Gyro City Grill - Hiram

Food: Their Gyro's are unmatched! My husband and I drive 30 minutes to get their lamb gyro's because they don't skimp on the meat or fillings. They are about as big as my head and always well seasoned and super flavorful. My family absolutely love this place.

Service: amazing service! Everyone that works here have always been so kind and assuring everytime I visit. You can tell they love what they do and truly believe in their food/product!

Ambiance: the restaurant takes you into the home of your mom/grandma's Mediterranean home and is so cozy and loving! It's really relaxed and amazing space for families, friends, or even a solo trip.

This establishment has the nicest staff. They were so accommodating and although they made a mistake in my order they were very apologetic.
My husband said the falafel were not that great, but the gyro was delicious! I had a small Greek salad which was standard it could have had a bit more feta. They do not serve enough pita bread with the falafel. I would recommend that they tell you the specials that they have on the board because we did not notice them until we had ordered. If we are ever in the area we will try it again.

MUST EAT HERE! I've never felt more welcome at any restaurant. The owner and staff are so kind and are more than happy to answer questions/ explain anything on the menu. I'm a picky eater and I tried the gyro sliders, traditional gyro, lemon pepper potatoes, and the spinach artichoke dip. LOVED IT ALL!!! Might I add they are a small business that supports small businesses!!! I came in one day as a doordasher and they had a small shop bakery table inside. Absolutely love this place!

Cheerful server. Bland food. The chef needs to taste the food and possibly visit similar restaurants for comparison.

Not as good as Gyro's in Michigan for example.

To be honest, the bar is set very high on Gyro's. We are from the Detroit metro area that has a lot of Coney Island's Restaurants.

My food had HAIR in it, I ordered a greek salad, and I Brought it to their attention, they tried to say it wasn't hair, it was a piece of fabric cloth..cloth or hair it shouldn't be in my food.
The 2nd server verified it was hair after saying he doesn't know, after that they didn't attempt to accommodate me.

I know people will still eat there, just check your food!

Phenomenal customer service. The food was delicious, it came out fresh and hot. The ambience was welcoming and clean. We will definitely be coming back.

As mentioned in other reviews, Gyro City is under new ownership. Overall, the food was very good. The style of Greek cooking is lighter and fresher tasting. Meaning, the seasoning and spices were subtle as to not mask the flavor of the meats and vegetables. Portions are moderate and priced appropriately. Now, we are from Michigan where Mediterranean cuisine is plentiful. We have only found 1 restaurant in North GA that would compare to back home. However, Gyro City was very enjoyable and we will definitely return.
