      Absolutely fantastic company. Made contact a week ago, signed and received keys today. Great management team, professional and prompt. The firm allowed us to review the lease contract and make an offer the following day, which was accepted!
      It's great to deal with local people that work hard to meet the needs of owners and renters without cutting corners. Most importantly, they don't just collect application fees for overwhelmed properties. Honest, prompt and accurate, I will be recommending them to other owners and businesses.

      Unprofessional and greedy!
      The property falls apart and they charge the tenant, extra costs, wait times, and dangerous situations.
      They have no flexibility , no compassion for things that ARE NOT the tenants fault but the actual builders mistakes then try to charge the tenant.
      Greedy greedy greedy and especially in this time when people have lost jobs due to the virus.
      They should be ashamed of how they are treating the tenants!!!
      Show some compassion, help your tenants! Thank god they cant charge late fees or do evictions.
      Everyone know your rights! They will still charge you for BS , fight it!

      I have been working with High Desert Property Management for a few years now and have never been disappointed. One of the things that's stands out to me is their fairness to both tenants and home owners. Everyone at HDPM is professional and a pleasure to work with. They are knowledgeable on current laws and regulation that protect all parties. Thanks

      I used to like Matt and Penny, until my son was discriminated against and were left with no heat for over a week during 20 degree temperatures.

      My son is autistic and had a very hard time potty training. He tended to wet himself in his room and pee in inappropriate places, on his bedroom carpet. I fully disclosed to HD PM that my son was the one who peed on the carpet. They said I was lying and had a pet. I had no pets. I let them know further about my sons issues. After moving out they lied and charged me a pet cleaning fee and carpet replacement fee for the entire home! The entire home! My son did not pee on every square inch of the carpet like they stated. I was charged over $3000. Not a cost I could afford.

      Also, during the winter of 2019. My furnace went out. My family was left for 9 days without heat. It was 20 degrees all that week. All five of us had to sleep in one room with a space heater. It was very messed up that they took their sweet time.

      Do not rent from them. They lie and steal. Not compassionate at all. Not truthful at all. Not a place I would ever recommend.
      To add, I moved out during July 2020.

      We rented a Duplex through High Desert a few years ago, and they were great. They were there to answer questions and always helpful. I highly recommend renting through High Desert Property Management.

      My husband and I rented a home through High Desert for just shy of 3 years. We had a wonderful experience with them. Yes the house was flawed (like most rentals are) however that isn't any fault of HDPM. Any time we had an issue they were right on top of it. Each inspection was handled with great professionalism, each question we had was answered in a timely manner. Honestly, it has been the best experience we have had as renters. I believe they are very fair and honest. Our move out process was handled great. I appreciate the working relationship we have had with them! Highly recommend!

      Matt and Penny are extremely easy to work with, very responsive, and very fair. As landlords, they have given us great advice and they have helped us weigh our options on several different issues. They're always looking out for the tenants as well and you can hear that in their conversations with you as landlords. I would highly recommend them.

      HDPM took over my lease from the owners of the property. Upon move out I was held to their standards of inspection. Those standards didn't exist when I moved in. Even though I left the property in better shape then when I moved in, I lost a large portion of my deposit. Also, when I refused entry for an inspection because of not receiving a 24 hour notice due to their bad record keeping I ended up arguing with Matt about it. They say you can refuse entry if notice isn't received in time but they won't like it. However, when it comes to repairs they are quick about it (that gets them one star instead of none). I've never missed or been late with the rent either.

      I have rented from this company for a few years. I have been extremely satisfied with the customer service from all the staff and especially the owners. If there has been an issue, which has only been minor, they are quick to fix it. It's nice to work with a company who is honest and professional.

      I am reporting this company to the Better Business Bureau. The entire 2.5 years I've lived next to their really bad tenants they do nothing when their tenants are loud, threaten me or even harassing. I have to call the city once a week about their tenants. I have over 20 complaints in to the city and Matt does nothing about his tenants. Nor does he return calls or emails regularly. Don't not rent your property through this company, they could care less about you or your neighbors. I would discourage anyone from buying a home next to one of these properties too. Worst neighbors I've ever had in 50 years. As you can see with the multiple poor reviews and others mentioning lack of communication, I'm not alone with my complaints.
