KQ Restaurant

As someone visiting Oswego, it was difficult to find many Chinese restaurants. We ordered delivery, which was very fast and the phone service was pretty good.

The food itself was good as American Chinese food. I will note i enjoyed the sweet biscuits, but some people may not enjoy the taste of the oil (I believe that's what it was). But overall, will be ordering from there again when craving something different.

Hands down the BEST Chinese food in the area. Everything is made fresh, with quality ingredients. The owners are always there cooking and helping at the counter. Friendly and fast service.

I eat out often, with Chinese food being a favorite of mine. I would have given KQ five stars except for the inhospitable woman who is front and center at the counter. Although she works hard and is likely stressed, her demeanor is nonetheless toxic. She needs assistance, more breaks, or replacement altogether. I feel as if I'm imposing on her. Glad others noticed this as well.

I'm not sure I ate at the same restaurant that the previous reviewers ate at. The orange chicken was so hard I couldn't even put my fork in it. I couldn't see any chicken..just a hard mass. The sweet & sour chicken was cooked fresh so was ok. The combo meal is mostly rice. The egg roll was mediocre. I'll keep my business elsewhere. Thought I'd try.

Chicken was kinda chewy and had no flavor, typical storefront Chinese place. Nothing special but if you want some Chinese it's somewhere to go

I'm really happy that KQ has lasted for so long in Oswego. It will always have a special place in my heart, because it was the place I had my first real date when I was a teenager. But, memories aside KQ is also hands down the best Chinese food in Oswego. The food is all delicious, my favorite being the chicken or shrimp and broccoli with fried rice and pork egg roll. The people are also very friendly and as it is at any good establishment, they get to know their regulars and you get to know them. We send them a Christmas card every year and they usually send us a bamboo calendar. It is definitely a special place run by extraordinary people with real delicious Chinese cuisine.

I think this is one of the best Chinese Restaurants, I have ever eaten at. The food is really good. I just had the Vegetable Fried Rice it was really good.

The ONLY choice for high quality Chinese food the the area! I have been coming here for 15+ years. The place is always clean. The owners are always extremely polite and friendly, and most importantly, the food is excellent. The prices are about the same as other places, but the quality of the food is far superior to anyplace around

The food is decent, nothing stands out as amazing. This Chinese take-out is the only one in town that doesn't leave me ill after eating it. So...if that isn't a ringing endorsement then I don't know what is.

In all honesty, the food is good, and the family that runs it is very friendly. It was convenient to place an order then walk over to Price Chopper to do some grocery shopping. However, Price Chopper moved out of the plaza so you might as well bring a book or iPhone to entertain yourself while your food is prepared.

I wish they do delivery. Seems logical in a college town.

Also, the map for KQ on Yelp is wrong. It's located on the other side of town.

The only place in Oswego county I'll get Chinese food from! Fast service and always friendly! Best tasting food, reasonable prices.
