I went to Dimples Salon and Spa for a Brazilian wax and she did a horrible job. It was very painful, sloppy, and rushed. She missed so much (I would've been better off shaving) and I left bleeding. She was also very rude and 30 minutes late for my appointment DO NOT GO TO HER!

My brother grew up with long hair, never wanted to cut it short and somehow I convinced him to do a clean style. SO glad I found the guys here; Carlos was the one who did the cut but honestly both men are so talented from what I saw. Super friendly and very accommodating.
Carlos really took his time to fade my brother's hair out to perfection and we both couldn't be happier with the result.
Come see Carlos and Al in suite 24! (You can search up the stylists conveniently on the website)Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Sasha S.NY, NY3610433Jun 18, 2019Updated review
I went to Orlando, Fl for Easter break. It was my first time flying with my baby and I was a total mess, like frizzy hair that is too short for a bun mess. Make up couldn't even help!
I went to see Andrea and she tamed the mane!!! She suggested the Brazilian blow out which I was reluctant to do because it's expensive but it was the second time someone has suggested it. I'm SO GLAD I did! The least of my worries nowadays is my hair thanks to the Brazilian blowout treatment and the products she sent me home with that I was also hesitant to buy but I'm so glad I did!!! Since I trust her and she's never steered me wrong I gave in. It was all absolutely totally worth it.
Nowadays I take my quick showers using the shampoo/cond and then a quick comb through of a leave in cream. I've blown it out once for a straight bouncy look but have left it air drying for most days and have received nothing but compliments on it. Everyday has been a great hair day ever since!
My boy is almost 7 months old, I thought I'd have myself together by now but at least I can now look like I do. Thank you Andrea!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Oct 15, 2017Previous reviewFeeling fantastic! Once again Andrea gives me the look and color I wanted for the fall in NYC. The bayalage - low maintenance and I don't have to break the bank every two months.
In love with it, thank you!Jan 9, 2017Previous reviewJust came back from a trip to Orlando. Andrea, as always, squeezed me into her holiday schedule to manage my roots, cut and gave me a keratin treatment while I was there.
Thank you so much!!!Jun 17, 2015Previous reviewI love Love LOOOOOVE the iStudio Salon at the Dr. Phillips location in Orlando, Fl. I would give iStudio and Andrea Camacho in studio 14 more than 5 stars if I could. It's super chic and professional and not to mention Andrea is just AWESOME! I love her new digs!
She's a magician with color and a great stylist. She listens during the consult and takes her time to perfect her work. She cuts to match my personal style which I love. She's very accommodating and has always made room for me when I'm in town and I am so grateful for that!
Living in NYC you would think it would be easy to find someone that can give a good cut at a reasonable price, it's really not. Thankfully, I travel to Orlando quite often!
Thank you Andrea and iStudio Salon, I'm planning for another visit soon!!!! - Sheila S.Davenport, FL5772Nov 28, 2018

Love, Love, Love this concept! iStudio Salon is a community of independently owned beauty professionals. What this means for a stylist is that you can open your own business on your terms in a hassle free and modern space. What this means for consumers is that you'll only deal with the beauty professional you want to see. It also means you will have a variety of professionals to choose from for services.
For example, at any given iStudio salon, you may find nail professionals, hair stylists, skin care professionals, and if you need a Brazilian wax, I'm sure you could find someone there who could help you out. It's like a cafeteria of beauty of services all in one place--you can pick and choose which services and professionals you want. The facility itself is very clean and modern, which is a plus for both customers and owners.
The waiting area is self serve. There is no receptionist. When you walk in, take a look at the different professionals to find their individual studio number. The individual studios are labeled clearly, so simply walk around until you find the number you're looking for, and you're done.
Since each business is independently owned, you will need to verify times and prices with the individual owner. If you have a question or concern, you will need to contact the individual owner directly, as they are their own management.Helpful 8Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Dana S.Orlando, FL320Aug 29, 2019
This establishment has independent stylists renting a space. I found Sameer while walking through. I thought I was going to continue to work with him for years until he decided to say he no longer wanted to. I scheduled with him 5 weeks out. The day before, he texts me asking if he can push my appointment back a 1/2 hour. I said ok. I go to my appointment time to find the previous client still receiving service. I told him I couldn't wait because I had to be at work in 1/2 an hour. He said he would call me to reschedule. The night goes by, no call. I go by his space the next day, he said he'd call me. Waited until 8 that evening, still no call. I texted. Never explained why he decided to drop me. I'd consider using other stylists in the space.

I do not love this salon, at all! After reading Marisol's great reviews, I thought I was in for an amazing color and cut. Boy, was I wrong! I should've just done a random Groupon since it would've turned out better. I love to give amazing reviews and encourage people to go to great places, but this place has ineffective management that won't even back this stylist's work! They won't call you back and make a multitude of execuses as to why they can't follow up after two weeks of phone calls and e-mails.
Attached are pictures of my non-fabulous hair color when I asked 5 times for cool tones, no orange or warm colors and a stylized cut. I was willing to pay more for all of these services, but was reminded that I was getting a discount by a professional stylist "trained by the best in N.Y." Give me a break! A mediocre hair cut followed that razored out hair and I was told by her not to let just anyone else do this highly trained maneuver. The whole time she tried to upsell me (5) times, before she even started the initial work, with a "severly needed" $175.00 keratin treatment. I should've jumped out of the chair had I known what was to follow next. She did my roots orange (I asked only for a highlight, low light weave) and told me she doesn't know what she's going to do until she starts on the client, and that a weave is out of style. Then, just tell the client they are not a good match-be honest! Stylist is nice enough but not what I would consider a designer hair stylist.
*Actually, we had agreed on the work (cut and purple), as the price kept climbing and climbing! I did ask for edgy purple-I'll let you decide how professional this is.
Bottom Line: To this day management let me know they had to decide if they could even get back with me for damage control, refund. The stylist did not at all listen to what I had asked for, went off on her own rack-up-the-bill escapade and did not return my calls for four days. She is nice but probably not suited for someone who doesn't give her total "artistic freedom", $200, and pretends not to see other clients hanging out in the cubicle with her eating ham sandwhiches-akward to say the least! A truly Odd, unprofessional, and discourteous experience; the reflection on this particular salon is lasting.
Unfortunately, this $200 "NY professional" hair job took $150 to fix and the Aveda stylist let me know how "jacked up" my hair was. Thanks, I know...don't even risk this one! It'll end up being one of the most unprofessional wastes of a lot of hard-earned money out there!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Angela S.Maitland, FL72673May 25, 2015

I been going to Lisa for many years and she has always kept my hair looking fantastic. She is very talented with color, cut, and updos, and even highly skilled in men's hair cuts as well. She has done everything for me from wedding hair to a simple color and I always get compliments on my hair! She is located in Dr. Phillips and her studio is BellaMaria. I guarantee if you are having reservations on trying a stylist you will not be disappointed she is very talented.

First off, this is an excellent concept and a perfect example of "why didn't someone think of this a long time ago?" A gathering place for a wide variety of independent hairstylists and wellness pro's (skin care, massage, nails, etc) with their own, private studio space.
Among the many hairstylist at iStudio is Nancy Sostre at "The Distinguished Gentleman". In fact, Nancy is more than a hair stylist, she's actually a trained Barber - something of a dying breed these days. If you're looking for a REAL Barber, and a skilled technician at the craft, Nancy is the one for you.
I've had three "real Barbers" in my 49 years on this planet. Finding a new one is stressful to say the least. I've now been with Nancy for 10 years and can honestly say that she's the best, and a master.
I hesitate to write this review as I fear she'll become more popular than she already is - thus making the process of getting in to see her that much more difficult. However, if you're particular about your hair and are a fan of GREAT customer service, I have to put it out there that Nancy is without equal in the Orlando market.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Michelle O.Saint Cloud, FL03Jan 20, 2019
