      Good service & food.
Enjoyed the Fish & Chips, as well as brunch several times.
      Definitely worth the stop.

Classic small town cafe vib, but the service was great and the omelettes, hash browns and toast were very good.

This is a great little place for some good home cooked food. Just off the highway in the town of Carstairs it is a great choice to stop in. The place is simple and is great for those looking to have good food. Plenty of locals stop in and the food comes out hot and fresh. Price is more than fair a portions are great. (See photo)
Highly recommended for those passing through or those that just don't care to cook. I have the classic breakfast with hash browns and it was more then enough food

I was on the way to Calgary with my girlfriend early in the day before we had a chance to eat. We always had an affinity towards small town diners, the ones where people tend to know each other. Well we found it in Hunters. Just needed a small, quiet, friendly place to eat some hearty breakfast and that's just what we got. We both ordered the value breakfast for 7.50 and we certainly got more than you would expect at that price. Coffee was just under two bucks but despite the misleading menu, refills are free. The food was good but average, just like if I were to make it at home but I can't complain. This place was just what I was looking for; credit goes to my lovely girlfriend who happened to find it for us.

      The value breakfast for 7.50.

In this small little town of Carstairs is this quaint little old school diner/deli. You can very much taste that it's all homemade. One of the best clubhouse's I've had in a ling time. Highly recommended.

Stopped at Hunter's Country Kitchen for a bite to eat with the family on a drive from Calgary airport to Edmonton. Fantastic french fries, patty melt, chicken strips and the staff was very friendly. Overall great comfort food experience.
