I've been 4x, and I've given up. That says a heck of a lot considering of the choices at Burbank Airport. I've had the burger, avocado toast, breakfast burrito, and the monte cristo -- and I have complaints about each. I have great respect for Guy, but come on, I feel like they just slapped his name on the sign...and he had nothing to do with it. Very disappointing.
1) Avocado Toast -- It was a thing of beauty, but it was more of a open-faced sandwich than what I'm used to. Sourdough, QUACamole, diced tomato and onion, bacon, and topped with 2 runny eggs. QUAC? C'mon! Totally changes the flavor as opposed to freshly sliced avocado, which is ultimately what I wanted. Plus, the quac wasn't fresh -- gray in color and tasted 2 days old. I picked off and ate the eggs, the bacon, and the side of perfectly executed tater tots! [$10.95 + $3 for bacon, 2.0 stars]
2) Breakfast burrito -- an omelette with tins bits of everything, like it was blended together. Nothing stood out. No texture difference, just soft mush with sour cream. A big, flat, NO. [$10.95, 2.0 stars]
3) Monte Cristo -- worst I've ever had. A grilled sandwich with slices of turkey, ham, egg, and jam inside without being dipped in egg and fried like French toast with powder sugar atop. I didn't like the quality of the sliced meat, nor the jam inside. Very poor. [$10.75, 1.5 stars]
4) Cheezyburger -- nice brioche bun, but tasted very much like a Fatburger or a Five Guys. Way below my expectation, it was no more than a short-order fast food burger. Nothing wrong with a FB or 5G, but expected way better from a Guy place. The 5-cheese sauce blend they rave about shouldn't be raved about. Fries, on the other hand, were mighty good. [burger $9.95, 3.5 stars + fries $3.75, 4.0 stars]
A number of issues:
================
1) Staff at register and the chef had ZERO personality my first visit. Better the 2-3-4th time.
2) No coffee is served, which means you have to go get in 2 lines, here and another at Coffee Bean or Peet's to go along with your breakfast.
3) Everything is served in a paper box! Come on, a plate would make the dining experience a whole lot better.
Conclusion:
==========
I'm done. No. Maybe the bar. Okay.Helpful 21Thanks 0Love this 14Oh no 0 - Feb 2, 2024
This is a good burger joint in Burbank Airport. The food is freshly made and the ingredients are good quality. This place can be a quick option if you want to order to-go or it can be a nice place to chill and people watch if you have extra time to kill. You can order food and drink at the bar or at their counter stand. I had a Real Cheezy Burger and it lived up to its name. Didn't order any fries because the burger is big and filling. They have chicken sandwiches, too. My only complaint would be to expand the seating area. It can be a little tight if you are looking for a table.

While waiting for our delayed flight, we got hungry! Oh, Guy Fueri, the famous foodie you see all over the food networks seems to be the founder. His name is on it. Lol.
The food here is quite good, but it is probably the most expensive burger with fries I've ever had. Yes, probably because it's in the airport.
We ordered the Kobe Burger with an extra order of French fries. With tax, I'll say it's $30.00. In addition, we ordered chicken tenders with more fries that come with it for another $20.00. And add a bucks tip. Guess how much? Haha.
Anyhow, the food was well prepared. Burger was greasy but still flavorful and delicious. The chicken tenders were a little dry but nicely fried.
The food is good. Just overpriced. Oh well, anything goes when you're hungry.Helpful 13Thanks 0Love this 8Oh no 0 - 4693961569Sep 21, 2023
Our flight kept getting delayed and we got hungry. Never tried this place before so we just grabbed a table. The waitress at the bar is really nice and she has amazing memory!
It took a while for food to come out but we are pleasantly surprised by the flavor. Usually airport food isn't that delicious but these burgers are juicy and well made.
There are seats at the bar too if you're only here to drink and watch TV.
Would stop by again if I have time before flight takes off.Helpful 4Thanks 0Love this 3Oh no 0 - Feb 2, 2024
Got the delicious makin bacon burger! Burger was well cooked, a good amount of toppings and done in a timely manner to catch the flight. Comes in a box good for travel. Make sure to get lots of napkins! Was $19.

I've been to many airports across the nation and Burbank is by far the easiest and most convenient one bar none. When it comes to food and adult beverages, having the food being freshly cooked is always best when it can be observed from just over the counter. When it comes to Guy's Highball Lounge / Burger Joint, this place hits all my high notes that surpasses most airport eateries.
The Highball Lounge has a great selection of high-end spirits. Not many (if any) airport bars will carry: Pappy Van Winkle, Wellers, Blanton's, MacCallan 18, JW Blue Label, and others. That vast array of choices alone sets this drinking well apart from all others. There are multiple HDTVs to satisfy any sports fan who wants to watch their team prior to their flight. There are charging stations under the bar to keep your phone battery ready for travel.
Food can be ordered from the Burger Joint right next door. I've ordered many burgers/sandwiches from here over the years but I've recently created a custom order that fulfills my burger needs; food hack. Burger Joint Fries (loaded) with added burger patty and 2 sunny-side up eggs. This is the perfect barfood meal with protein and fried goodness; it will leave you well filled until you arrive to your travel destination.
Are the prices here a little high? Of course they are; you're at an airport without many options to eat. But when you do order your meal/drink, you are well assured that the food will come out hot/fresh, well-seasoned, and the drinks will be poured just heavy enough to keep you in a spirited mood before your flight. And after all, isn't that the way we all want to start our trips?Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Apr 26, 2023
Food: 3.75 Stars
Service: 5 Stars
There's not a whole lot of places to eat inside the Burbank airport, but this is one of them. I wasn't expecting too much, since it just seems like an overpriced burger joint, but I was really impressed with the service. The lady taking my order was not only able to ring me up for a couple of side patties (one for chicken and one for a kobe patty), but she was also able to separate some of the loaded fries and make my small portion "un-loaded". They also came out extra extra crispy, just like I like them. And I even got a little extra lettuce to eat my patties.
The food was just okay. It's expensive for what you get and you're in an airport, so your options are pretty limited. But I was really wowed by the service; I find that in airports, custom or special orders are often very hard to do (or not even an option). So hats off to Guy's team here!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Apr 7, 2023
The food was decent but very overpriced, which was expected because it's in the airport. $20 for the breakfast sandwich & tots.
We ended up splitting a breakfast sandwich & ordering fries on the side. We were up at 4:30am and didn't have time to stop anywhere before our flight but by 7am we were HUNGRY.
The bread on the sandwich was great, bacon was a little under-done for our taste. Fries & tots were super good, as was the ranch.
It was our only option for food, so we ate it. That's about it.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Mar 22, 2023
For an airport food is good . For anywhere else it's a c. A burger for 19 with no tots or fries is just wrong.
This is the only place to eat at Hollywood Burbank so your stick or bring your own. It is quite and service is goodHelpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Apr 27, 2023
Garbage food at airport prices. But sadly it's the only place to get a hot meal in Terminal A. If departing from BUR, I recommend eating on the way to the airport.
There are two Guy's locations in this airport. Since they are basically the same I cover both here: [https://www.yelp.com/biz/guy-fieris-kitchen-bar-burbank?hrid=zIEvjX7p7YSMOsRCKyJxHw&utm_campaign=www_review_share_popup&utm_medium=copy_link&utm_source=(direct)]Helpful 6Thanks 0Love this 4Oh no 1
