This is an adorable restaurant in Springfield located in the shopping complex with Outback on Baltimore Pike. It's definitely a lovely spot to dine.
The food is as delightful as the ambiance. Super fresh, healthy and large portions. They offer Thai and Japanese choices.
What I Ordered: (It was a shrimp kinda day lol)
Shrimp Tempura - Decent sushi roll. (4/5)
Shrimp in Shell - The name says it all lol. Very nice crunch to the shell wrapped around the shrimp. (5/5)
Thai Iced Coffee - (4/5)
Bangkok Fried Rice - Pineapple fried rice with shrimp, egg, mixed vegetables and cashew nuts. (5/5)
Tango Shrimp - Shrimp, onion and bell peppers in a savory garlic sauce. Level 2 heat (5/5)
The service was A1 as well. I will definitely return and I definitely recommend you try it if you're in the mood for authentic Thai cuisine. I promise they have more than shrimp dishes lol.
Cheers!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - 314997Mar 12, 20241 check-in
Stopped by on a whim...great atmosphere and calming environment. Lots on the menu to choose from--we chose the Shrimp Flambé and Ginger Delight with added chicken. Both entree were huge and had ample veggies and shrimp and chicken respectively. Our waiter was very attentive and efficient. Will be stopping back for the Pad Thai!

Had a very good experience and delicious stir-fry and a few sushi items.
Their Tom Kha (Coconut Soup) is truly delicious, too.
Good service and moderately priced.Helpful 4Thanks 0Love this 4Oh no 0Jan 23, 2017Previous reviewI want to love it here - but the sushi is just Meh. My salmon roll had no taste and husband's tuna nigiri was "not as fresh as it could have been". Stick to the Thai dishes and you will be OK. But even those need some tweaking - Tom Kha ($6 for chicken $7 for shrimp) was loaded with onions. So. Many. Onions. The Pineapple fried rice was tasty - but a bit greasy and again - so. many. onions.
Yes, it's winter. Yes, onions are cheap. But carrot, onion and a bit of zucchini is not enough for me. I need some more green veggies - broccoli? Peppers? Something?
No more Thai iced coffee either. *Sad Face*.
I like it here but I do not love it here.
Every few years I come back and remind myself why.Dec 28, 2014Previous reviewThai food was excellent but sushi last night was just "meh".
My 10 year old did not like her maki but I loved the Tom Kha (sup) and Dumplings I had.
I still love it here but can no longer take the kid here.
Service was terrific.Sep 15, 2012Previous reviewWent here on the recommendation on a friend and was NOT disappointed. Came in early (5:30) on a Saturday night and it was still slow. By the time we left at 6:40 it was filling up.
Even though most people probably go to the Outback Steakhouse next door - I would say to come here instead. Great service and solid Thai dishes.
We only oredered one item off of the Japanese section of the menu - a Tuna/Avocado Salad - served in the avocado shell. YUM! ($12).
My fave - classic Tom Kha - was heavy on the lime juice but still delish.
Steamed Thai dumplings were light and luscious. (Will definitely get these again.)
Drunken Noodles were a tongue-tingling treat. Perfectly cooked noodles - tender not mushy.
LOVE IT.
Good service.
Why not a 5? They neeed to CLEAN the fabric ceiling drapes - they are loaded with dust. Eew. Also the Thai iced coffee was not great - and I usually love this. There's was clyingly sweet and the coffee was so bitter. ($3) Won;t get it again.
Meal for two (no alcohol, I think it's BYO).
Note: I have now been back 2 or 3 more times and the dishes are all good - sushi is fresh and Thai food is great. - Michelle K.South Philadelphia East, Philadelphia, PA0416Mar 20, 2024Updated review
2nd trip to this place on a Tuesday night. Did not disappoint at all! The waiters and servers all were still excellent. The food was sooooooooo good. We definitely couldn't leave without finishing our meals with the fried bananas, this time we opted for some ice cream to accompany the bananas. Such a great combo! Next trip is definitely going to be some time in the very near future

Delicious Thai food! The portion sizes are generous and the entrees are packed with flavor.
I ordered the Penang Curry which was the most creamy and flavorful curry I've had in a while! Lots of veggies and meat in there. Pairs perfectly with rice.
Their sushi options are pretty decent as well. I'm always skeptical when an Asian restaurant coincidentally adds in a sushi bar but it was pretty good quality.
-1 star for the prices. It looks like the prices on the website are outdated. Some menu items went from $16 to $20 for an entree, which is pretty steep for Thai food.
The interior is clean and nicely decorated. The layout is a mix of booth/table seating which keeps the environment quite cozy.
Overall a really great option for lunch or dinner if you're in the mood for Thai food!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - - -.Milpitas, CA2815Nov 22, 2023
We went there yesterday to have dinner. It was interesting as it felt like the owner and sushi chef was a Chinese, and they were serving Thai, Japanese and Chinese food.
We ordered Thai soup with tofu and for the entrees we ordered tofu in garlic and basil and tofu in Penang curry.
The Penang curry was so so, but the basil tofu was killer. They served us with generous portions of brown rice.
The staff members were attentive but very busy. It felt like it was a well run place. I might be back some day to fill my cravings again.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Anyom T.Manhattan, NY2602531Mar 22, 2024
Never got to eat here thought I tried to twice. I walked in, no acknowledgment. Waited for 30 minutes without getting acknowledged. I said "excuse me" and the guy straight up didnt even try to look at me. Absolutely gross behavior. Will not be coming here to even try to eat here again.

Heng's Thai is a favorite when we have a small get-together and do carry-out; we usually order:
+Massaman Curry - peanut red curry with coconut milk, potatoes, onions, and bell peppers; we have opted for pork, but you can choose chicken, beef, shrimp, duck, or veggie & tofu; this thick, creamy curry is so delicious and savory! It's probably one of the best massaman curries we've had - YUM!
+Thai Fried Rice - you can choose chicken, pork, beef, shrimp, or veggie & tofu; the veggie & tofu option is delicious, with crisply blanched veggies; the rice is flavorful and has a great stir-fried taste!
+Lobster Roll - lobster tempura with cucumbers, lettuce, and spicy mayo
+Spicy Tuna Roll
+Spicy Sea Scallop Roll
+Spicy Salmon Roll
+Lady in Red Roll - with chopped tuna, cucumbers, avocado, and topped with tuna
The Thai dishes are delicious, and the rolls here are fresh - the amount of fish and veggies used are generous!
Great small business to support!

Ordered take out from there several nights ago. Ordered for five. One Shrimp Pad Thai, One Vegetable and Tofu Pad Thai, the Seven and Seven Special, the Pad Si -eew with chicken, the Nuts to You dish, Steamed Dumplings, an Egg Roll and a chicken Satay. I didn't get feedback from everyone but they seemed pleased. I was happy with the Tofu Pad Thai but couldn't finish it after the massive egg roll which was 3 to 4 times the size of a normal one! Definitely go to place from now on. One thing I noticed is there doesn't seem to be a lot of seating so make reservations or get there early.
