      Over the past two years I have had the pleasure of working with Matt from Hospitality Butler as my wedding planner, and I cannot express enough how grateful I am for his exceptional service. Despite living out of state, Matt went above and beyond to ensure that every aspect of my wedding was executed flawlessly. His unwavering dedication, constant communication, and remarkable attention to detail truly made him stand out as a phenomenal wedding planner.

      Having to move to different state two months after getting engaged, I initially was worried about how involved he could be in the wedding planning process long distance. However, Matt swiftly put those worries to rest. From the very beginning, he made it a priority to keep me in the loop on every decision and development, ensuring that I felt involved and connected throughout the entire journey. His prompt responses to my emails, calls, and messages truly showcased his commitment to providing excellent customer service.

      What truly set Matt apart was his wealth of knowledge and insightful recommendations. He not only listened attentively to my ideas and vision for the wedding. He also offered invaluable suggestions and alternatives that elevated the overall experience, Down to the day of when we had to make last minute changes due to weather. With his guidance, my wedding day turned out to be even more magical than I had ever envisioned. Beyond his professionalism and expertise, Matt's kind and helpful nature made him an absolute joy to work with. He consistently demonstrated genuine care and concern for every aspect of the planning process, ensuring that no detail was overlooked. From coordinating with vendors to managing the timeline, Matt effortlessly handled it all, allowing me to relax and fully enjoy the journey leading up to my special day.       While I had an amazing time at my wedding [thanks to my friends and family], the planning period and post-wedding experience have been an absolute nightmare. We worked with Matt Starnes, who over-promised and under-delivered. During our first meeting, Matt assured us he would handle everything, including coordinating with vendors for us - he didn't.

      During the planning period, I had to personally seek out and hire all but one vendor because the referrals from Matt were unresponsive. To which Matt made no effort to help me get in touch. This was incredibly stressful. To top it off, his communication was inconsistent - numerous [and important] emails went unanswered. When I confronted him about that, he was extremely argumentative instead of simply apologizing.

      If you receive a quote for rentals from him, I suggest getting your own quotes from outside resources. The White Home forces you to use his rental company and he charges 2-5x as much as every other company. It's disappointing to know that other people have paid his ridiculous prices without shopping around. Even after a "discount", the price was still twice as much as another vendor we spoke with. Unfortunately, due to a short time-frame and a storm coming in on our wedding date, we had no choice but to pay for it.

      Another instance was, due to liquor being served at my wedding, we had to pay for an off duty officer to be present per the venue contract. After our wedding, we contacted the Police Department and they informed me that a request was never submitted for my wedding date, and there was no officer there that night. Again, when confronted, Matt was argumentative and would not take accountability for missing this important detail. In the end, many of my vendors would most likely not work with him again due to his attitude, and several guests told me that he was incredibly rude and unwelcoming.

      The next day we were told by Matt Starnes that the sink had been ripped out of the wall by a drunk guest sitting on it. After calling around to several guests, I found out that the sink was leaking all night as a malfunction due to the property not being inspected properly prior to my wedding. My 8 month pregnant guest was wiping the floor when it fell missing her feet by a few inches! Matt should be happy it didn't fall on her feet, but instead he yelled at her in front of a group of guests and questioned her as if someone that pregnant and sober would be able to sit on a sink.

      In response to Matt's response, a great portion of what he said is untrue and I have several email chains I'm happy to share if anyone needs further information.

      What he also fails to mention is that $400 worth of my paid for alcohol "went missing." Matt made no effort to help locate the missing items. He told me "he had done everything he could" but when asked what he actually did to help he had no answer. When confronting the bartender they asked me to not tell Matt they spoke to me because he told them not to talk to me. All items were allowed to leave with one person and Matt did not follow direction or ask permission, so that is also a breach of contract.

      I have used Hospitality Butler for a couple of events and they are amazing!!!! Matt, the owner, is very detailed and professional, and it's very easy to work with. He will cater to your needs and he is so creative and always adds personal touches. He planned both my mom and my sisters birthday parties and they were both amazing and so different!! He has exceeded my expectations at every turn. You will not be disappointed if you select them to plan your next event!!

      I wanted to host a spring mixer for our neighborhood to meet our new neighbors, but had no idea where to start. From the beginning, Matthew and the Hospitality Butler team took complete control of the event. From ordering linens, to providing a gorgeous menu, to executing an amazing experience including delicious food for myself and my neighbors, Hospitality Butler was simply amazing. This event by far exceeded my expectations and was a day we all will remember. I can not thank Matthew and his team at Hospitality Butler enough for a flawless execution. Highly recommended and I look forward to working with this organization in the future. Two thumbs up!

      I used Hospitality Butler for my Annual Christmas party. Matt and his staff exceeded every expectation I had. We sat down and discussed the things that I wanted and from there he took complete control of everything from decorating, to setting up, serving and tearing down. Everyone who attended could not believe the food and the decor. Rave reviews form my guests. I whole heartedly recommend this company. They truly deliver extraordinary experiences.

      Hospitality Butler hosted my graduation party and it was a resounding success. His staff were extremely friendly and professional. The power went out and even that didn't stop us from having a great time, and his staff didn't miss a beat even with temperatures rising from all the people inside! Highly recommend for any event of any size!
