Really cool Korean spot in Northport! I came here with a friend to check things out. The menu consists of wings, 2 dishes and a handful of sides.
We started with an order of small wings...10 included. Soy garlic and wildfire were the flavors we went with. Wings were double fried and amazing! The wildfire are the spiciest wings available. They are really tasty but not too spicy (4 outta 10 on the spice scale).
We also ordered the Teriyaki chicken and Bimimbop...both over rice white. Both were outstanding. I liked the Teriyaki a little better but you won't go wrong with either choice.
Great experience and will definitely be back to check out the rest of the menu.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Mar 30, 2017
So I've never understood why this place was called Inboston but the owner Charles told me it's because it's actually a franchise....in Boston. He just took over the place in November 2016 so I'm going to disregard all reviews before then.
Some reviews said service was slow but mine was fine. I would rather wait for them to double fry my wings than have them just sitting under a hot light. I ordered the Small soy garlic wings with pickled daikon radish as my side. I love daikon radish and it was delicious but the reviews all said the potato salad rocks so I'll get that next time. The wings were so crispy (I love crispy wings!) and not too saucy. I inhaled them in 5 minutes.
FYI they still don't have chopsticks. I read a review here that someone took off 1/2 star because she likes to eat her chicken with chopsticks. How can you take off half a star for something so unusual? It's not like it's a noodle place and they didn't have chopsticks. It's a fried chicken place. Use your fingers and ask for more wet naps.Helpful 4Thanks 0Love this 3Oh no 0 - Jennifer H.Deer Park, NY44222643Aug 26, 2018
Excellent excellent Korean fried chicken! Besides the city, not a lot of choices in Long Island for this. Was not happy when Koreana in Hicksville closed so thank the heavens for this place.
Started with the fried mandoo which really set the tone. Lightly crisp on the outside and yummy fillings inside. Next we shared a small combo order with garlic soy glaze. It. Was. Epic. Highly recommend! Sorry to take a star off because their AC was off (may have been broken?) so the road noise came in along with a few flies. Regardless, will be back and hoping next time the door doesn't stay open.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Oct 25, 2015
Not too shabby for a Long Island equivalent of Korean bonchon chicken. Tired of the boring and typical food around Northport? This place at least deserves a visit.
While it doesn't exactly taste like your typical soy garlic chicken wings, the flavor is there just a bit more mild. This place does a great job though frying the wings, and they maintain the juicy meat inside the crunchy outside. The spicy wings aren't burning hot immediately, but the heat does release a long slow burn in the long run. The side offerings are pretty typical for a Korean bonchon chicken, although you may to opt for the cold mashed potatoes to calm the spicy burn.
While this place is on the main road passing through town, there's enough street parking, and apparently a back lot as well. The design inside is simple, clean and straight forward: several tables, large flat screen TV and the ordering counter. Overall this place gives at least some ethnic variety to the typical food offerings of suburbia.Helpful 4Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - 89515003145Mar 12, 2018
My husband and I got some wings (the infamous double fried soy garlic and classic crispy) and some fries.
Fries were nothing special. Wings were crispy for sure but small and not saucy enough for me.
Inside leaves much to be desired. Restroom was out of paper. Atmosphere is just not great.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 4Oh no 0 - Joshua K.Saint Louis, MO3568695May 23, 2018
Why in the world are more people not talking about this place, how have I been living on Long Island my entire life and it took me until I was a junior in college to even find this place, because my god are these wings good. Everything is made to order, so the wings come out hot and crispy, and coated into a perfect sauce. But you will have to wait 15-20 minutes because the food is made fresh.
I ordered a small glazed spicy wings which came with 3 drumsticks and 5 wings, plus one side (I ordered white rice, plain simple and great for mixing with that leftover glaze). The best part about the wings being made right after you place your order is that they remain super crispy, even with a a delicious sauce on them. The glaze was super delicious and super sticky, which is staple of Korean sauces. The spice was definitely present, but not overpowering which was perfect becuase it let the chicken shine.
Overall a well balanced glaze on top of a crispy wing made for a perfect afternoon lunch. Head out to East Northport and give this place a try becuase Korean fried chicken is truly a gem.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Apr 17, 2017
The bulgogi here are great! Good flavor and value for the meal. I would recommend against getting the wings and the fries - both were either not very flavorful or lacked texture. I was especially disappointed with the chicken, as they were significantly hyped up by a friend.

Tasty Korean fried chicken!
I've been here 10 times and can say I've tried just about everything on their menu; everything is so delicious!
I usually go with the glazed regular, but have been switching it up and getting the glazed spicy (so good and definitely spicy!).
If you're into really spicy food, go with the double fried option in wildfire. That's their spiciest.
The wings option is a lot like the traditional bone-wings you'd find at a wing place, the drums option is very big and more meat, and the bites option has no bones in it.
I absolutely love the sides they have (potato salad for the win!). My sister loves the radish side.
I'm so happy there is a Korean food place near me (15 minutes away) and I get to enjoy delicious Korean food now! Long Island is extremely lacking in that department, besides queens.
Some food options that are less known:
Bulgogi over rice (amazing), bibimbap (egg, rice, meat, veggies), Mandu (Korean dumplings).
The owner is very knowledgable and friendly, along with his wife.
Come by and try some awesome Korean fried chicken!
You won't regret it!
I'll be back for more, most definitely!Helpful 4Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Kens F.Commack, NY024Jul 10, 2016
Great korean style fried chicken - i usually get the glazed - spicy option - 10 piece wings(small), but they also have american style fried chicken, which I've also had, but I prefer the Korean style wings better :D!
The owner is really friendly and a knowledgeable person. I've come back many times; it's that good :)Helpful 5Thanks 0Love this 4Oh no 0
