Yelp really let me down this time.

Was brought here by the high reviews..

      Food was just ok here.

Nothing really stood out - just the run of the mill american fare.

      Tuna melt was very underwhelming.

Only thing worth mentioning here was the staff, they were great - friendly and quick.

It's time to forgive this place for my lane complaint. I said so myself, the food was good. Should have shut my mouth when I got done saying that. I apologize.

This place is a great little breakfast spot. Decor is cute. They have indoor and outdoor seating and is pet friendly.
We were seated immeadiatley and received water and a bowlful of kiddie cereal. How cute! We ordered the famous crack bacon, the crack bacon pancake, the Dutch baby and two coffees. The pancake was a little strange. It was very flavorful but more savory then sweet and had a little spice kick from the bacon. If I were to order it again I would ask for the syrup on the side because it made the pancake soggy. The Dutch baby was delicious. It could have used a minute or two more in the oven but I was so hungry it didnt matter. The crack bacon was delicious but it wasn't as amazing as I thought it was going to be. Coffee was good and came with real cream instead of those icky little creamer cups.

Service was amazing. We never had to ask for anything, our coffee was refilled without having to beg, and never a dirty dish on the table. We will be back!

Off a side street in Hollywood,CA, this cute little sidewalk cafe with colorful umbrellas, greets you with a smile!
The menu lists items for a Weekend Brunch. We chose the following:
The Carnivore B.F.P. - A pancake with crack bacon, topped with Cheddar Cheese and drizzled with syrup.
      Are You Yolkin? Egg Sandwich.
The B.D.B.- The Baby Dutch Baby Pancake.
The Kevin Bacon - 3 Scrambled eggs, roasted potatoes, toast and 2slices of crack bacon.
Drinks ordered were; a mimosa, lemonade, ginger ale, orange juice, apple juice and coffee.

Everyone was very happy with their choices. I'm not thrilled with spicy food. The roasted potatoes and the bacon were very spicy! Our scrambled eggs were ordered soft and they came well done. The check we received was double what our meals cost. We informed them of their mistake.
We had great service, nice outdoor seating. They had heaters outside for cooler days. They had a great Mimosa, good coffee, a delicious and unusual Dutch Baby pancake.
      This was a memorable event.

I would give this place a 3.5 but closer to a 4 hence the rating. I've been here once before a few years back but a few friends and I decided to come here for brunch. Parking can be a bit tricky if you plan on staying for more than 2 hours.

I arrived first to put our names on the list. Took about 10-15 minutes to be seated. I ordered a hot coffee and then changed my mind and wanted iced. A friend of mine wanted a hot coffee and the guy just got confused and brought out two hot coffees even though I clearly said one hot and one iced coffee. No big deal they bring out an iced coffee. Boy the need to get better tasting coffee. It tasted quite awful. Skip it.

3 of us ordered the oh Lala sandwich. It was delicious. I should have ordered more of the crack bacon. It literally it crack bacon. A must

A holiday special that they had was the pumpkin pecan pancakes. I personally did not like it. It was super under cooked and had a weird taste to it. My friends on the other hand did enjoy this. So depends on your palette.

I would have given this place a 3 but our servers last bit of kindness bumped it to a 4. She had already given us the bill but my friend wanted to redeem the cookie via yelp. She ended up giving up 4 of them and that made the review better. I thought that was super kind and thoughtful.

I'd come back again for sure.

This is a cute hidden brunch spot and I'm glad we came here...

THEY HAVE COMPLIMENTARY CEREAL!!! Yay! I like different and they sure did think outside the box with that. A bowl of dry cereal for the table. Nice. Ours had Cookie Crisp and Fruit Loops. The Fruit Loops surprisingly complimented the mimosas I was drinking lol.

For breakfast I ordered the "Are You Yolkin" egg sandwich. Comes with scramble eggs & cheese on a croissant. I added sliced tomatoes. The sandwich was bigger than I expected. Which was a plus.

The waiter forgot to put in my order of side of garlic potatoes and my free cookies for checking in on yelp. But this was still a good place to stop at.

They have a cute small outside dining area which is nicely shaded by plants and small trees. We sat inside since we didn't want to wait 20 min to sit outside. Flies were inside tho so that kind of sucked.

This was a house converted to a restaurant...great ambiance. Ambiance discussion below and just check out the photos...

Street parking is available but can be difficult to find. Kinda like a hidden

We came on a Saturday for brunch.... the food was really good. The ambiance was cool too. Definitely check out the salt and pepper shakers and all the cool little knick knacks (is that how you spell it??? Probably not...)

Service was very good...bottom line, this place is worth going to... it's different...

The ooh la la egg sandwich was so delicious. There is cumin seasoning I believe in it, so for all the lovers cumin, this is one you'd probably enjoy. It's a combo of sweet in some ways because the bread is sweet, I believe it's French toast or crossiant soaked in syrup. You could double check with the server, but it's something I would order again.

The pancakes were alright, not something I would order again. Same with the sweet ginger iced tea. The reason I will be back is for that egg sandwich. They also bring out a little cup of cereal to snack on until your meal comes out. That was a cute touch. Street parking.

Come on, now; if there was a six star rating for these fine folks running Grub--I'd give it to them. But honestly all my lovely LA foodies, y'all gotta give Grub a try and become believers!

After scoping through the Yelp page for months, I finally gave Grub a go for brunch. Expectations were met all the way. What I tried:

Oh LA LA Egg Sandwich: I love grilled cheese sandwiches and breakfast sandwiches, and CROISSANTS (drool, drool, more drool!). This breakfast Sammie comes loaded with eggs, cheese, and that Crack Bacon will make you want to order TWO of these, ever-though one will put you right to bed from a food coma. The Crack Bacon is addictive. I can't order any other sandwich from Grub without adding it to them; it's one of those things you can eat like beef jerky.

Hooked!: I took two bites from my friend's dish and yea, the name is suiting--I am ordering it for myself next time: Tuna Salad, cheddar cheese, with red pepper watercress fennel cashew pesto (I know, I was also like "six words for one sauce!!!") on sourdough! This Sammie is delicious and only falls a few notes behind the Oh LA LA. Only a few...

I am determined to branch out and try the rest of the menu (I'm eyeing you, Spicy BBQ Pulled Pork Sandwich).
Also, it's so nice to see the owners/management (not sure which of the two titles the gentleman helping out on the floor is, but he's on-top of his game--I can tell he cares!) helping out the hardworking and oh so friendly servers. GRUB delivers excellently on every level of the dining-out experience. I want more Oh LA LA!!!

Oh LA LA Breakfast Sandwich. Look at this beauty. It speaks for itself
