Howey Market is such a simple description for such an amazing little store located at the blinking light in the heart of Howey in the Hills. It's no surprise this is where everyone gathers around lunchtime in this small town, and I've yet to hear anyone complain about the wait for the amazing sub sandwiches built in the back of this little market.

For me it's "the Italian" every time, I know some of the others are legendary but the Italian to me is the epitome of what every deli should stake their reputation on, if you can't build an amazing Italian Sub I don't think you should describe yourself as a deli. I understand you can't judge a business on one sandwich alone but it's a great place to start. The people here are as wonderful as the food in the back and the fresh produce and unique selection of merchandise offered down every aisle. It just don't get much better than this...

This place has the best! Local, craft, and big brand items. It's like the little general store you love to peruse!

I'm so happy we caught a glimpse from across the street while getting gas and I had a feeling I needed to stop in! So glad we did!

Make sure you don't support this establishment. As a disabled veteran, I was told I can't be in this establishment without a mask regardless of what ever medical condition I have. Instantly nasty "nope, goodbye, you can't be in here."
Very rude. One younger female with a horrible kool-aid hairdye job and another older lady.
The sheep are definitely in effect here. No worries, I'll go somewhere else who doesn't turn down customers.

What a cute little store hidden in the hills. It's like a tiny market you would see up north. They have things you don't see in a normal store.
Lots of beer and wine and cheese and treats.
They have sandwiches and ice cream too.

Seriously, only two reviews! I'm going to blow it out of the water. No more secrecy. This place is amazing.

Simply the best Italian sub you will find in Central Florida. I live in Orlando area and nothing there comes close to this.

Whenever I visit my parents house, I end up at the Howey Market. They have a great vegetarian sandwich called the tree hugger and organic produce and food options. Also, ice cream! We love this cute little place!

Howey Market is the place for a great sandwich! I'm not from the Howey area so the only way I knew about this place was yelp. Walked in and was immediately greeted with a smile. They recommended the Smoked Chicken and pickle sandwich and was spot on. The chicken was right off the smoker and it was a large juicy breast of chicken. Not some puney pressed garbage you get at Subway. The prices are very reasonable and service and food is excellent. You can tell this place is locally owned and operated. I'll definitely be back when I'm in the area.

Love love LOVE their deli sandwiches... I've had the Turkey Bravo, the Horsewrangler, and the Tree Hugger- all amazing. The store is super cute too and my husband loves that they have craft beer.
