Excellent experience today with Terry in finalizing a Nissan Leaf sale and with Kayla, in financing, working hard in getting me a very good loan rate.
It was a very good day. Thanks to both staff members.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Umcpgrad U.Rockville, MD14133Dec 31, 2023Updated review

I've been a loyal Infiniti customer for some time, but my experience at Jim Coleman has changed that for good. Be very careful when taking your car for service at this place. Specifically, do not attempt to pick up your vehicle at 4:30pm during the week. While the service hours are stated on the website, I arrived at 4:30pm and was unable to retrieve my vehicle because the service advisors left for the day. Second, there is zero emphasis on client centricity. I was quoted different costs for services and ultimately, my car was never repaired despite the extensive charges. I wish I would have read the reviews on this site, which share the same EXACT experience I had with costly services. Finally, the three service advisors we dealt with and manager are extremely condescending. In 2023, I didn't think that businesses in Montgomery County had so many employees that would approach customers in such an aggressive, disrespectful, and frankly biased tone. Those experiences let me know that buying another Infiniti from would be a terrible idea. I would highly recommend trying another location, even if you live across the street. It's not worth the disrespect and hassle.

Careful with buying a car at this place in 2022. They have insane ADM (additional dealer markup above the MSRP price of the car). We were looking at the 2022 QX60 which is a hard car to get right now, but the ADM for the autograph model was $5k. It ranged from $1.5k-5k for the other models on the spreadsheet they showed us.
But, there was also a note on the spreadsheet from the manager that said if a sales person is dealing with a local customer who bucks at the ADM charge, come talk to them. So you might have some recourse. Of course when I asked about that note the sales rep told me "he's not willing to budge on the model you're interested in"... of course not.
I understand the car is hard to find right now, but they pushed extremely hard for us to put a deposit on a car we couldn't even test drive or touch to "reserve" ours. I'm not willing to put a $1000 non refundable deposit on a car that I've only seen a picture of... that I can't even put my hands on or test drive any version of because they don't have any of them in stock. If I wanted to do that I wouldn't be buying an Infiniti, and definitely not in the first model year after a new redesign. Even Rivian's deposit is refundable. We went to 4 different car dealerships today and all have supply issues right now, but Infiniti was the only one who tried to capitalize on the scarcity of their inventory. Everyone else said they'd help us find the car we want and they don't charge more than sticker. Even though we like the looks of it a lot, we crossed the QX60 off our list.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Kurt B.Silver Spring, MD31812Jan 21, 2023
This Dealership left me with mixed emotions and ultimately the last call is what pushed me to purchase elsewhere.
Terry Greer is an amazing sales professional and is respectful thru and thru. If the sale of the vehicle was a deal that were to happen to between he and I only, the sale would have been had. At no point did he ever attempt to talk me out of the vehicle I had in question and he was sure to look into every effort to win me over as a potential client. What happened next was the issue.
The day where I attempted to finalize on the deal, the sales manager Stephon, tho pleasant, didn't make the dollars make sense. When in negotiations, he mentioned that his vehicle for sale is "already priced in the red," which sounds more like an issue on behalf of whomever priced it, not the consumer. Asking for top dollar on my trade in and working out the fees, he came back with a proposal that was almost 1k more than the number he said he would attempt to reach. What was more hurtful to me as a consumer was that he did not come back himself and explain to me the why behind it, instead sent Terry back to do the proverbial "walk of shame!" Thats really embarrassing and a bad look on leadership! I ended up leaving not finalizing on the deal however I mentioned to Terry, if they can get to my numbers or even close, call me and I will purchase. What happened next is why I would never do business with this location or even this franchise in the future!
The next day I received a call from another sales manager promptly at 10am in which they again tried to earn my business. On this call I made sure to mention that I'm a sales leader and that I know the business thoroughly and I'm willing to work on the numbers as long as they get closer to my number. This leader at which point mentioned that he is looking at the comparison vehicles that I had in interest and that his vehicle tho same year with 18k miles more than one of my interest was way more worth it. I mentioned if he wanted my business, my numbers and their numbers would have to meet in the middle in which he then laughed at me saying, "the car you want to get is no where near as good as my car, I won't budge on my numbers, call me when you when your on the way to pay my numbers!" I won't disclose this managers name however his first initial starts with a D! This is not how you do business. Insulting a potential client whether they are willing to spend 100k or 3k for a new or used vehicle is disrespectful and is a clear sign that business is not needed from a middle class hard working people such as myself and my family.
I encourage everyone to really think twice about this location and purchase at your own risk. I feel strongly that they need a revision of leadership as well as a few courses on people training. I hope this review gets to the CEO of the company as this experience has deterred me from returning to purchase a high end cpo vehicle from them!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 1 - Last P.Woodbridge, VA129136Jun 3, 2021
Do not buy used from here. They are completely untrustworthy and uncaring.
I talked to the Used Sales Manager and two Sales Associates on the phone about a Ford Focus RS they had on sale for a pretty good price. I asked if it had any Modifications as they sometimes do and they can get abused. I was told by 3 people it was "Bone Stock" and in good condition. So I drove up.
Not only was it not "Bone Stock." but it was damaged. It had a pretty worn transmission, modified intake, obnoxious blow off valve, it was probably tuned, and different exhaust. Now those things are tolerable but I mean, why would you say Bone Stock? and the cherry on top was it drove like it had a flat tire. There was something very very wrong with it. Could have been many things but I was just shocked at how misleading someone could be. It's apparently been there for months.
Naturally me being a reasonable guy. I left, angry but I gave them some reasonable doubt. So I called later and sent an email. I spelled it out pretty clearly that it was not in sellable condition and wanted to know why they lied to me and if they were planning on fixing it or what the deal was. I emailed the General Manager Buddy Morris, and the rest of upper management explaining the waste of time and frustration I experienced.
I got one missed phone call and a "Thank you for telling us". And that was it. No follow up. No actual apology. Nothing but lip service and the car is still on the lot. I gave them plenty of time to follow up and respond to me to see if I should just move on or if it was damaged beyond repair etc.
Save your money and time and don't trust these people. Infiniti is not even a relevant luxury brand anymore anyways.
Some people might think there has to be their side of the story.
Well I had a similar issue with another dealership and a car with bad brakes. They told me they would take care of it immediately and were nothing but polite and understanding. They actually wanna sell their cars. They've been in communication with me since day 1. I don't think it's hard to write an email with even a basic explanation and apology.
When you folks read this, don't bother. You had time, and I was polite. I hope you guys lose money on that heap.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Brice W.MD, MD02Jan 15, 2023
I have experienced unprofessional management and staff at Jim Coleman Infiniti. Staff and management at this dealership are rude, disrespectful, and dishonest. I contacted the dealership about damage to my vehicle via phone, email, and in person but did not receive a follow up. After contacting the Jim Coleman President, I thought I would reach a conclusion on how my car was damaged. However, I was only led to believe an investigation would take place but one never did. A lawyer should be present with you at this dealership, whether purchasing or servicing your vehicle due to poor and inconsistent business practices.
In addition, I find it odd my previous post with more details was removed from Yelp.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Renee P.Fort Meade, MD0102Apr 24, 2022
This dealership was originally the Infiniti of Silver Spring dealership but very recently relocated to Bethesda - they relocated without notice. I am willing to bet that the same service advisors and technicians that were in Silver Spring also relocated to Bethesda. Bottom line up front - if you want to spend thousands of dollars for services that are poorly done or not done at all, then bring your vehicle here. All such work has come to light when I took my vehicle to another Infiniti dealership for service. Cases in point - Got my vehicle serviced back in October and they are supposed to check your battery as part of the multi-point inspection - less than a month later I had to replace the battery. Next, I needed a cabin air filter changed - we were shown the destroyed cabin air filter that was incorrectly installed. Thirdly, my fuel injector systems needed work, although we had paid for the $50K maintenance service back in October that was supposed to include the fuel injector flush.
There are many more examples of shoddy work coming to light, but I don't have the time or space to explain. What a shame.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Mark G.Bethesda, MD526Jul 3, 2023
I bought a "certified" used car about a year ago and it turned out that they did not actual certify the car. The tires did not match and this can be a serious issue with an all wheel drive car. When this was discovered I ended up needing an additional new tire. They wanted to charge me almost $700 for one tire while Radial Tires in silver spring charged me $440 for the exact same tire. Why does the dealership that sold me the car have to gouge their customers. I will say my service rep was understanding but the issue was decided by his boss
