very nice and hospital staff, Dr Ben is very professional and welcoming. Looked up my insurance info right away and even explained my coverage for me... took me in on same day half hour from when i call to help with molar pain on christmas eve!! Def a great place.
UPdate: i fixed a cavity here and now my tooth hurts when i eat hard foods and it is extremely sensitive to temp. and food textures, real bummer! id go back for cleanings but that it.

I have been going here for dental work for a number of years, and have never had a problem. They are small practice in Southie, probably serving neighborhood residents for the most part. Very friendly. They even found some small cavities (I hadn't had any in years). I went to a dental student friend of mine for a second opinion, and sure enough, they were right! No complaints.

Agreeing with Rachel M--but writing this way too late. I got a regular check up here last winter strictly because it was close and took my insurance, and my experience is a COMPLETE mirror of Rachel's minus the canker sore...This is a place to go if you hate the dentist but need to tell yourself you're ok because you went to the dentist... What a joke. I asked about some sensitivity on a back molar and was told it was because (at the time) I had a tongue ring. Would make sense if the ring were metal or if I had some wear on my front teeth, not where the ring doesn't reach...what the hell? Also, I think the Dr. spoke two words to me, hygienist, zero. That doesn't bother me so much if I don't feel like I'm hassling you. Good riddance.

Awful, awful, awful!!! I went here when searching for a dentist that took my new insurance and it was awful. I left feeling like my teeth were not clean, the dentist did not even seem to check my teeth thoroughly to make sure there were no cavities and that everything was healthy. They didn't floss, they didn't use the pick tool things..it was just bad. On top of that, the next day I got a huge canker sore on my inside lip something that I have never had before and still have it today, two weeks later.
