About the Business
Ida Claire is a funky, southern influenced restaurant & bar. The food is notched up southern but has influences from different regions. You'll most likely see dishes you've heard of before but with little twists here and there. Our sandwiches will be served on biscuits and we'll have chicken and waffles on every menu. Brunch is obviously southern and will be a big part of what we do. The drinks are takes on classics like the Mint Julep but revved up and including a lot of house made ingredients. We'll have several different house bitters and a house gin. The décor has a southern influence with antebellum charm and elegant polish, stated most clearly in our reworked air stream trailer parked in the garden for VIP reservations. The whole restaurant will feel like a quirky southern aristocrat's home...just not exactly what you might think.

Is this wheel chair friendly?
A:
Yes, there is a wheelchair ramp to get to the entrance. They have a spacious outdoor dining area. Indoors, most of the aisles are wide enough for a wheelchair and there are a few family size tables that are easily accessible.

The atmosphere was amazing, the food was great and I saved the best for last, our waitress Ashley. Ashley made great suggestions and was a class act. Thank you for the enjoyable time and we will be back.

The food did not disappoint here! The serving size was just right, and some are good for sharing. We had a reservation because we weren't sure how crowded it would get. It wasn't too bad for a Sunday morning, but we went really early and by the time we left, it was getting packed.
The chicken and waffles were the star. It was a lot but so good!! My husband enjoyed his burger as well, and he said it was cooked perfectly. Our toddler had no complaints about her pancakes and potatoes. It was a win for the whole family!
Our daughter loved all the colors and art around, she enjoyed pointing out different details. Everyone was accommodating and kind. It has been added to our go-to breakfast places!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - May 4, 20241 check-in
our food didn't get to us until after an hour of being seated, and when it did it was so cold we had to send it back. we had to repeatedly ask for an extra set of silverware because they kept forgetting. they also kept forgetting to bring the napkin i asked for to wipe up the condensation that was leaking on to the table from the vents.
when the food was heated, it was good. service was friendly just a bit behind.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - 184114156Apr 25, 2024
Stopped for brunch this morning. We came right at the opening, and the place was already filled with people!
We were told biscuits were a must so we can an order to share. They were indeed delicious: warm, flaky, buttery and crunchy on the outside and soft and pillowy on the inside. They were served with honey butter, gravy, and jam.
I got the hot honey sliders and they were outstanding. Chicken was very well seasoned, and moist. The breading was crunch to perfection and not greasy at all. The slider as a whole was the perfect bite!
My friend got the Monte Cristo and it was MASSIVE! Looked delicious too.
Definitely worth a try!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Apr 4, 20242 check-ins
Me and the lady were in the area and decided to give this place a try since it had good reviews. Parking is great and it's easy to find. Once arrived we already liked the set up of the business and the staff was quick to help and seat us.
Once seated we had an amazing waitress who helped us with the menu. We first ordered our drinks along with Ida's Biscuits. And for our main course we ordered the Fried Chicken BLT and the Chicken and Waffles.
Once the food arrived everything was amazing! The biscuits and every dip was amazing, and our main dishes were great! Definitely worth the experience! So if you're hungry and want great service and food, then this place is a must!Helpful 6Thanks 2Love this 7Oh no 0Business owner information

One of the cutest places to eat for brunch, lunch and dinner! They can hold huge group events and also perfect for a cute bite together with a few friends.
Staff is very attentive and friendly. Food has always been delicious. ALWAYS get the fried green tomato. Inside and outside seating. I love sitting outside because the patio area is awesome, but there were flies everywhere as soon as drinks and food came out. Docking 1 star for the non-stop swap party once it gets hot.
Food is phenomenal every time so always a customer!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0Business owner information

We love to brunch here after our Mani-pedis around the corner on Sundays. The food is yummy, the service is fantastic, and the ambiance is busy but comfortable. We usually wait at the bar until our table is ready. The drinks are outstanding. I usually order the thrice old fashion with a rebel pour and it never disappoints.

I do declare: if you haven't tried this place at least once, you must!
Our amazing server, Alexis C, explained our menu and highlighted the more popular items and we had to try the chicken and waffles.
They are also celebrating Women's History Month and are featuring some cocktails. Photo posted separately.
I thought I'd try the Bossa Nova. "honoring The Queen of Bossa-Nova", the Brazilian music artist, Astrid Gilberto" = Leblon Cachaca, lime, simple,Angostura bitters, jalapeño
Crawfish Corn Beignets reminded me of hush puppies but even better. Their sauce was a hot mustard (consisting of horseradish)
Chicken BLT with candied bacon was delish. They honey on the bacon also had a little kick.
Chicken and Waffle : well, best try yourself. If you could pull of getting a recipe, let your fellow Yelpie know!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Business owner information

Go for happy hour, stay for dinner! Or go for brunch. Just go!
Love the charm of the decor and the food is even better! Try something new. I'm willing to bet you'll thank me :)
All the bites trays available on the happy hour menu are DELICIOUS! But be warned, the shrimp, one of the dips, and the chicken have some kick...
Great menu for all tastes and ages! Beautiful ambiance. Great service! Wonderful place for a date or a meal with friends or family!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Business owner information
