Kabuki Japanese Steakhouse and Sushi

Always a great experience. I never have to wonder how the service or food is going to be because it is one of the best places to eat and gather in Montgomery.

Service was superb and our chef was awesome and entertaining. The only downside to the meal was the hibachi chicken was overcooked and dry while the gyoza lacked flavor. The portions were more than adequate The customer areas were clean and comfortable

Delicious food. Good service. Quiet place which is nice in a strip mall. When we are back in town we will stop by again.

I just left this restaurant and I will NEVER go back! First off, we were sat in the back corner by ourselves as if we were second class citizens and then ignored when a larger party came in! Only after we started to leave did the waiter and hostess try to address us and make it seem as if I didn't see what I did! I will only spend my money where I am appreciated ‍

Enjoyed the experience. Was with a group of friends celebrating my birthday. The personalized attention was great and the food was delicious.

First, the chef and waiter were as good as we have ever had in a hibachi grill setting. They made an above average dinner well above average.
Steak and scallops were good but he had to start off with the grill too hot. He adapted very well. Steak came to me pan seared but still tasty. Scallops were very nice
My wife had her hibachi grill go to chicken fried rice with extra vegetables, she said it was quite tasty.
Bottom line, nice meal, great service and there was enough food for lunch the next day, bonus!

Since the pandemic I have tried to resume patronizing this hibachi. Before the 2 years of pandemic it was one of my go-to lunch spots. At that time the food was good, hospitality of the workers was pleasant, service was great and their lunch time hours were consistent. Today, I am sitting in the parking lot writing this review because this is my third attempt since the pandemic has subsided and all of the previous attributes I indicated have gone bye-bye! Since, each experience has gotten worse and worse. You never know what time they cease to do hibachi style lunch during the day. That changes from day to day and seemingly hour to hour, now. I came about 2:10 pm and agreed to eat in the dining area today because again, they had already closed the hibachi area for lunch (???). Of course, another couple was the dining area eating and left before I has even gotten my full meal (simple: side salad, small (warm not hot) soup, a (cold with very little garnish) crunchy roll and tea). Wow! I felt rushed by the staff as soon as I sat down!!! What's worst is the waitress never checked back in with me to see if I needed anything (and yes, I did -- napkins please, in addition I wanted to order another soup). What is worst, is they turned the lights off in the dining area while I was still seated. I had to walk out of a very dark deserted restaurant at 2:50 pm. A totally unexpected circumstance and experience. I vowed I wasn't going back after the last visit (the rice was spoiled tasting- put it in a to-go box but it smelled awful so, I when got home I threw it away) but, I gave them one last try today. Should have given one star, if any. Sorry, your establishment has lost a long time, loyal customer!

I love Kabuki! Went for the hibachi and the service is always amazing. The hibachi chef was really great and as always had some funny tricks. Got the fried rice and hibachi steak, truly magnificent. Had leftovers too

I only had the take out once and the shrimp were overcooked and the veggies had no taste and for $26 you would expect better
