JR Cigar Outlet - Burlington

Coming home from a long weekend of fishing in Southport with my buddy, we stopped here on the way home. The plan was to sit in the smoke room and enjoy a stick, then be on our way.

When we got there, we found d out they were having a shindig for NFL opening game day. Neither of us is a sports fan, but we're always down for a shindig

They had free boneless wings, a few types of sandwiches, and deviled eggs on the house. We bought a couple of Leather Rose torpedoes, a couple of beers, grabbed a plate of chow, and chilled!

After finishing our cigars, food, and a beer or three, we decided to get going since we wanted to get home. And since we're men and we didn't need any cigars, we decided the smart thing to do was to cruise the mega humidor room to see what we couldn't live without

Tim took some time to walk around and talk about their many specials. All the guys in here (and Donna, too) are amazing. Their knowledge is impressive, and the customer is king here.

Imagine if a Chick-fil-A drive thru and the Amazon return process had a baby. That baby would be how you're treated here. MAGNIFICENT

After probably 30 minutes of engaging conversation, we left with plenty of stuff we "really needed" COUGH COUGH

This is far from our first visit (I was going here back when they used the entire store and had all the other stuff). It will be far from our last, too.

Do yourself a favor and stop in. Talk to the gang, learn, chillax, and meet some great people while grabbing some smokes from their crazy big collection.

Excellent selection of cigars and service. Got me in and out in no time. Ample parking. It's a huge parking lot. There's a large selection of smokeless tobacco and cigarettes as well. This is a smokers haven. I'm not a smoker but this is where I would go if I were. there is active smoking, so you will smell like smoke after you leave. Just wanted to throw that in there. This is not the place you want to purchase tobacco products if you don't like or don't want to smell like smoke

Buyers Beware! Stopped by here on my way back from Durham & bought 2 cartons of Marlboro Gold menthol. I was so mad when I lit those $80.00 a carton STALE CIGARETTES!
I called to see if I could return the other in opened carton and they said No. They are so bad I can't even smoke them.

I've been through a few humidors over the years and never quite found the right one. With a cedar box, it's like having tropical fish. Constantly caring and regulating the environment.

Found an airtight plastic humidor with a built in hydrometer for $20. Add the Relative Humidity (RH) gel packet and I have the perfect environment for storage. Good instructional videos for continued education.

If you have to smoke - they have low prices and even carry American Spirit natural cigs - right off hwy

I was in the area on a road trip and saw a sign, had remembered this place from a visit about 25 years ago and decided to stop.

The selection was incredible and the staff was very helpful and friendly. Prices were quite good compared to online and cigar shops.

Wish I lived closer!
