How can I use my gift cards? It doesn't allow me to pay online with my kenko sushi gift card.

Yes unfortunately our app doesn’t allow you to redeem gift cards. So what you can do is After ordering online with your card bring in the gift card when you pick up your food and we will redeem it for you:)

Here's the deal : this review is for take out only ! I've done take out orders via the app many times .. their sushi is delicious!! The inside has seating, but it's very plain . If you didn't know how good their food was the esthetics would make you think twice !
Great place for food! It's a goto in

Back for the first time since COVID and happy to see that Kenko has still got it!
When we we arrived, we were immediately seated which was a relief considering how long it used to take to get a table. Kenko was as cute as always, but the new set-up includes a "booth" area walled off by separators, which added cozy vibes.
Our K4 combo included complimentary miso soup, sushi, and dessert. We had the following rolls:
*Salmon Tartare - Addition of red onion, basil & capers added an interesting European twist, but half of an avocado sliced on top was too much for me.
*Devil's Ride - Great as always if not a little one note
* Fantastic - Inside was supposed to be eel, cucumber, and avocado, but turned out to be mostly avocado. Perhaps they ran out of cucumber?
* Loving You - Probably the most balanced roll, both in terms of flavor and proportion. Lemon added a nice zing.
We've ordered these rolls in the past and found it to be very avocado heavy this time around. Next time, I'd seek out some rolls that didn't include any avocado at all to balance it out.
For dessert, we received a mocha kakigori (shaved ice) to share. It's something we would not have thought to order, but really ended up liking! It was a light way to end the meal.
Service was quick (almost too quick) the entire time. Our servers didn't bother us much after bringing out the food, but were extremely observant to any requests, which is exactly the way it should be.
Overall, I'm really happy to have found this place again and excited to come back!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Liuqing W.New York, NY914Nov 4, 2023
The food is very good. 107 kinds of sushi rolls are amazing. I got crunch crunchy and fantastic both are very good. And two special rolls are enough for me.
The service is excellent and they gave us two things on the house. Very nice.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Jun 11, 2023
I don't know how I've never reviewed this place seeing as I've come here numerous times.
Food: the food here is outstanding, such creative wrongs. I highly recommend getting there, combo rule, dogs, and ends up being well worth it, and you can try a lot of different ones.
Aesthetic: the only complaint I can have about this please is that it's too small in terms of seating, but it is packed along the walls, and any standing structure with things to make it fun. I also like the sticky note wall.
Service: service is always amazing, plain and simple.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Mar 30, 2023
It took me a while to try this place and now I can say that I get the hype and why people still come despite being being in an unassuming strip mall and only open 4 days of the week. I think they accept dine in again, but my review is only about their takeout! I believe you have to order on their app, website, or in person. But the app and website is fairly easy to navigate.
The sushi was delicious, well plated, and packed with fish. I really enjoyed the Godzilla roll! And I will be back to try more.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Sally L.Montville, NJ072Mar 24, 2024
My friends from out of town came in for a visit and wanted to meet for an early dinner. They suggested sushi. I saw all the positive reviews of this restaurant and suggested we try this place. Boy, it did not disappoint. Our server was great, very accommodating and friendly. And what can I say about the food. They have an extensive menu so it was a bit overwhelming. We ordered both specialty and regular rolls and several appetizers. It was all delicious. I was also very impressed with how the tables were set up each with its own utensils station. This is easily my new favorite sushi restaurant and I look forward to coming back soon.

I've been waiting to try this place for quite some time and I'm happy to say it definitely did not disappoint!
Its take out only which I'm not too sure why cause it's a pretty big place. But anyway, the inside is very cute and has a calm vibe to it. Staff was quick & made no mistakes.
I got the K4 combo and K4 combo set along with three single rolls. The amazing sweet potato tempura roll is a 10/10 recommend. The spicy lobster roll is also another fantastic roll. Everything tastes so fresh and well prepared.
They also threw in three free pieces of sushi (Chef's Special) it was delicious!!!!!!!!
Parking is convenient and you're pretty much in and out of the establishment which is nice when you're doing take out.
I can honestly say I'm excited to order from here again! Don't make my mistake my waiting to try it, and go for it!Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Andrea T.Kinnelon, NJ015Apr 8, 2024
My personal pic for best Sushi in the area. I love it too, because they make sushi the way I enjoy and they always do a little treat from the sushi chef. The new location is also more appealing to dine. Service is good and friendly.

This place isn't that great anymore. $54 dollar for three rolls that sucked. Service isn't great. I hate the QR codes that don't work. This is pretentious and arrogant and treat me I am lucky to eat there.
Precovid this place was awesome and worth the high prices. I left an awesome review three years ago. Post Covid this place sucks and not worth the money and time. Go somewhere else.Helpful 2Thanks 1Love this 0Oh no 0Feb 26, 2020Previous reviewBest sushi in jersey hands down. Total diamond in the rough. I can't believe that a random (kind of best) strip mall has this amazing sushi restaurant.
Excellent rolls, awesome vibe, quick service, and free samples. Can't beat that. Usually get the spicy sashimi salad and some sort of riceless roll (they only have two options). The only big down side to this place is that it's super busy and sometimes there is a LONG wait for a table. I wish they would takeover the neighboring businesses in the strip so there is more room to sit
