We had windows installed in our home. Initially there was some confusion as to the color of the windows, but K Designers stepped right up and took care of the issue. The windows look great and the installation crew did a great job of both installing and cleaning up afterwards. I really like the design of the windows and the ease of cleaning them.
We will be having more windows installed this fall and will definitely be calling them back!
I can highly recommend themHelpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Don S.Colorado Springs, CO029Apr 19, 2024
I hired K-Designers for a whole-house replacement of 1904 very tall (over 6') single hung sash windows in a 1904 solid-brick mansion in Pueblo's old Spanish district. I had bids ranging from 17$ to $54K for this work, and I did what I usually do, I chose the middle bid. And I also did this on the basis of quality considerations. K-Designers gave me an estimate of 6 weeks to get the windows in, and instead, they got them here in two weeks. In addition, we planned on a day-and-a-half for installation, but yesterday being freezing cold, they sent two extra men on their crew, and got the entire project--three-story Queen Anne Victorian house done in a single day. Their clean-up and re-installation of curtains and blinds was impeccable. I could not have asked for better work or performance or attention to detail. The young men on the installation crew were experts at their jobs, and extremely personable as well--polite in the extreme, I might add. Today, Friday, the house, inside and out, looks 3x better than it did on Wednesday. Pretty soon, I will be able to entertain my best-heeled business associates here. I am extremely grateful to K-Designers and their work crew for their timely and aesthetically superb delivery on this project. I did not think that this work would get done until the end of May. Kudos to this work crew and the company they work for--K-Designers.

The process of getting new windows for the whole house was very easy although took much longer than I was expecting it was still a good experience. The install crew, all 6 of them, were so professional and extremely nice. They cleaned up inside and outside and did a very thorough job. The windows look great and the quality so far seems great although we a through the worst of the cold and winter I'm excited to see how well they keep the heat out. Thank you all.

These people have harassed me all day. They keep asking for Bruce and said that he filled something out requesting a call back. I have explained 4 different times that they have called me that this is not Bruce's phone and to please stop calling me. I have also received 2 text messages from them and asked them to stop contacting me. When I finally called them directly to ask them to please have their people stop calling and texting my number the young lady tried to fight with me. What a crazy company this must be. I then read all the other reviews and sounds like they have zero ethics or business sense. Stay away from these crazies. Run!

Had siding installed on my house, and it looks fantastic. They were able to complete the work within a month of when i signed. and once the installer got there they were able to do the siding in on the whole house in two days. Very satisfied with K-Designers.

One month ago we exercised our "right to resend" order by walking into the office and handing the order to the manager. We have yet to receive the refund of our deposit. They either pass your call around the office or not answer the phone at all. I've lost all my faith in them.

We bought 21 windows from K-Designers and scheduled the install. When we discovered the windows were the wrong color, K-Designers took them back and ordered us the correct windows. When the new windows came in, one was damaged and once again the company replaced the window for us. Windows encasings were built on site and the contractor cleaned up after he was done. Very satisfied.

I googled "Alcoa siding warranty" to find a company that could remove the gross vinyl siding on our house, clicked on a link, and filled out an online form. Almost instantly, the phone rang. A pleasant-sounding woman commiserated with me about the gross warped vinyl siding, and said she'd send someone out to take care of it.
At first, I was impressed - the marketing director himself came out. He was polite, friendly, and (gasp) he's really a vinyl siding salesman, not the marketing director. After an hour-long sales warm-up" I determined that 1.) He has zero ability to recoup my Alcoa warranty, 2.) He has zero ability to remove siding unless we buy new vinyl siding, and 3.) The "after" photos of houses look worse than the "before" photos. It was sad - there was one quasi-mid century modern house they had particularly bastardized with vinyl siding and vinyl windows.
If there IS a genuine "Marketing Director", he/she has created a "marketing program" that takes lessons from boiler rooms and telephone scams. Pretending to offer big discounts in exchange for "allowing the company to use photos of your home in our advertising" is a vintage scam technique which predates the internet. Hey, at least this company recycles!
I'm angry, because in good faith, I attempted to contact the company I was led to believe had assumed responsibility for the now-defunct Alcoa Siding, in order to get the Alcoa siding removed. I hate vinyl siding, and this vinyl siding is clearly defective, endangering the structural integrity of our home. Instead, I spent several hours with someone who wants to sell me MORE vinyl siding! Completely misleading, and a complete waste of time! The original material on our house was tongue & groove cedar, and the previous owner (a senior citizen) had gotten "sold" by a vinyl siding salesman. I'm getting this ugly junk removed and new tongue & groove cedar installed even if I have to fly in specialty carpenters. I'm tired of ugly vinyl siding!
P.S. Interestingly, the siding they sell has no R-value, unless they drill holes in your house and blow insulation into your walls. And, they don't use house wrap to waterproof, they only use housewrap if you have asbestos siding, for an additional cost.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Joshua G.Littleton, CO6178Jan 30, 2020
OMG is all I can say... First of all, after the pressured sales technique, this is the biggest regret I have in my entire life. I am a drywall contractor and have been in the trades for years and I should have known better. I signed with a completely overpriced deal that started out super high and then came down with all kinds of incentives that they could offer. My wife was totally set on the siding and it was hard to say no. My bad... I could've got it done for a third of the cost. Anyways, we got our siding installed the week before Christmas in 2017. Our permit is still sitting in the window (over 2 years later) and has never been finalized. They were supposed to do a mid-way inspection, never done. They were supposed to do a final inspection, never done. I've called the office numerous times and they always say that they are coming out 'this week'. But they never do. The inspection permit has expired once already. They renewed it but still never came for a final inspection. Now when I call the office, they pretend they can't hear me and that the reception is bad. That's funny because the reception was fine before the sale... And it was fine the first five times that I called about the inspection. We technically can't even sell our house until the permit is complete. Now there is siding starting to fall off the house..
