Island Massage Kailua

Hi, I felt the need to write a review for Brian since I've gone to him a number of times when I still lived in Hawaii. I recently moved to Ithaca, NY, and I must say that I have not been able to find a massage therapist in this area (though it is swimming with them and home to a prominent massage school) that matches Brians skill in deep tissue and trigger point therapy, even in price ranges far exceeding what he charges.
I don't know what the other reviewer Leah S. was expecting, but Brian consistently addressed the deep muscle adhesions I had in my lower and upper back in a way that no other therapist has been able to address. I am returning to Hawaii for winter vacation, and I plan to get two massages from Brian while I am there just to hold me over until I return for summer vacation! If you're looking for a truly focused and productive deep tissue massage, Brian is your man.

Wifey found this place a suggested I go and get a massage. Sure glad I listen to my wife. Derek was my guy and he had a special technique that I found to be great. He was good in not trying to force conversation during the session and it allowed me to concentrate of relaxing and enjoying.

Wonderful massage. Got right to the pressure points and Brian did an excellent job releasing all that muscle tension I've had due to lots of golfing. He focused on where I told him to focus on. His pressure is strong and right to the point. Lots of other massages will just use the oil and rub their hands on your body. Brian actually uses different techniques to relieve the muscle tension.

I highly recommend his service. There are plenty of paid street parking. I was lost at first and had to call him to figure out which room he was in. There were no forms to fill out like most places. His online booking system is very easy and convenient. You get an email reminder as well as a text reminder. I had to change my time and was able to do so with ease.

For $65 for 60 minutes and a great massage, it's worth it. Room was dimmed nicely and felt comfortable in there.

Island massage is the perfect place to get away and relax without having to leave the island. Brian is one of the nicest people youve ever met and he has magical hands that have worked the stress out of all my muscles (and believe me I have an abominably high level of stress). I love visiting the windward side and grabbing lunch afterwards.

I just had a lymphatic drainage massage and it was wonderful. Brian did a great job! I would highly recommend their services.

I have never gone to a massage therapist before. I don't really like people touching me but after hurting my back on a weekend I was unable to stand up straight and I was unable to get in to see my doctor or a chiropractor until the following week so I figured give these guys a try. There were no female therapists available and I almost didn't go because I didn't want a male therapist. I was in too much pain to care. I saw Brian. I felt comfortable with him right away. It wasn't weird like I thought it was going to be. He was really knowledgable and I was amazed at the result. The pain was totally gone when I got up off the table. I can't believe I never tried it before and I will definitely be back.

This is one of the best massages I've had, and I'm a bit of a massage junky. I dislocated my rib a few weeks prior, and he was able to stabilize and adjust everything and work on all the stressed muscles that had been compensating for the injury. The technique was different and really worked!

Brian provides great service, is professional, and is great at what he does. Uses multiple massage techniques to reduce pain and increase comfort. Been to him many times and will keep coming back.
