You know when your meat loving husband loves a vegan place, it's got to be damn good. Finding vegetarian options in Paris wasn't the easiest, but Janine Loves Sundays hit.the.spot. It felt so good to be able to look at a menu and actually have tons and tons of options! Lol. Naturally, that made me over order, but all the food was flavorful and delicious. Tip: get the mojitos - slightly dangerous (you can't taste the liquor, but it's there alright), but a good idea.

Me and my mom visited from Atlanta last week. I was curious about this place because it looked really cute (and busy!) and we were finding it a little tricky to find other cafes in the area with vegetarian options.
We ended up ordering wine, two pizzas and the panacotta for dessert.
The pizza was so good that I couldn't believe it was vegan! After I took a bite we had to double check to see if we were at a vegan restaurant or a vegetarian restaurant.
The panacotta was great as well. That's a tricky texture to get right without gelatin so whatever they did, they did a great job.
I still do eat dairy as part of my regular diet, but I love trying dairy alternatives and I can say that Janine loves Sunday does those really well.
Traveling as a vegetarian can be tricky so I'd really reccomend trying Janine loves sunday if you're looking for the traditional brassarie experience as a vegetarian or vegan!Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 1 - 20184228Nov 18, 2019
You know somewhere is good when you eat there and your like DELICIOUS then you later find out its vegan! The drinks were AMAZINGLY delicious and the waiter (who I also think is the owner) was very nice. Great vibe. My boyfriend and I loved it and neither of us are vegan. We have the margarita pizzas and spritz. Would definitely come back when I visit Paris again.

Fantastic vegan brasserie! Traveling one as a vegan and one as a vegetarian, we were "warned" that we would struggle in France. Paris is ripe with options, though, and this way the third all-vegan restaurant we visited and definitely the best. The menu has a lot of traditional and comfort foods, including pizzas and burgers. We both had pizzas, and they were excellent. For a starter, we shared a vegetable soup that was delicious.
The atmosphere was calm and appealing, and the service was friendly and accommodating. I would eat here regularly if I lived in Paris.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Shannon R.Los Angeles, CA108833240Feb 2, 2018
A vegan brasserie! My heart skipped a beat when I came across this little gem in Paris.
I ordered a glass of rosé, a chorizo pizza, and pain perdu for dessert. I was very jet lagged, so I didn't even notice that the pizza I received wasn't the chorizo one at all. I think I got the margarita pizza? It was delicious! The cheese...I don't know what cheese they use, but it was one of the best cheesy pizzas I've had since going vegan. Melty, stretchy, delicious cheeeeeese.
Pain perdu is basically french toast and how lucky am I to have french toast in France?! I loved every bite, it was so indulgent. I especially loved the caramel sauce that it was smothered in.
The service was great - typically French so not at all overbearing. I ordered in French but when the waitress had to explain something to me outside the limits of my knowledge of the language, she switched to English without a problem.
I would've come back here a hundred times if I had the time or the stomach space. There's still so much I want to try! I'm truly impressed by the existence of a vegan brasserie, so cool.Helpful 4Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Jordan W.San Francisco, CA1294Nov 7, 2017
My wife and I are both vegans and just recently visited Paris for a few weeks. This was one of my favorite places to eat while in Paris! I think the restaurant is 100% Vegetarian, but it definitely has options for vegans too. We ended up coming here a few times during our stay
I would absolutely 100% recommend getting the Pizza here! Most vegan cheeses simply don't taste good and remind you with each bite that you're eating vegan cheese. The vegan cheese here tasted great! I think I'd put this in my top 3 favorite vegan pizzas! One of the other things about this place that I loved is that they were open all day long. Sometimes my wife and I would trek to a vegan restaurant that was open on yelp, but was closed once we got there. & some of the other vegan friendly places close early in the day. It's nice to have a spot that you know will be open most of the time!
Finding vegan options while traveling can be quite a challenge, so I'm reviewing most of the places my wife and I stayed during our trip to make it easier for others visiting in the future. Be sure to check out my other reviews if you're a vegan visiting Paris and wondering where you'll be able to eat!Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Christina M.London, United Kingdom21011301583Jun 17, 2019
A bit disappointed with Janine Loves Sunday, which is disappointing since this is a 100% vegan restaurant.
We ordered the top things on the menu recommended by the waiter, which we're the kebab wrap and the Caesar nugget salad. The kebab was very dry and bland, it could have used more sauce or some hot sauce to add flavor. The salad was OK, but the seitan nuggets we're very dense and bland. I personally would not choose to eat here again if these items are considered the best.Helpful 8Thanks 0Love this 6Oh no 0 - Kollins E.Los Angeles, CA55531Jan 6, 2020
This was in Paris :):):) when we were on our get away. We were super happy to find a vegan place. Since in France everything has dairy in it.
Great atmosphere
Awesome friendly service.
Would come back!Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0
