Most rude people!!!! Terrible representation of the people of Shreveport. The chairs were blocked off, thereby forcing travelers to stand for a hour while waiting for the bus. Why?

How is this place still "operating", is beyond me.
My brother, with special needs, was on a trip from Florida, to Arizona, and made a stop here. The service reps were horrible. I don't know if it's a culture difference, or not, but they refused to answer the phones, all day, and refused to help him out.
The problem was that he was beat up, at the previous station, and the attackers stole his phone, shoes, and backpack; resulting in him being stranded in Mississippi. They wouldn't let him back on without buying a new ticket, because he missed the bus after all of that. He managed to, somehow, get money to get a ticket to the next state (Louisiana), after a couple days. Once here, he didn't have money, so I was trying to buy him a ticket. But, like I was saying previously, they would not answer, or work with me.
Throughout all of this, he was contacting me through other peoples' phones. At one point he tried to hand them a phone, to talk to me. They just replied, "that ain't my problem! I don't care!" He was saying, "I'm a customer though, and you work here."
They just kept replying, "I don't care! I ain't gonna answer no phones if I don't wanna!"
I just bought a new ticket, now, and they still won't answer the phones. Every time I called, they wouldn't pick up, and it would send me to a person in India.
At this moment, I don't know where my brother is, and I find this whole company extremely unprofessional. We've spent nearly $1k just on this whole trip, to get him to Arizona, and there is ZERO customer support.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Ricardo P.Shreveport, LA5294232481Feb 4, 2017
Is there any way you can make a place zero stars? This place smells like crap and looks even worse. There is an absolutely errie silence and not one person to help.
When is finally got someone to help answer a question they were rude and seemed very annoyed that i was even talking to them. That was the rudest woman I've talked to in a very long time.
The only thing that kept me from going crazy was the little soda machines and arcades. Jees Louise !!!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - 5865975366May 26, 2017

Greyhound. Just don't get stuck next to the one person who stays on their phone while everyone else is trying to mind their own business! This location is a city stop and is within a mile to the local transit hub. It is an indoor station with a decent amount of seating. There is a business office inside to buy tickets as well. Customer service was slow and although they were helpful, it was clear that they were annoyed with my question (to be fair, there was only one person helping customers and it was a long line). I would like to see this place remodeled. It has a lot of space and potential to be a very neat facility and a few extra employees to help with customer service would be appreciated. Overall, this Greyhound stop is better than most but still just passes with minimum standards.

This particular station is ok.I know that's not too original but all Greyhound stations are about the same. Its a fairly medium size facility with a restaurant that serves hot food and a place to buy snacks. They keep it clean(bathrooms included)and don't allow the homeless to become permanent tenants. They only have a few buses per day out of here so its not as crowded as other cities.
My one and only complaint is the bathrooms don't have hot water!!!This cant possibly be sanitary for hundreds of people per week using the bathroom and washing up.Somebody needs to notify Greyhound and the health department.Nasty people already don't like washing their hands. Now they have an excuse for not washing them....yuck!Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 3Oh no 0 - T. I like that Greyhound has a bus from Shreveport to Dallas about every 3 hours, 24 hours a day. Dallas has a much bigger and cheaper airport; it is usually more economical to take the bus to Dallas for the airport.
The lounge is rarely crowded and the snack bar is usually open, but there are no fast food/regular restaurants within reasonable walking distance, so if you are hungry, your only choice is the snack bar.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Meghan T.Tucson, AZ01Jul 2, 2018
THIS LOCATION IS CLOSED!! WORST SERVICE EVER, BUS NEVER CAME. I bought a ticket online and it told me to go to the wrong station, the station it listed on my ticket is closed and no longer operating. I got to the right station, my bus was delayed 3 hours, I waited 3 hours and they said the bus was delayed another 2 hours. I couldn't get to Dallas on time to make my flight, I never used my ticket, didn't take the bus. I tried calling them for a refund, they make you mail your ticket in and request a refund through the mail. No one I did speak to was helpful, I was treated poorly by the staff. No one apologized for the delayed or inconvenience.

I decided to give this company a chance. I was booking a ticket on the website and it did not ask for a name, but whether the cardholder for the credit card was travelling. As I am also a cardholder along with my husband, I clicked that option and it auto-filled his name in but I could not see that before I had paid. When I pulled the ticket up about 1 minute later, I saw the mistake and immediately called customer service. The first rep said that I was out of luck, but the supervisor I was transferred to told me to have my husband call and they would rectify the situation. He called the same evening and wasted 30 minutes of his life in frustration resulting in no change to this unreasonable answer. Either the supervisor was lying to get me off the phone or they are totally incompetent. Either way, I just permanently swore off using this company. No wonder almost everybody has done the same.
