Q:
Hi could you tell me what days you have live music? I would also like to know if we need to make reservations for dining in?
A:
I'm not sure they are doing any live music right now. Over the summer they did it outside on Friday's. You can check their website: https://theinishmorpub.com/ They do NOT make reservations.

Stopped in to have lunch and found they have two locations, regular bar and restaurant and a smaller take out place next door although you can eat there. The menu is also different from the larger restaurant, much smaller and is currently going under revision.
We decided to eat in the larger restaurant.
We were greeted immediately and invited to seat ourselves. There are a number of tables on m the front of the restaurant with a few booths further down. There is also a very long bar to sit at.
One server was handling the full restaurant and doing a very good job at it.
We ordered the pretzel appetizer, Mac and cheese, and the Shepard's pie.
The pretzels arrived, 4 of them, with a bowl of runny beer cheese which would have been better if it was a little thicker. But the pretzels were incredible, soft, warm, and chewy. Definitely something we'd reorder again and the star of the afternoon.
The Mac and cheese, a large portion, was very flavorful but lacked any extra cheese sauce and was on the dry side. Cavatappi pasta in a 4 cheese sauce with a scattering of bread cheese. Didn't notice any extra Jack cheese on top of the bread crumbs. Would have been better with more sauce.
The Shepard's pie had plenty of mash, Jack cheese on top and ground lamb. Carrots, peas, and onions mixed with the lamb and a nice gravy completed the dish. Flavor was good but could have used a little more seasoning. But a good hearty dish for a cold winter's afternoon and definitely something that would be ordered again.
We'll make a return visit to try some of their other menu items..Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Nov 24, 2023
What do you do when Instagram's Food_of_CT says Inishmore's corned beef is terrific, and the Wing Addicts put Inishmore on their CT Wing Trail. My Foodie Twin Jen H just stopped reading because she already knows. You Double Down! You order both!
Inishmore is an Irish Pub with very good food. An underserved CT restaurant type in my book. The atmosphere was not fancy, but right on for a pub. Service was first rate.
Inishmore's Reuben was one of the best I've had in CT, and the corned beef itself, was the best I've had on a Reuben by far. The corned beef was so lean, tender and balanced flavor-wise. The bread was a light and dark marble rye. Very fresh and high quality. A sign indicated that they source their bread from Harpo's. I assume that's the South Glastonbury Harpo's, who I know to make good bread. The bread had grill marks and was not greasy. So they must have used something like a panini press, or a ridged grill pan and a cast iron grill press. The kraut was good. The one thing that didn't pop for me was the Thousand Island dressing. Perhaps that's because they were concerned about having too much moisture during the grilling. Next time, I would probably get some on the side too.
The sweet jalapeño wings were very good. The sauce was sweet and a bit spicy, and had actual softened jalapeño pieces. Very tasty and different. The wings were meaty and had very good texture. I see why the Wing Addicts are fans.
My son and I also shared some chips (as in the chips of Fish and Chips) and curry sauce. I liked the curry sauce. The chips were like thick potato wedges. This wasn't my favorite Chip style, but it was fine.
I highly recommend The Inishmore. I will be back, even though I live 30 minutes away.

Best place to be on Saint Patrick's Day. Corned beef and cabbage with potatoes. Pretzels for an appetizer. Green beer. Service was great. All decked out for Saint Patrick's Day.
Inishmor is the place to be.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Feb 16, 2024Previous reviewIn our way to Foxwoods for the evening, it was an easy decision to stop off in Colchester for a few drinks and lunch. Inishmor is quick off Route 2 and has plenty of parking in the adjacent lots.
It's super cute inside. For a mid Friday afternoon it was relatively crowded. Warm wood floors and brick walls welcome you. Table seating, bar stools and booths are the options.
The menu is authentic Irish fare. The corned beef is cooked
to perfection. We started with the pretzels and stout cheese for dipping. Fresh and hot. It's pretty hard to resist a Reuben in an Irish pub that's the choice we made. Served on bakery fresh marble bread with cheese and thousand island dressing, the Reuben was delicious. The fries were also stellar.
The menu contains both sandwich and traditional entrees. Lots of Irish choices. Colchester isn't too far from home and we will be sure to return. - 122395114Dec 28, 2023Updated review37 check-ins
Still one of our absolute favorite places! The service is great, the beer selection is vast, and the food is always delicious. You can get the best corned beef and cabbage any time of year and the best macaroni and cheese (with your choice of bacon, pork belly, corned beef, or buffalo chicken). If you see anything "curry" on the menu, give it a try! I've been very very happy with those dishes.
Very relaxed atmosphere with a few TVs around for sports fans (they make great wings too!). The only downside is that it's so good it's super popular and can get VERY busy so either pick an 'off' time or be patient!!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Jun 1, 2017Previous reviewWow! Not even St. Patrick's and some of the best corned beef and cabbage! Great selections of beer on tap. Hubby ordered the Sheppard's Pie, and we were surprised by the delicate mixing flavors in such a 'standard' dish. Great sift background music and great service made this an A+ night.
Sep 21, 2016Previous reviewThe Inishmor has a really great atmosphere. The wait staff has always been super courteous and efficient. The bar has a great vibe and there is a great selection of beers and other spirits. If the beer doesn't get you in the door, the food should! Always look at the specials, you are likely to find a treat. Everything from shank yumminess to shepards pie. The hubby is a big fan of the mac-n-cheese with corned beef (a bit salty for me, but he loves it!).

We visited Ireland this summer and were curious to see what CT had to offer for Irish pub experiences. The Inishmor has received a lot of recognition, so we made a visit on our way home from one of the casinos. We have to say that the food even exceeded our expectations! I'm usually very particular about my corned beef because my mom makes such a good homemade one that I'm often disappointed elsewhere, but this one was fantastic and the best one I've ever had at a restaurant! The Mac and cheese and wings also really stood out, and we had never had bangers and mash before but these were incredible! Excellent service and loved the vibe. We will absolutely be back!!

"Why I'm singing this song
Why I'm heading back home
That's what makes the Irish heart beat"
(Van Morrison)
The Inishmor Pub is about as Irish as you can get -from the dozens of Guiness flags hanging from the ceiling to the army recruiting poster lauding an Irish war hero, to the St. Patrick's Day countdown clock on the wall.
We stopped in for lunch the other day and had a very nice experience.
We ordered a Mac 'n Cheese ($12) - "Cavatappi pasta, four cheese blend, seasoned bread crumbs topped with Jack Cheddar, and a Holy Frijoles Burger ($15) - "hand packed vegetable burger with black beans, roasted red peppers, onions, garlic, homemade chorizo seasning, topped with feta (I swapped for swiss) cheese, grilled pineapple and lettuce" served with fries.
The food was excellent -I really liked the super creamy mac and cheese and the black bean burger had a ton of flavor. And the French Fries were superb!
This is a very cool place. I learned they support quite a few community service projects, like donating money to the local daycares for their painting and playground maintenance. They've also donated over $6,000 to some Veterans organizations, and that's a very nice thing indeed.
For all these reasons, we were very impressed with the Inishmor.Helpful 11Thanks 0Love this 18Oh no 0 - Kevin S.Manchester, CT2577Jan 21, 2024
Great local pub in Colchester center. Super friendly staff, but the menu needs more plant based options!

The food and ambiance were terrific. It is a pub but you're certainly not getting pub food. We had to wait about 1/2 hour but well worth it

Never had a bad meal or drink at Inishmore. The Owner Alex is an amazing guy you can see all the passion that goes into his food. The bar itself is just like a bar in Ireland you feel very comfortable and the waitresses, cooks and bartenders are so friendly and kind.
