Jessica's bakery has a variety of mexican sweet breads. I've been going there for years for every birthday or holiday event. Typically I purchase their mini conchas which come in white, yellow, pink, and chocolate. They seem to be everyone's favorite!

My birthday cake was ok...if you don't speak Spanish make sure to translate exactly what you want even down to the filling. I wanted a strawberry cake with vanilla and the inside filling was Strawberry with chocolate chips....that does not even go together. The cake presentation was beautiful but the favor was not sweet at all. It was cheap that was a plus!

WARNING! When you order a cake from here PLEASE look over your order form and make sure they have everything right! I ordered my baby's baptism cake from them last weekend and OMG! I got a completely different cake from what I placed.
What I ordered: 2 tier square cake white all around with baby pink dots and bows with large bow on top tier. Marbled cake with strawberry and peach filling. My baby's name on side of bottom tier in baby pink

What I got; 2 tier round cake with HOT PINK dots and bows and NO bow on top tier with basically all chocolate cake and one layer of vanilla. Oh and let's not forget the two thumb dents on each side of the cake when it was given to me. With name sitting in some plastic thing on top of the cake which you couldn't even read!

When I informed the girl working that my order was all wrong, she called the owner and all he could do was offer an apology and ask if I still wanted the cake. Duh I do! It was the day of and I had no other option. All he could do was offer me $20 refund on a $100 cake! Ridiculous!
So everyone pleas be careful when you place special orders from here and review your order form multiple times, I put my trust in them for my baby's special day and was completely screwed over

If you're looking for a place that has flan this is the place to go.

It has a variety of pastries and sweets but the flan is by far the best I have ever tasted. I take it to family parties because my family loves the flan also.

This is my favorite place for my regular sweet bread, I love the conchas and the croissants. The bread here is very tasty and soft. Last week, I ordered a cake for a baby shower and I wanted to have a very special cake, I talked to the owner and I showed him the picture of how I wanted it, he responded that I should not be worried, that he would make sure that I get the cake the way I wanted. With a great surprise, he did it exactly how I wanted, the best of all, It tasted really good. I impressed my family and friends with this cake! Best Baby conchas ever! They make these small little conchas and they are Delicious. Always fresh! You have to try them out! Fire

Hit this place as I waited for my food from El Felinez #3 next door. I was immediately over taken by the wonderful aroma of fresh baked bread. And oh how I am a sucker for carbs.

So I grabbed a silver tray and proceed to figure what I could purchase.
Most of the pastries are sweet ~ and I more of a savory person ~ but I had to buy.

I got:
torta bread
Bread with cheese
Hostess (like) chocolate cupcake
Muffin
And what I have been craving~ tres leches cake

Everything was decent ~ but the tres leches cake wasn't good at all. That was a complete let down.

All in all ~ I will return for the fresh rolls and maybe some sweets ~ but I will stay clear of the tres leches

The only thing I buy here is the tres leches cake for all my families birthday parties. I always get compliments and I always tell everyone this is the place to come for tres leches!!!

I go there for their bolillos with cream cheese & jalapenos. They also make really cheap poundcakes which I take to work on occasion. Expect to spend while there because eventhough it's small there, you want to try each item!

This bakery sells great birthday cakes.....try the strawberry and pineapple filled yellow cakes...so good and always fresh! Prices are unbelievable..
