Gusto Pizza

Vibe- Very clean look outside and inside. There's seating outside. There's plenty of seating inside. TVs all around playing local news and spots of course.

Customer service- Everyone was polite. They came by the table to check on my boyfriend and I a coupon of times!

Food/drinks- I went with the Mona Lisa pizza with the vegan mozzarella for my cheese choice (happy they have that as an option). I got the pizza without the other two cheeses as well; the ramona and ricotta.

I will say if I were to ever order this pizza again, I'd get it without kalamata olives too.

Parking- There's plenty of parking!

I was pleasantly pleased with my to-go order.

Ordered the 10" Spartacus, 10" Anything is Possible Vegan pizza, vegan cheesy bread, and 3 kid size vegan pizzas.
Total was $55.xx before gratuity.

During COVID19 review:
I ordered on the phone and they were hot and ready in 20 min for pick up.
I walked in with a mask. I didn't ask for curbside but I'm sure they offer it.

Kid pizzas come with a drink! NICE!
The size was maybe 5 or 6" pizzas. Nice for one kiddo.
The Spartacus and vegan pizza were amazing in flavor, crunchy thin crust, and perfect size for one adult.

All employees were masked.
I was the only one there at their evening open time.

The store was open for dine in.
Too cold for outdoor dining.

Drove home in 12 minutes and our pizzas were still hot and tasty! I was impressed with the packaging and the care they took.

I must of had the manager because I interacted with him briefly and he was a delight!

Overall I was impressed with everything. I can't wait to go back and definitely looking forward to the summer for outdoor dining.

Friday night is pizza night! Tonight was Buffalo chicken and Deburgo Sirloin. The Deburgo definitely has a rich and creamy sauce with good flavor but a dash of wine in sauce would have made it amazing. There were a few grisly bites, and that is disappointing considering there is not an abundance of Sirloin. The Buffalo Chicken again had good flavor but I would have liked a little more chicken and a little more sauce.

Stopped and ordered Caesar salad and Detroit style pizza. Best Caesar ive had in DM. Never had Detroit style pizza but im addicted. This was fabulous.

Sooooo welcoming. I took my nephew for lunch. They were not very busy, so I think the staff they had working were doing everything.........they were hustling. When we walked in there was a gentleman waiting to be helped at the counter. Soon after a staff member brought out a carryout order and said to all of us he would be right back to help us. I appreciated that he acknowledged us. My nephew asked if they could make one of their pizzas that is not on the menu, they were more then happy to make it for him.

We ordered the lunch special. Great deal! Huge salad, 7"(I think) pizza and a drink for just under $11. The salads came out pretty much a couple minutes after we sat down. The pizzas came out (steaming hot) just as we finished our salads.

The restaurant was very clean, staff were working hard and still very friendly. They even have a patio out front. Definitely will return

Just had a slice from their truck at Exile Brewery Music Festival. It cost $5. They had no pepperoni or black olives. Got a slice of simply cheese. Worst piece of pizza I've ever had. I get much better slices at the gas station

I understand the business is struggling but taking away the fan favorite steak deburgo pizza isn't the way to fix it. This is going to be the downfall of the business. The owner already drives around like an @$$ in his crappy 2007 scion box car. I know several people including myself who would make trips here just for the steak deburgo. When we walked in last weekend and were told it is now seasonal, we left and went to waterfront. Taking local favorites off the menu so you can cut corners will inevitably seal the fate of your company. I hope the owner does some soul searching and stops being such a douche bag.

Perfect spot for "Personal-Sized Pizza"!

Came here to try this place out this evening and really liked it!!

We started with the garlic cheese bread.... It was really really good! Their marinara sauce is really good!!

For dinner I was adventurous and tried the "THAI KWON DOUGH" a great take on a Thai flavored pizza with a peanut sauce... yUmMMmmmm!!!

We also shared the "SPARTACUS"... this was really really good as well! I wanted more!!

Next time we come we are trying the original break sticks and ordering a large SPARTACUS!!

The girls working this place are great too! Very attentive and super nice!

I had lunch at Gusto earlier this week and it was an amazing experience! The restaurant was spotless and service was fast. Thet had a build your own pizza option which I was super excited about, since I'm vegan. They have vegan cheese!
There are some great topping options as well. What really impressed me is that I ordered the bruschetta without cheese and the guy behind the counter came out to my table and let me know that there were some non vegan ingredients in the bruschetta and offered to have it made vegan for me. I thought that was really nice if them and the food was sooooo good! I will certainly be back!

Liked being able to order different styles of pizza and not just one kind. We had the New York Style margherita, the Chicago deep dish style Big Cheese, and the Detroit Style Rock City. Tie for winner in the group was between the New York and the Chicago but the Detroit style was still good just not our preferred kind of pie.
