There are a few problems with their initiative to contact us.
First, we do not have a facility! Obviously, JanPro is sending blanket SPAM to organizations without doing their research. If they do not do their research when marketing and SPAM messages, it is not likely they will do their diligence in working with you.
Second, they submitted this on a webpage clearly labeled as only for getting involved with the organization. This is disrespectful.
Third, this is obviously just a template that was cut and paste then sent through our website. Pretty lazy.
With reading the other reviews, it seems that JanPro would benefit from focusing on improving their communication and current customers first. Second, they should improve their communication marketing.
Unfortunately, this is typical of many companies these days. They invest more in marketing than in assuring good management and services. Thus, they often loose customers. It would be better to invest in providing good service and good communication. Jan-Pro sounds very good on paper and in the first meetings we had with the upper management.
However, the fellow who did our cleaning NEVER had a uniform and never really did a thorough job. It seemed that all the cleaning was vacuuming and a little dusting with very little attention to detail.
Then he passed on the cleaning duties to another non-English speaking man and his family. There was NO communication regarding this change! The cleanliness was steadily going downhill from that point on.
The management and the contract had said that there would be oversight and regular communication throughout the duration of the contract. There has been NO communication and only when we sought to cancel the broken contract was there any contact.

Be careful with these people. They include paid holidays in their contracts. I was charged for a cleaning on Christmas and they cleaning lady did not show up. I don't expect them to work on Christmas but I don't expect to be charged either.

We are sorry to hear that you were unaware that Jan-Pro prorates the monthly billing for customers to account for a few national holidays that our franchise owners will not perform cleaning services to allow them time to spend with their families. These include the holidays of New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas Days. It is included in every contract as we strive to be a transparent as possible about the terms of the agreement.

One star is a generous rating, they are the worst cleaning service I have ever done business with. They sucker you into a contract that requires 30 days notice and then still try to charge when they are no longer working for you. We gave them 30 days notice and NUMEROUS chances to correct their service problems. They are ALL TALK and NO ACTION. They focus on selling you a service that they cannot live up to, their service is unacceptable. All they want to do is run a vacuum over everything, they don't know how to use glass cleaner, a mop, broom or soap and water. They cannot even follow their own contract or comprehend what is required of them. We met with them time & time again, left notes in their communication log, took pictures, sent emails, they could not maintain a tolerable level of service for more than a few days.

Zach is the Franchise Owner that is our cleaning provider and we cannot say enough about the cleaning service he provides. Very trustworthy, dependable, and great communication. Would highly recommend.

I've had great experience with Jan Pro. They are attentive, flexible and are able to meet the needs of my office. Service is dependable and people are easy to work with. I'd recommend them to anyone!

I have been using this group for 4 years, and they've never been good. I kind of assumed that was just how it goes, until I talked with someone who had a better experience elsewhere.
Had one crew that did spotty work. Have to leave notes every single week. They finally got me another crew. Same thing. Tried to call to find out how I can provide my 30 days notice of cancellation. They told me I was late because my contract auto renewed 30 days before the annual renewal date. Now I'm stuck with them for another year. The guy was a bit of a stubborn child about it. Of course, then I turned into a jerk, and it unraveled. So, instead of John (this manager) providing GOOD customer service and saying, "You know, you have been dealing with sub-par service for years. Instead of hold you on a technicality, and force you to deal with a company you now dislike FOR ANOTHER YEAR, we'll allow you to provide 30 days notice starting now, and go our separate ways." My office used Jan-Pro for almost 2 years until very recently. For the past 6 months, I have been back and forth about finding a new cleaning company to service our office - and am very happy that I finally made the switch. My main complaints with Jan-Pro are their lack of communication and the difficulty I experienced working with their internal A/R and A/P teams. We had our new cleaning company in for the first time this weekend, and I have noticed a significant improvement in the thoroughness of the cleaning - it finally looks like someone took the time to really clean the entire space. I hate terminating contracts (especially after 2 years) but am very happy to have moved on from this company.
