's not quite 2, and is a bit of a handful) but thanks to the other Yelp reviews I decided to try Hollywood Children's Dentistry. My little guy loved it! The actual cleaning was not his favorite part - but we'll get there. I'm just glad that he was exposed to the office and the equipment and he can slowly get comfortable with going there every 6 months. But everyone we met there - the ladies at reception, the hygienist, and the dentist (we saw Sheena K. Kansal), were simply amazing. Very gentle and patient, and gave my son lots of smiles and lots of "prizes." The hygienist and dentist were both very helpful in giving me information I need to provide good dental hygiene for my son (we've been doing teeth brushing for a while, but the flossing has been a challenge, and they gave us some plastic animal flossers to help get him involved in the flossing activity). This office rocks.

The staff was very nice, the hygienist did a great job, made my son feel comfortable for his first visit. Everyone around was very friendly and helpful. The reason I give only 3 stars is the doctor. Very cold and unapproachable, didn't talk much to me, not too friendly towards my son. The whole visit, she was just telling the assistant all these dentestry terms, and at the end ,very brief talked to me, not explaining what she's gonna do and why, and took off. No, we are not going back there. I'm looking for a different dentist

This was not our favorite dental experience. The waiting room is a toy wonderland with a big screen TV, its true. However, the hygienists were stressed, rushed, impatient, and at times rude. The dentist herself saw us for five minutes and the cost was high! There were so many children being seen at once that I figured she's just trying to push people through. The dentist was personable, but we barely saw her and her staff was definitely not he best. Especially not for the price!

My daughter and I had a great experience. I have a 9 year old with severe allergies and high anxiety. They worked with our allergist to find numbing drugs she could use and walked us through every step of getting a crown for a broken tooth. The office staff, doctor and assistant were all fabulous. My daughter said she is no longer afraid of the dentist and that is after getting a crown!!!! They know how to speak in terms that make sense to kids and makes them comfortable. They didn't rush us or ever make us feel like our questions and nervousness were a bother. I highly recommend Dr. Badger and her team!
