Kari Shapiro - Keller Williams Real Estate

Originally from a small town in Upstate New York, Kari called New York City home for 7 years. Throughout those years she lived in several boroughs and learned the in's and out's of Manhattan's neighborhoods like a pro. In the fall of 2013 her and her husband moved to the District of Columbia, they currently own a home in Alexandria with their two bulldogs. Prior to becoming a realtor, Kari completed her BA degree at CUNY Baruch, with a major in Political Science and a minor in Communications. She also briefly worked at the Public Advocates Office in lower Manhattan under Bill De Blasio. In real estate, what motivates Kari is finding the right home for her buyer, and the right buyer for her listing. In fact, with a successful background in real estate in New York and working in property management locally, working collaboratively with people comes naturally. For Kari, her clients, who are often making one of the most important decisions in their lives, come to appreciate her level of commitment, communication, and attention to detail.
