Do you have gluten free options?

We don't have a separate gluten free menu but we do get gluten free customers who order our rolls, sushi, or sashimI. We also have gluten free soy sauce. I hope this helps.

We dropped in with my family of 5... it was a cold rainy day and we were craving sushi before our awesome stay in the cabins. I was a little worried as we showed up and there were no further tables available big enough for us. Thankfully a party of 2 took a smaller table so we can have the big table. I thought was very sweet.
The ambience was nice with great music but.. the inside was a bit small and we couldn't really be too loud. I have 3 kids so I felt we had to be quieter. The food was great though and they provide cakes when you first arrive which was nice. The server was nice.
Only thing I have to say was my youngest son is a bit picky, so I asked for a substitute for the topping, unfortunately they said no they can't. Worth a shot but just keep that in mind. They were able to remove Avacado and cucumber since he doesn't like that in his sushi. lol
We had a great experience in Idyllwild though and cannot wait to return for a full weekend experience.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Danny L.Los Angeles, CA32016Jan 22, 2024
Rainy days call for a nice hot soup with soul. And we finally seem to have a great spot. I've been wanting to try this spot and all the rain and storm today made it the right day. We ordered a veggie and a chicken Ramen to go. I must say we were pleasantly surprised when we opened them at home. The broth is a medium spicy broth and made the soup very delicious. The noodle are soft tiny egg noodle and perfect for the ramen.
The staff were very nice and friendly, as is the norm in our little town.
I am certainly looking forward to trying other items there.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Francisco C.Anaheim, CA51941Feb 23, 20241 check-in
Came in with a friend and ordered sushi rolls and yakisoba dish. Ordered drinks and beer. Small and quaint place. Indoor and outdoor seating. Quick and easy to order, dine and checkout. Been multiple times and would return and recommend :)

If you are craving some Japanese food or just some hot noodles (which we were in the rainy weather at Idylwild( this is the place to be. Not quite as good as the japanese food in torrance area here in LA. To be fair I didnt try any of the sushi rolls so can't say - but I did enjoy their yakasuba ! My son devoured the gyoza's. The Chicken ramen we ordered was quite average though!

Great sushi spot on this town! We had the rainbow roll, baked salmon roll, and the bulgogi combo. The sushi was fresh - I was impressed! It's a small Mom and Pop place- staff are helpful and accommodating. There were seating tables on the patio and dogs are allowed. Love this about Idyllwild- most every places to go to are dog friendly.

This small, tucked away restaurant is slightly off the beaten path but well worth finding. The staff was friendly and welcoming, taking their time to explain everything since they knew we were first-time dinners.
The menu is very inclusive and contains a few items that i haven't seen in years. The service was fast and the food was incredible.
The drinks were the standard restaurant selection with no adult beverages offered but they are considering adding them.
We added them to our "Go to" places in Idyllwild and you should too!!!!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Jeannette S.SUNLAND, CA15411Feb 16, 2024
So we stop by this place during the day to see if we need a reservation on a holiday weekend. They say no. We go at the appointed time and they told us it would be an hour for food: no one in here. Talked with the owner and he said he'd make it immediately: but found out there's no sake or alcohol. I mean who doesn't post that? Restaurant has a lack of integrity will never go again.
